The Flamingo Deck is back with a vengeance! New and improved menu items, a new updated deck for more privacy and coziness. The biggest highlight I experienced was the sourdough crust they use with their pizzas. I learned that it was recently improved, and boy was it. I liked how crunchy it was and how soft yet chewy the inside was. It hit all the texture notes that I love in a great crust, not to mention terrific flavor. The pizza in question was the Blanco Pie, which was a delicious sauce-less pie with mozzarella, chorizo, chili, parmesan cheese, and a drizzled romesco sauce. Both the thinly sliced quality chorizo and the romesco sauce were both quite delicious. I chose this pizza because it was the most unique pizza on the menu. In addition to the pizza, I also had the seasonal roasted pear salad and the tempura calamari. The salad was great. I loved the way they roasted the pears, which elevated their flavor, and the addition of the burrata cheese, prosciutto, and local honey; well, that just took it over the top That being, offering freshly ground cracked black pepper would go a long way with this salad. The Tempura calamari was very good, too. It was a tad over fried, but it had good flavor and was tender, specifically the piece with the whole body and tentacles. The calamari came with a side of lemon aioli, and it was bliss. I spread that on a fish sandwich and many other items. Great stuff. Service was attentive and cordial. Aesthetically, this is the cutest bar I've ever been in! Great location by the beach too. Drinks were really nice, even their watermelon mocktail, and we loved the steamed mussels with red sauce! Came here on a Friday night around 6 for dinner and the atmosphere was not quite what we expected. There was extremely loud music playing and it was dark- more of a club feeling. Oddly enough- the food was 10/10. I got the pesto salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies- it was cooked perfectly with a salty crisp exterior. I appreciated that they had a mocktail option; I can't remember exactly what it was but it was fruity and bubbly. Bachelorette babes -- THIS IS THE SPOT!!!! Came here for my sister's bachelorette, it was the only meal out we did and we are SO glad this is where we chose to go. The drinks are fun and festive, there was not a bad bite in all the food we ordered (although we had plenty of favorites, including the Goat and Berry salad, Ahi Tuna stack, and the pesto burrata), and our service was among the best I've had in any city! Went to Flamingo for lunch today for the first time. My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered a sandwich and 2 pizzas (one to go). We first got the mushroom pizza and it was very soupy looking. As soon as I picked up the slice, everything fell off. As I scooped it back up onto the pizza, I told my husband that it looks really bad but tasted like pizza so maybe it was just mine that I ordered. The server never came back to our table on his own. But I flagged him down and asked if we could get the pizza order to go soon and if we could pay for it. The guy took the card and just put it down (I guess waiting to give it to the main waiter). When we did get our to go pizza, we opened the box and it was just as soupy! We flagged the main server down and asked two question 1. Did he get our card from the other server and 2. Is the pizza usually this soupy. He said he didn't get the card..but then the other server said "oh yeah, it's right here". And the main server (as he's swiping to charge us said) "No the pizza isn't usually this way. The chef that's here now usually isn't the one making the pizzas". As we looked a bit confused as to why he wouldn't have said anything before or given somewhat of a courtesy discount, he goes "but was it good"? My first reaction was going to say "well no because I didn't get any toppings since it all slid right off and it was literal soup." But my husband and I had to get back to work and he had already swiped our card so we just let it go. But what a disappointment in food and terrible service. Parking can be difficult on the weekends since it's so close to the beach, options include a paid structure ($12/hr on Saturday OR 2 hrs free validation from a nearby store), or small lots around the block which are usually full unless you get lucky! Overall, I love the interior, it is super cute and fun! A really big downside is the music is SO loud, it was hard to hold a convo without screaming at each other. I do like how upbeat it is, but it felt more like a day club than a brunch spot LOL, but if you enjoy that, then this is a great spot for you. I really like the drink I got (aperol spritz), it was super refreshing! Definitely mix it though. For food, I got the spaghetti carbonara. It was a smallish portion, but carbonaras are usually super rich and heavy so I would understand why it's smaller. My friend got the truffle spinach benedict with a salad on the side, which she enjoyed. I did find that portions were on the smaller side for my taste, and I usually want my brunches to be filling. I do wish they had more food options available for brunch, but it seems like they focus more on the drinks. If I visit again, I definitely want to come with a group to share a big flamingo drink. read more

OK so this Hass to be one of my favorite places now! The food was literally amazing. I got this pizza that was sweet and spicy at the same time. The fries are really good and so is the Caesar salad. However, the espresso martini was OK. they said it was their most popular drink, but I've had so many from different places and it's not my favorite, but if I went back, I would get it again, the ambience is amazing. I love the set up of the entire place. They have areas by the bar areas that are secluded they even have beds where you can lay out is definitely a place you have to try. read more

I had my rehearsal dinner here at the beginning of the month in the Laylow, the speakeasy in the Flamingo Deck. For about 6 months I emailed and met with Mercedes the Director of Sales & Events and she made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. We had an open bar with delicious drinks and a buffet. The food was amazing the vibes were just right and the drinks were flowing. We came here for a bachelorette dinner for 10. They didn't allow us to make reservations but when we got there they were like, do you have reservations? Weird. We got seated outside and service was excellent. We had 2 girl servers and they were so friendly and understand and even let us split the bills. Place is pretty trendy. Lots of groups and some couples. Cool colors and beautiful place though. They have their famous golden flamingo sugary cocktail. You can share that but with Covid, it might be weird. They have happy hour. We got this mezcal drink that came in a martini like mule cup. It was cool but the cocktail wasn't cold, we asked for ice then it got cold.
