We were looking to have a quick bite on a Sunday night and wanted to avoid any of the fast food options so we tried this diner. The place is pretty big with tables inside and outside. The menu includes a lot of options including soups, salads, burgers, bowls and breakfast items. We ended up trying their burgers and they were good. The only thing I noticed is that almost everything was extra (bacon, avocado, sweet potato fries, etc.). The food came out pretty quick and we got our check as soon as we asked for it. It felt like the typical diner in American movies.

We went late at night. I love diners. This one didn't have a old time feel to it but it was cute. They are one 24/7, music isn't too loud and the girls there are nice. Sometimes they take a min or two to come back to you, but it was like 11pm and an influx of people came in. The food was good typical diner food. The French toast was really really good. I will come back for brunch.

I was here for lunch today, and I loved this restaurant! I had been to the one in Aventura and the waitress said it was the same owner. I felt it was because of the same memorabilia on the walls. I love their decor, it brings back memories of the past! My lunch was delicious! I had the tuna melt with French fries. My waitress was so sweet and professional!! Overall it was a wonderful experience here!!

Flashback diner on Davie road ext, has always been a good value and good food restaurant, and it still is. Many restaurants have changed after Covid, whether just remodeled or new owners, sometimes change is bad, but I'm glad to say that flashback diner is still very good. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was plenty and good. That's about what you should expect when you eat out. We will continue to go, all the interior and exterior changes are Welcoming with table top outlets for the college kids nearby can plug in.

I'm a sucker for a 24/7 diner, and this spot outdoes the rest in my book! Wary of average reviews, I had low expectations, but the menu is HUGE. they have so many options for breakfast, brunch, lunch/dinner, and dessert. Additionally, while I don't eat a lot of Italian food, I LOVE pasta alla vodka - and you can't imagine how shocked I was to see it available at 3AM in a diner booth. I added grilled chicken (which was seasoned and cooked very well), and it came with two pieces of fresh garlic bread. The portion was so large I almost couldn't finish it. Our server was so kind, and I enjoyed meeting multiple employees over the night as the food was delivered. You can tell they do their best to keep things moving while ensuring everything is super clean/organized. I foresee this being a regular spot for us night owls.

This place has been the go to breakfast spot for years in davie. Breakfast lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed. this was a little brunch stop. We got the cheese burgers with a sunny side egg on top with fries.

Great place for a lunch if you can't decide between a soup/salad and a sandwich. The food came to us correctly. Free o arking available.

I grew up in New Jersey where we had a lot of great diners serving an endless menu of food around the clock. Those craving the diner experience thankfully have Flashback Diner to fill the void. In business for over 30 years with locations in Hallandale, Boca Raton, and here in Davie, they are known for their comfort food dishes like fried chicken, hamburgers, omelets, and giant slices of cake. On the walls hang autographed pictures from the past and the present, featuring movie, recording stars, and celebrity chefs. I especially loved the I Love Lucy tribute across from me. The Davie location has a large outdoor patio featuring karaoke on Friday and Saturdays. It is dog friendly and they have a doggy menu. I arrived for a late night dinner at the Davie Flashback after visiting the Garden of Lights at Flamingo Gardens. I was busy and hasn't eaten all day and I was starving at 11 PM. My server was Eric and within minutes he had my perfectly cooked cheeseburger burger and fries in front of me. He was very nice and even stopped to chat with me a bit which made me feel very welcomed. If you are looking for a snack or a meal at off hours in Davie, Flashback is open 24 hours with an extensive menu including all day breakfast. I loved everything about my visit including the vintage decor, the service, the prices, and the food. My burger was so massive that I ended up taking half home. Flashback ended up being the perfect place to grab a late night meal.

Flashback isn't bad just not one I would run to for every occasion. The location is very old school they have it decorated with movie posters all around. I ordered a waffle with eggs, bacon & sausage. As you can see the presentation is very plain and no pizzazz to it. The waffle could of been a little crispier but at least I know that for next time to ask for it well done. Eggs were good. Bacon was crispy and sausage was really good. Service was great, our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.

Be careful what you order. We order the meat loaf and it was garbage. It looks like it was scrapped from the pan, burnt and just a pile of chop Beef. It was missing the mashed potatoes it had no gravy and the veggies were soggy. Avoid this.

I came here on a Sunday evening and it was empty inside. There was really not a lot of people being served and staff were just standing around. I think our server was overwhelmed since we were a party of 10 people because service was okay. The food was a bit slow to come out and I didn't really enjoy my meal. The Spanakopita looked and tasted reheated. Phyllo dough is only really good served freshly baked. Maybe they just over baked it. The fries were okay but the chocolate cake was excellent. I think everyone else enjoyed their experience here but I felt it was average and could use work. The tap water even had a funny flavor to me. I've been to the boca location before so I think I'll stick with that one as it's nicer ambiance and better food (in my opinion).

We started with the focaccia bread, calamari, and onion rings/strings -- all excellent, and a great way to kick things off. For mains, my wife got the deep fried haddock sandwich on a gluten-free bun with a side of sweet potato fries, and she was thrilled she didn't have to sacrifice anything to eat gluten free here. I went with the Prime burger topped with truffle cheese and upgraded to the truffle parmesan fries, which were phenomenal. This was our first visit, and our server James made the whole experience even better -- attentive, knowledgeable about the GF menu, and made sure we felt taken care of the entire time. If you're gluten free or dining with someone who is, Burton's Grill should be at the top of your list. We'll absolutely be back.

The hostess told us a few different options of where to sit from and we took a booth. The server was very on top of everything and came over quickly, got our drinks and told us of different drink orders that were happening at that time. I decided to get a zombie and it was amazing! The flavors were mixed perfectly and it was a nice pour! I decided to get the prime rib sandwich with fries as a side and omg it was heavenly. The meat was cooked perfectly and the ciabatta bread it was served on was fresh and soft! The cheese was melted perfectly and the meat was seasoned great as well! The fries were so hot and seasoned with something that was out of this world! The place has some nice decorations but overall is just a sports bar at the end of the day. I also liked the seating at the booth - they were not square booths, but rather round "embracing" booths, so we were warmly greeted and we got a Lunch Menu! There were some cool options to be had a t a much reduced price- for lunch! My partner wanted a burger. Well he got the juiciest burger, and the fries were to die for! I picked from the lunch menu the pork with mojo and rice and beans and let me say my dish was very savory and good! Not the Cuban style Mojo I was expecting, more of a Caribbean-Jamaica flavor to it, but very delicious nonetheless. We ate with much gusto to our hearts desire... and eventually had to get a doggy bag because even my lunch portion was bough to take some back home for later. Great place, service and ambiance.
