Waitstaff was not good this day. Very inattentive until I wanted the check and wanted to upsell some desserts. I had to continuously pull waitstaff over if I needed something and the food was mediocre at best. For an appetizer we had the egg rolls which were a decent size, but just lacking flavor. I had the fish tacos and they were a mess, ended up having to use a fork. Outside ambiance is always great. I get it mid-afternoon busy, lots of tourists in this area. But still.... C'mon you can do better. read more

Ok so Flanigans in pompano beach has to be my new favorite. Food always comes out promptly and service is always amazing. We started with two New England clam chowders- they were thick, rich and full of flavor. The clams in butter are always to die for- so delicious and affordable The garlic rolls are so buttery and addicting, be careful not to fill up on these yummy things. I had the ribeye which I would 10000 percent recommend just so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ribs are always to die for here .. this is the place you need to go for good ribs. I am a long time flanigans customer...I FINALLY had a great service experience!! I had Peter as my server. I never thought I'd write a review..but here I am. He really was fun and engaging. My drink was always full and I finally didn't have to ask for my order to be corrected. I'm going back and definitely asking for him the next time! The place is great. Sea air...views for days..wings where they toss the garlic not just plop it on top...I have a favorite location! It's this one! A big thank you to Danny for keeping the place in motion. Came here for a quick dinner with some friends recently. There was a bit of a wait (30-40 min) and we had to sit outside but it was a Friday night so understandable. Our server Adrianna was great and funny. Very attentive. The food and drinks were pretty good, I can never really complain at Flanigan's. It was a bit loud but it's a sports bar on the beach so that's what you expect. Overall, it was a fun time and I'm sure we'll be back. read more

So , we first sat down in the bar on the north side of the bar, as soon as we sat down and an overwhelming smell of urine came over us. We moved to a different location (southeast) side of the bar. The bartender asked why we moved. We told her the smell was horrible, she said yes it's been bad ever since the remodel. your general manager is an idiot if she hasn't said anything to the corporation. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. I went with a group of friends for dinner, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with disregard. We waited for almost an hour and a half -- without any clear explanation, with no attention, and with extreme unwillingness from the staff. We felt ignored and completely disrespected. In the end, we decided to leave without even eating, deeply disappointed. A place that treats its customers this way doesn't deserve any recommendation. Terrible. Slow service. Had to keep asking for things and tracking down our waitress. Chicken tenders were disgusting. Someone messed up the soda lines and they brought me Coke Zero instead of regular Coke and tried several times to fix it but it wasn't fixed at the end of the meal. If you're from SFL you know all about this joint. This specific location is my favorite. Staff is always great, service is fast, food never misses and it's as close to the beach as you need. Good vibes, games are on, best weekday deals in town. I'm here like 2-3 times a month. Everything is worth it. Top 3 are the blackened dolphin sandwich, the ribs, and don't sleep on the nachos! Pretty disappointed in my last few visits to Flanny's. Salmon was good and hot, fries were nowhere near fresh , (even after being sent back), and my Moscow Mule keeps being served in a rocks glass. A rocks glass is for liquor ON THE ROCKS, not a mixed cocktail. Once you fill a rocks glass with ice, lime juice, and ginger beer, there is not much room left for actual alcohol. A rocks glass is NOT an appropriate way to serve a Moscow Mule. If you don't have the proper glassware, the least you could do is serve it in a tall glass. read more

This is our family's favorite casual dinner spot. We love their outdoor tables so we can people watch all the beach mayhem. They're always pretty busy so service can be slow at times, but nevertheless, we always come back for the cheap drinks and amazing ribs. I ALWAYS take pictures of my food before I eat, but I was so hungry and excited for these ribs that I forgot!! Ribs fall off the bone and their bbq sauce is definitely one of favorites ever. Sweet potato fries are also BOMB (get it without the cinnamon sugar) and coleslaw is solid. For drinks, joes pale ale all the way. We will always support flanigans!! read more

Flanigan's is an old fave from the FL days, so whenever I'm visiting, I always make it a point to go. We like this location because it's close to our family. It's a busy location for obvious reasons, so it's not always the most ideal (you could wait a bit), but it's typically consistent and delicious, and you know if it isn't, they'll always make it right. My go to order here is either a cheeseburger with fries well done and bbq on the side, wings/hot/crispy/garlic, or both of those items, and they're just incredibly delicious examples of these bar food faves. The hot sauce on the wings has a signature kick and zest that sets it apart. It's also a bit more a wet marinade/rub than a sauce in my opinion, and I enjoy that. I will ask for a side of hot sauce because I like to dip extra and have it for the fries too. The burger just well seasoned and perfectly cooked beefy goodness with the right bun, the freshest toppings, and that great grilled flavor. You can't go wrong with either and I have trouble deciding. Our last visit here was far from perfect, but they were quick to acknowledge it and quick to make it right too. Very much made us feel like valued guests and that is so appreciated. Can't believe how a huge corporation treats guests. Coming from the food industry you never not accommodate a guest. Didn't even have a chance to eat here. manger (Steve) on duty today was so rude and didn't even try to accommodate us. Told us the bar area (high tops) was closed and bartender couldn't wait on us that we had to sit in a booth with a stroller in the middle of the walkway. Asked to sit at the bar and he said not with a stroller. Host (Jordan) was very rude dismissive as well didn't knowledge us we had to approach him. Maybe have more than one server on during lunch! We use to come often and recently service and food have gone down hill and this just topped it. read more

My cousin had her 60th birthday party there last week. There were 17 of us. Our server was Makayla and she was AMAZING! The food orders were all perfect, the food came out quickly and was delicious and she was very attentive to the table! The food is what they standardly server which is good American choices. This review is more about our young server that probably should have taken the day off or not beworking there at all. We get seated after waiting a short period of time in a 2-person seat. That was extremely tight but moved on to a larger one later. The Miami Dolphins was playing or shall I say getting their behindes beat and the atmosphere around us was full of locals, tourists, and those who wanted to watch the game. We weren't greeted by a soon to be told 20 four-year-old. That gave us a very monotone, canned welcome, like she didn't want to be there with facial expressions to match. Before we could ask about anything. She excused her tone of voice by telling us she's just worked 30 days straight. My belief was that she was probably out partying the night before because nobody legally works thirty days straight.at a job. I asked for a specific drink and asked her if she knew how to make it, and I joked and said. "Well, you shouldn't know how to make that. You don't look like you're old enough to drink. " And she seemed to take offense to it and told me. "I'm 24 years old. I know how to make a long island iced tea. Everything was all downhill after that. My date wrote, "Nobody should work 3O days in a row on the receipt along with a minimal 18% tip" and the young waitress confronted her as she came out of the bathroom and aked her "What dose that mean"? The demeanor, bad service of which I did not fully add to this review, and the confrontation cast a shasow on this location Great food, bad service that day. Will I go back to this location? Hostess was EXTREMELY RUDE and managers didn't seem to care so we decided to take our business next door to Whale Rib Oyster Bar where the entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! I can't say that I have ever had a bad time at any Flanigan's and this time was no different. Flanigan's is a small local chain located in the south Florida area. This particular location has a pretty cool beach by and I stopped in about 10 on a Tuesday night just to grab a quick drink. I can't attest for hear about the food, however the food I have had at other locations has been pretty good. The service was friendly and prompt and overall I had a good time. Flannigans never disappoints! Great outdoor seating and something for everyone on the menu. There is always a wait, so go early and put your name down and they text you when the table is ready. Always good service from beginning to end. They have some hidden gems on the menu. We come for the curly fries. They're like not seasoned? Huge portion, crispy, and golden. The ribs are the best around!!!!! If you're hungry enough I recommend! Also, their fried shrimp is delicious! Lightly breaded and good seasoning. The seafood gumbo is something I get every single time. So hearty with great flavor. Even their mozzarella sticks are good. They have great specials! Happy hour deals, early bird specials, and if you sign up for the email club they send promotions weekly like bogo fried shrimp! We ate there for either lunch or dinner for 3 straight days. On the 3rd day I ordered a hamburger medium well and it came mostly medium rare. About a 1/3 of the burger was ok but it just got worse as I ate it. Showed it to the waitress and she agreed with me about the he way it was cooked. The manager said if I told him earlier he could have fixed it. So he gave me a free soft drink. Didn't real care about what I had to say. He just said I'll naked you happy. Flanigans is always our first stop when we have our annual Deerfield Beach vacation! Last night, Shannon waited on us and she was phenomenal!!! She checked in on us at just the right moments and made sure we always had everything we needed. And the food is ALWAYS a 10/10!!! Ribs, rib rolls, and the ribeye are just a few recommendations. The food was really good and so was the service. They provide Valet parking. Location is awesome.

The bathrooms are closed due to construction and the trailer they brought for bathrooms do not have functioning sinks in the bathroom so people touch the handles after going to the bathroom. They expect you to go to outside the trailer to pump sinks that barely have flowing water. This can not be sanitary for patrons or employees handling food. I usually love the Flannigans experience however this is a horrible situation read more

The service was horrible. I came in an hour and a half before closing and immediately can tell our server was rushing to get us out . The whole point of a servers job is to be vocal and we were being mumbled to with a stone face ..talk about setting the tone . She did not mention any specials , deals , desserts , absolutely nothing . We were dealing with an order taker in the position of a server . Abby was our "server" and Abby also did not state her name we received it from another employee when we were being seated . With that same employee Abby was looking and also pointing at my table from inside the restaurant and when I looked she stopped . No one should be pointed at while eating especially from an employee.
