    Shrimp cocktail
    Mia R.

Food was subpar to say the least. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, but I should have asked how many shrimp came with it before I ordered. For $18, I only got 6 shrimp, but it did taste pretty good. The flatbread left a lot to be desired. The one I ordered was supposed to come with pesto and EVOO, and very noticeable the pesto was missing. When I asked the bartender about it, she told me that it didn't come with pesto when it very clearly stated that it did on the menu. When I ate the flatbread, it tasted like it came out of the microwave. Very happy I got a discounted price since I ate during Happy Hour Added a star for the drinks. I got the Cocktail of the Day, which was a Mai Tai, and it tasted great. Restaurant atmosphere was very relaxed ans the space was aestically pleasing

Came on a Saturday early afternoon for brunch. The "restaurant" is really the bar and seating area in the lobby of the hotel which is very nice. I liked the decor and the view of the pool. The menu is obtained via QR code, and then the order placed with the bartenders at the bar. The bartenders were nice and helpful. I ordered a bloody Mary which was disappointing. Very watered down and not much flavor. To be honest, one of the worst bloody Mary's that I've had. I opted for the French connection sandwich while my wife got the conquistador breakfast sandwich. The conquistador breakfast sandwich was pretty tasty. It came out quickly, and was served with some fried potatoes and a roasted tomato. The potatoes were okay, but the roasted tomato with cheese and pesto on it was nice. I think we are going to steal that idea and make it at home. The French connection sandwich had a couple of issues. First they forgot the egg, which they rectified quickly once I alerted them. Aside from the egg which was tasty (once I got it) I was disappointed in the sandwich. They advertise a tomato jam on the bread, and I'm a big fan of tomato jam. I don't know if they forgot the jam or if they had a weird deconstructed tomato jam (if you call it that) instead. There was no sweetness to it at all, it was just a few pieces of roasted tomato on the bread. The brie was nice and melty on the sandwich. All in all, I was underwhelmed with the drink and the food. For what it's worth, I probably will not be coming back for the food, but I'd be willing to come back and try a different cocktail for the ambiance. Ambiance: 4 stars Alcohol: 1 star Food: 3 stars Service: 4 stars

Looking for a night out by an open fire and a few small bites or a date night? This is the place to be. There's also an outdoor pool which adds to the overall aesthetic. Truly one of a kind in this area. Although I didn't get a chance to enjoy time by the fire pit, I enjoyed the cozy indoor setting. I was informed that an outside group reserved the area while a convention was in town. Currently the menu is a bit limited, but there's still a few good options available. The crab cakes initially seemed small but they were packed with flavor, absolutely no filler which I always love. A true crab cake. Garnished with corn and avocado the flavors truly are something I could enjoy time and time again. For this reason alone I will be back. The flat bread pizza was decent, I wouldn't recommend it if you're truly looking for something appetizing. My server was extremely attentive which is always a plus when dining out. The chef stopped by and was also pleasant. I hope next time I stop by the hand bites are available and I can enjoy the crab cake hand bite. There is a parking lot immediately adjacent where you can pay per hour. Given the time and day you visit you may be able to find street parking. This place is definitely a hidden gem, I will be back as long as they are around. Hoping to get my chance to warm up next to the fire pit. It would be a great addition if there were two.

Deviled eggs topped with crabmeat and bacon. The bacon ones were much better than the crab.

Delicious food, fast service, beautiful brunch atmosphere! We sat outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful weather almost as much as the food. We ordered the boudin egg rolls after seeing a couple of pictures of them on other reviews. They were probably my favorite thing we ordered! Absolutely delicious and spicy (thank God!). We also had the bananas foster waffles which were great. They taste just like the dessert - rich and sweet. My husband ordered the avo trio and it did not disappoint. The star of his show, however, was the alligator sausage. The only thing that didn't have the "wow" factor for us was the deviled eggs. Everything was excellent and we look forward to returning!

Brittany is an asset! On our trip we had a pool day and Brittany kept us entertained with good vibes and good drinks. She was attentive, had great customer service, and was fun to talk to. While there we ordered the Cali Cajun from the kitchen and it was delicious. Overall, our experience here was great and we were very happy to be taken care of by the staff, mainly Brittany at Batture.

From the moment you walk in you feel like "Yea this is what being rich feels Iike" LOL if "this is a vibe" it would be this place! Where can you go in the quarter and feel like you are on the beach and also in one of the most upscale restaurants. Pool side brunch that you can actually swim in. The service and welcoming feeling was great. We had a "Lucy B" comes in big bottle for sharing really tasting and refreshing. I had the banana fosters waffles which were great just wished the bananas were cooked. Wife Pecan praline waffles were great to. Even had amazing alligator sausage! Attire guys don't worry about being under dressed pretty casual...

Definitely add this spot to your list for Happy Hour in New Orleans! Their HH is daily from 3-6pm and includes specials on drinks plus half off of their flatbread selections and half off of their deviled egg apps. Other than that, the food options are a bit expensive for what you get (flatbread is normally $15-16 without HH discount). The vibe inside is really cool and it's a lot larger than what it looks like on the outside. Music was 5/5 for the indie electronic music fans. Service was also great and personable! A place to visit before dinner or when you want a chill happy hour. There's also a pool connected to the bar for hotel guests, which was pretty cool!

    Rum punch. Yummmm

I have been wanting to check out this spot since I saw the sign that it was open! So, today, I decided I would venture out for lunch. You can sit wherever, at least during lunchtime. I sat near the TV because I wanted to look outside. I ordered a rum punch, because it was that kind of day. It was delicious! Not too strong, which I prefer. Their drink list is beautiful, so I'd love to return sometime when I can sample more (heheheh). For lunch, I ordered the gulf shrimp handheld. It is shrimp with remoulade and slaw on french bread. It was so refreshing! It comes with chips, which were a nice change from fries. The other item was pickled yellow squash, onion, and sun-dried tomatoes. Yummy. For dessert (yes, I'm gluttonous, whatever), I ordered the godiva chocolate mousse. O. my. godddddd - UHHHHH I can't even believe how amazing it was.... It was sooooo good. It had three raspberries on top and some raspberry puree on the bottom. I can't talk about it, it was so good. Anyway, check out this place! Lunch is Thursday and Friday from 11-2 (or 3, I forget), but they're open for lunch!

Perfect brunch on a Saturday with girls! Lovely atmosphere and esthetic. The service was amazing and the food was so good. We got the eggs Benedict, the mini waffles, and all the breakfast sides.

This place is really classy casual. The noise is average and the atmosphere is friendly and casual but intimate in which I think is unique. I'd say I'll come here with some girlfriends and grab drinks and lunch or dinner and just have a great time. Casual comfy attire for sure but not too casual by any means.

Cool and hip spot. Classy menu tucked in the corner. Perfect spot to sit on big couches with friends. great design. Boom!

Great service and food. Our chef and the restaurant manager came out to check on everything......I had the creole Benedict and my bf had the BBQ shrimp and grits. Coffee and food were great! We were seated immediately and didn't have to wait 2 hours to sit down for some great food. We stayed at this hotel during our visit, but you don't have to

The restaurant and courtyard are beautiful, with a rich history that adds to the experience. Chris Hannah is one of the best bartenders in the business. He took the time to learn what we enjoyed and crafted cocktails that were absolutely spot on. Beyond the drinks, he was warm, engaging, and even shared a list of local recommendations that ended up being some of the highlights of our trip. Outstanding cocktails, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable start to our New Orleans adventure.

We were seated in the upstairs area and tried some of their drinks. We got the Brandy Crusta which is their most popular drink and the Pouvez-Vous Poulet which is a seasonal cocktail. The Brandy Crusta has the cup dipped in sugar with a fairly strong cocktail within. Definitely get this when you are here as that is one of the best Brandy Crustas and is historical. The Pouvez-Vous Poulet is a duck fat washed rum cocktail and is also very delicious. You cannot really go wrong with any cocktail, but definitely order the Brandy Crusta for the true experience here. Though, honestly, while the cocktails are good, it was not as memorable as the other Top 50 Best Bars in the World that I have been to, but I won't dock a star off because of this, since the cocktails and overall experience otherwise were fantastic. Service is good but can be a bit slow, but it is an acceptable tradeoff for a more quiet ambience compared to downstairs.

The Apothecary was the cure. We grabbed seats mid bar and before we even finished settling in, there were waters waiting on the bar. That simple move already separated this place from the chaos outside. It's hospitality in its cleanest form: welcome in, take a breath, we got you. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on. Alchemist Elixir: pea flower gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon. It shows up pale violet with an orchid on the rim and yes it's pretty, but it's also disciplined. Corpse Reviver #2: local gin, Lillet Blanc, Grand Marnier, absinthe, fresh lemon. Cold, crisp, citrus first, then the herbal edge and just enough absinthe to remind you what city you're in. Served in a textured coupe with a cherry skewer, details handled like they actually matter. Outside, the streets were selling amnesia in plastic souvenir cups.
