No Plum tomatoes as described in the menu online, mozzarella barely there is "sliced" and the basil? A garnish only. Again see pictures. Called and the gal kept arguing with me that it's plum tomato sauce.... not tomatoes... this picture was taken today. You decide. When you say "fresh mozzarella" I expect truly fresh mozzarella....when you say tomatoes, I expect tomatoes, when you say basil, I expect it. Okay so this was my first time here and I will be coming back. I initially visited with a friend who is a flat earthier and was intrigued by the name, I'm just a pizza eater so I came for the food! We got an xl cheese pizza New York style , his choice ( I normally prefer meat and veggies but I let him have this one). It was really good, I enjoy the authentic over brick crust and the sauce was very rich and flavorful. Also a bonus, Stella Artois is my favorite beer and I love when it is served in the correct glass ha. And they offer happy hour. Will be visiting again, but I would like to try a variety of pizzas and it's great that they off a 4 corners pizza allowing you to try 4 separate specialties. The Earth is Flat, Elvis lives and the Pizza is amazing! Offering up the Quattro Cantone, the purveyor of Pie is able to select four sections to be either custom made or made with pre selected choices putting Flat Earth Pizza in a league of its own all together. We took this one home and made half of the pizza The Mediterranean, one quarter Buffalo Chicken and the other a pile of black olives and cheese and all of them were amazing. The Buffalo won me over with its tasty simplicity. To end our order we also took home the Nuts Italia. Also Flat Earth Pizza really did right by the Dessert Pizza as the bread didn't fall apart with all the amazing toppings, tasted great and fed three of us. We used to go here for takeout and the pizza was always good. Decided to try it since the owners and menu have changed and it was awful. The bottom and the crust was overly burned and there was hardly any sauce or toppings on the new Hawaiian they have. Absolutely no flavor. Super disappointed for a $30 pizza, come on! We went for lunch today. There were a few tables in there when we arrived. Multiple tables came in after we ordered. After an hour and everyone else eating and leaving we had barely gotten our wings. They were having issues with their system, but that doesn't explain why EVERYONE ate and left but us. We didn't even get to try the pizza because we were over it. The wings were okay but 45 min for some wings, on a not busy day, they better be some good wings, and they just were okay, could have made better at home. Located in a strip mall on Hwy 50 aka William St near the 99 cent Store, I was surprised at how good and handmade on site everything was. The ranch was super deIicious. I'm definitely coming back to try some smoked sausage on a New York style. They also serve slices @$4. Its Frank Sinatra and the classics on the sound system. There's nothing better than watching a pizza made by hand, fired in a brick oven, and served up with crust still crackling from the heat. With a menu touting imported Italian tomatoes, cold cuts, and cheeses, and all sauces, crusts, and breads made in-house, Flat Earth Pizza clearly intends to to provide that classic experience, with a few modern touches. For appetizers we ordered a plate of smoked beef and pork meatballs, served with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and toasted crostini on the side ($10.99), and smoked pork ribs with whiskey barbecue sauce ($17.99, half rack). The sauced spheres had near-perfect texture, easily cut with a fork but firm enough to not fall apart. The sauce was nice and chunky, with just enough melted cheese. The toast rounds were just shy of toothbreaker territory, so focused on the tasty meaty balls. Although I'm a sucker for hot wings with pizza, I'm equally drawn to the promise of good ribs. These had a basic dry rub and a fair amount of smoke, served with a very good sauce on the side. The meat was tender and generally enjoyable, although a bit of effort was required to chew it off the bone. Fans of the "slides right off" variety may be a little disappointed, but the flavors were worth the effort. Moving on to pizza, the menu starts with "Old World" and "New York" styles, i.e., olive oil and basil margherita, and east coast red sauce with mozzarella. There's a list of about 25 toppings to punch up your pie, both classic and those less so. Broccoli rabe slice, anyone? We chose a few 12" pies from the specialty menu, starting with "From Russia with Love" ($17.99). Of primary note, the crust was very thin, crispy, with toasty flavor and good chew at the edges. In fact, I could barely detect the pizza's tomato cream vodka sauce against the slightly salty crust, mozzarella, seasoned mushroom, green pea, and prosciutto. Everything worked well, although I don't know that the peas were really necessary. At least they added some nutrients and fiber. Next, "The Great Bambino" combo pizza ($18.99), topped with plum tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, onion, seasoned mushroom, smoked sausage, black olive, and fire roasted bell pepper. The thin crust held up well under the load, likely aided by another example of very light sauce. The overall effect was good--and considerably less greasy than similar combos--but I'd really like to taste a little more tomato and herb flavor amongst the garlic and smoke. To be clear, this was a good pizza, but with just a tweak it could be great. Special note to the thin-sliced link sausage in lieu of ground, loose meat. That bit of bite from the casing adds a nice bit of texture. Finally, "The Mediterranean" with pumpkin seed basil pesto sauce, mozzarella, feta, smoked chicken, spinach, artichoke heart, tomato, black olive, red onion, and garlic ($18.99). I don't know that I really noticed the ground seeds, but this was the one pie where I could really taste the sauce. Definitely my favorite out of the three. The chicken was fantastic, tender and moist, with a good amount of wood smoke and seasoning. It was perfect counterpart to the herbs and veg, combining with the cheeses and crust into the sort of experience where you might just eat that whole pie. With no regrets, of course. read more

Visiting from out of town and this is probably the best pizza I've had in years! I also tried the cheesy garlic bread. It took all my will power not to finish it before the pizza. They use a garlic butter on the bread and pizza and it really makes the flavor pop. I can't remember the name but the speciality pizza had ham, pineapple, and tomatoes with bbq sauce.
