This place is misleading if you only go by the exterior. The parking lot is pretty tight so bring a small vehicle if you can. The interior is pleasant without being overwhelming. The staff is pretty cool and put up with my older brothers being a pain so that was awesome. Food came out piping hot and tasted really good for the cost. Certainly a place to check out if you are around and want something non-touristy. Just genuine people and good food.

I'd already posted a review, but I'll gladly do it again. This hometown diner spot is a gem in the rough. As you approach the entrance, there's seating outdoors, and lots of dog bowls. They had me there! But once inside, I felt like it was a no judgement zone. The staff is very friendly, especially Stephanie, my favorite server, and I was able to have a hassle-free, very late breakfast with an old friend. We chatted, while delicious food was served. My veggie omelette and hash browns were out of this world delicious. My friend of 40 years is fighting cancer, and Stephanie was so patient and accommodating during our visit. I couldn't be more thankful. There was no feeling of being rushed, even as it was fairly busy. I love this place and will continue to visit whenever I'm in Palm Harbor.

Doing some early doctor visits and in the mood for Brunch, decided to go back to Flapjacks, having been there once before. It was busy but we were seated right away. Kennedy, our smiling and vivacious server, brought menus and waters. My wife went for the special Mexican Scramble with onions, green peppers, eggs, jalapeños, chorizo and pepper jack cheese and a side of whole wheat toast. I chose the Irish Bennie with corned beef hash and a side of grits. Both meals were excellent. The Scramble was delightful and had a nice heat. My Bennie was a delicious twist on a classic. Great food, excellent service, well worth a visit.

Food came a bit slow, but the food was so delicious it made up for it. The restaurant felt like an old fashioned diner, the place is local and I would recommend it.

I've passed this location numerous times since moving to Clearwater during the pandemic. I drive past the intersection of 580 and McMullen Booth Road numerous times. I happen to be up early this morning and did a U-turn just stop at flap jacks. I received a very warm welcome from a sweet, looking waitress named Kennedy once upon entering the building. She made great venue suggestions and seemed very knowledgeable about those. My food is fantastic. It was well worth stopping in this morning. The service was exceptional. Kennedy is an exceptional ambassador for your brand. I would highly recommend stopping in again, and especially asking for her . Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

The place is very nice and cozy, and the food is priced very well, nothing out of his world but still very tasty. Menu has tons of options! Definitely would repeat if I lived in the area!!!!!

This is probably my favorite breakfast spot in town. Food is great, prices are reasonable but parking is iffy.

This place really caught my eye driving by the restaurant during the day. And when you walk inside,…read moreit doesn't disappoint. It has a pretty amazing bakery section when you walk through the back door to enter the restaurant. I was starving and picked the biggest thing on the menu which is the smokehouse platter and you get a ton of food with this platter (Brisket, pulled pork, quarter rack of ribs all served with coleslaw, Texas toast & side of fries.) I thought the price was absolutely amazing because you get all the food for $28.95. Needless to say as starved as I was, I couldn't even finish the whole meal. Our server was Scott and he was pretty amazing and he was training a new hire and I'm sorry but I can't remember her name but she was equally great and explained the menu really well. It's really a bonus that they stay open till 11 PM Thursday through Saturday. So anything you get that is from the BBQ...they bring out this 4 pack of house sauce. I tried each of them and all were great and had their own unique taste. Chipotle White, PD BBQ, Korean BBQ, Carolina BBQ. The Korean BBQ was definitely my favorite. The chipotle white is kind of almost like a mayonnaise in my opinion. The inside while definitely fresh and clean looking...it does have a sort of rustic, actual prohibition older type feel. Would absolutely come back when in town again. Great overall experience here

Popped in for Mother's Day brunch…read more Reminded me if Claim Jumpers and Cracker Barrel had a baby LOL Bar service was very slow - they seemed short staffed. Cocktails were okay - priced well but taste was meh. Id stick to beers here next time. Food was decent - I got the burger which was really good. The rest of the table got brunch and everyone was happy w their food. Food was priced fair. Xavier was our server and he was very good, sweet kid and attentive. Lots of parking and reservations made over the phone. Would come back but not rushing too.
