Flanigan's is not fine dining, but that's not the point. It's popular because the food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. If you enjoy ribs, seafood, and a comfortable neighborhood vibe, it's one of the most reliable restaurant choices in South Fl. I love their lunch specials $6.99 with the purchase of a beverage. They have lots of choices. I had the crab salad sandwich with their seafood gumbo chowder,it was great. i've tried most of their different lunch specials.

If you are from South fla you know Flannys. The food is always consistent and the ribs are some of the best I've had. it's open late and the prices and deals are pretty good. i am not really a drinker but i k ow they have a late night happy hour and my friends were all about that. they have many locations so you can catch me here at least a few times a month

Flanigan's is a South Florida monument for a lil' of that classic old school mix. Always a perfect setting for some drinks, wings, and burgers at the bar. We found this to be the ideal halfway point meetup spot between Boca and Fort Lauderdale. Though I've been to plenty of Flanigan's before, first time at this location. This is one of the more original spots which still has Big Daddy Flanigan's Wine & Liquor connected.

We were staying within walking distance of this location and decided to give them a try. There was a short wait, but not long enough for me to get a beer at the bar, walk outside, and finish it. We started our meal with the dolphin fingers which were good. My wife had the grilled tuna, sweet potato and cole slaw. I had the Dolphin Francaise, which was a unique preparation with lemon juice, white wine, and sauteed onion, which was unexpected. I know it was on the menu description, but when I saw it on my plate the onions just surprised me. Fish and onions is not something I would put together, but it worked. The staff was very friendly and even though the two person booth we were sat at was small, it worked in the bar atmosphere. I would recommend stopping in.

Flanigan's normally does not disappoint. The ribs I had were good !!! The food my parents had, they enjoyed. Only thing I did not like was the beans and rice. The rice was overcooked and hard. They even tried to send me out a new batch of rice, but still overcooked. They ended up giving me a baked potato. But I have no issues spending my money with Flanigan's.

We went on late Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was busy and there was a short wait. Upon being seated, we waited longer than usual for a server to come to our table we put our drink and food order in at the same time my husband and I ordered their famous baby back ribs, which were a little bit tough, which is unusual for this restaurant so we were a little disappointed. The baked potatoes were also hard. We do love the ambience in this restaurant with the big saltwater fish tank and all the colored lights and big fish on the wall. There were lots of TVs so everyone could view them. This is one of our favorite places just happened to get some ribs and potatoes that didn't satisfy.

This was my first visit back at this location in many years. We attended a fun flea market event next door so figured why not! Overall it was as good as the standard Flanagan's. The food was tasty, and service was good, at first, then teetered off. Partly to blame may have been that they were short staffed, and only had one bartender. I would still be willing to visit again.

Parking was conveniently located right in front of the restaurant, making it an easy stop. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit wherever we liked. We chose a table near the window and immediately appreciated the intimate and charming atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and televisions, creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. Our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel right at home, which always enhances the dining experience. Although we weren't extremely hungry, the menu had so many appealing options that we decided to sample a few items. We started with the Caribbean Tea shots, which were unique, refreshing, and surprisingly enjoyable. For drinks, we ordered a Malbec and a Peanut Butter Old Fashioned. Our first entrée was the Churrasco Frites, featuring marinated skirt steak topped with chimichurri and served with twister fries. The steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, but those fries were the true star of the dish. Still wanting more, we ordered the Garlic Parmesan Twice Cooked Wings. They were nicely prepared and satisfying, though I would have enjoyed a stronger garlic flavor. Not quite finished, we moved on to the Oaxaca Burger, an 8 ounce burger stacked with onion rings, bacon jam, house BBQ sauce, and Oaxaca cheese. This was one of the best burgers I've ever had, and possibly the best. The bun was toasted yet soft, the burger was seasoned perfectly, and it was cooked to a juicy medium temperature. Every bite was packed with flavor. Overall, everything we ordered was excellent, and the service and atmosphere made the experience even better. To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. The lovely hostess guided us to a booth by a window. We were greeted by our equally lovely server Jazmin (sp?). Btw, she rocks! Upon perusing the lunch menu we jumped at the deviled eggs appetizer. These beauties were two beet stained eggs cut in half topped with a spicy yolk filling and garnished with scallions, chicken skin crunch and trout roe. OH MY! My dear friend and dining companion was leaning towards a salad but we put on our thinking caps and decided that the fried chicken entree, which was accompanied by two sides and a biscuit was the best bang for our taste buds. And indeed it was. She ordered two pieces with greens and mac + cheese while I chose three pieces (thinking ahead to lunch tomorrow) plus the mac chz plus sweet potato soufflé (that was Thanksgiving babe!). The chicken was fresh out of the fryer and we had nothing but praise for the sides. To top it off...Nanner Puddin'! Just like mom made but no Jello pudding here. Amazing. Since it was a weekday, we got to meet the chef and give kudos. (He's a happy dude) I wouldn't care to come here on the weekend when it's packed but I can see why folks do. The place is enormous with a huge outside venue and a sprawling banyan tree. Plus the Sunday brunch menu is tempting. But for a chill lunch with nice employees and scrumptious food on a Thursday, we were star struck and satisfied.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a cute outdoor bar area with stools where you can eat and hang out, which gave the place a really nice vibe. The music was a great mix of R&B and oldies too. Now let's talk service... for me, service is everything, and unfortunately that's what made this experience disappointing. Our waitress, Haley, was pretty inattentive throughout the meal. We asked for extra Caesar dressing and never got it, and it was honestly hard to get a hold of her most of the time. Because of that alone, I'd probably think twice before coming back. As for the food -- it was hit or miss. We started with the wings as an appetizer. They were flavorful, but nothing memorable. I'd probably skip them next time and try something else. I ordered the crispy Cobb salad because it sounded amazing on the menu, but it was a letdown. It was mostly lettuce with barely any chicken, and I had to mix the whole salad myself. At a restaurant, I kind of expect a Cobb salad to come already tossed together. Also... no blue cheese available? Come on now lol. My boyfriend got the fried chicken with sweet potato fries and mac & cheese. I will say, everything came out HOT, so you can tell the food is made fresh. The mac & cheese didn't look impressive at first, but it tasted SO good. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. My sister ordered the lobster pasta, and honestly the portion size shocked me in the best way. They were generous with the lobster, which almost never happens, and she loved it. My daughter got the crispy chicken sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had, so that was definitely a win. Overall, the food itself wasn't bad at all -- my salad was just a flop. If the service had been better, this review probably would've been very different. Not sure if I'd come back, but maybe on a different day with a different server.
