Very clean place. A little small, but nice. I ordered two medium pizzas and some chicken wings, and the service was decent, the pizzas were great-tasting, and the wings were alright. Only complaint I have with the establishment is the cost. Very high prices for pizza. Very high. It's great pizza, but working Families can't afford to eat there every week. Uber Eats customers - avoid. I placed my delivery order and was told that it would be delivered in 40-60 minutes. Seemed like a while, but was OK with that given we were in Incline Village. This was a large order for a special occasion. Car arrives and waits at least 30 minutes. By now, the order is 75 minutes in. I call the restaurant. They tell me they are busy. They should not be accepting orders on UberEats with deceptive delivery timeframes. I am connected to the manager. He says it won't be long. I wait 10-15 minutes. I call again. It has been almost 90 minutes now and pizza has not left restaurant for a 20-30 minute drive to Incline Village. Families are starving and I have already found a better alternative. I complain and say I would expect them to refund the order given this horrible experience. They say they will refund the order. The night was already shot, but that was a saving grace. However, it has been two weeks and the refund was never given. They should not be on UberEats delivering to outside of Carson City. And they should be managing the customer experience much better. read more

I requested a large pizza. Was told they don't make that but a extra large. So, mushroom, onion, sausage and green pepper. The sausages were flat sliced and sparse. The entire pizza dough was soft, my mom's best friend who is 80, said definitely not good and bland. Friendly staff though and they discount veterans. After a good day on the golf course, I was very much looking forward to sinking my teeth into a solid pizza pie, and I found just that. After leisurely sipping on my Stella Ariios, my first course arrived...a monstrous "side salad". Kids, don't fool yourselves, this ain't no small salad! The first thing I did was ask for a to-go box before taking the first bite. I knew that half of it was going home with me because there was no way I was polishing off that entire salad and a pizza. It was chock full of mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded carrots, croutons and a nice homemade ranch dressing. When it comes to a good pie, I like 'em fairly simple...so I went with my go-to: pepperoni. Their New York style wood-fired pizza had good cheese, and the crust looked sufficiently "burnt" in the oven but the crust could have been a little crisper. The pepperoni slices were well charred and my overall impression was a pretty solid pizza. There was enough leftovers to make an entire other meal the next day (for my lunch). We were in the area for business and decided to stop by cause it had a real brick pizza oven. The service was polite and friendly but that was where the positive review ends. The person who took our order did not speak or understand English hardly at all. We repeated our order multiple times and even pointed to the items we wanted on their menu. She had to come back to ask again what our order was about 5 minutes later despite writing it down. I ordered the smoked wings and an "old world margherita" pizza and my partner ordered the "Fungus Amungus" pizza and we got an order of the cheesy bread. My pizza was correct but had barely any cheese on it at all and one wilted basil leaf. My partner received a NY style pizza. We informed the waitress that it was not the correct pizza and we wanted the correct one. She took the NY one back and added mushrooms to it instead of making the correct pizza and then told us she wouldn't charge us for the Fungus Amungus pizza. I said we will pay for the Fungus Amungus pizza if she will bring it out but we were not paying for the NY pizza as we did not order it. We asked again for the correct pizza to be made as we did not want the NY pizza. She left the table and never returned. We waited for 10 minutes and they never started another pizza so we figured we were never going to get the correct pizza so we tried both pizzas. They were bland and had a sweet marinara sauce instead of actual pizza sauce. The cheese was rubbery and the crust was burnt on the edges and limp in the center of personal 8" pizzas. The cheesy bread came out at the size of a regular pizza at 12" across. It was not what was posted in the picture on their website at all. It had a ocean of grease gathered on top and over a dozen napkins later was finally manageable. Again it was bland with the rubbery cheese and you wouldn't even notice it had a crust if not for the few edges not drenched in grease. The "smoked" wings are slightly smoky flavored but they came out in a few minutes so certainly are not smoked. There was no real flavor to them though they were supposed to have a dry rub. They tasted deep fried and tossed with some liquid smoke. I got a pitcher of iced tea and was charged $12 for what amounted to 2 1/2 glasses of tea. The cost per drink is $3 and there are no free refills. We couldn't eat most of the cheesy bread due to the taste and texture and threw out the leftover pizza once back home. The quality of all the food was severely lacking for the exorbitant prices they charged. This place may have been great in the past but now it is not worth mentioning except as a place to avoid and to warn others about. It's a shame, cause that brick pizza oven could make great pizza if the staff was competent and used quality ingredients. I've had bar pizzas and wings that are 100X better than this place. Plus the bar bathrooms were cleaner. Next time we are in Carson for business we will find someplace else to dine. Waste of $70 and our time. read more

I'm from New Jersey and it's difficult to find a good gluten free pizza. I went on Grubhub searching and found Flat Earth Pizza. I wish they would open one at the Jersey Shore. Had a nice thin crust, no aftertaste. Piled high with my favorite toppings. My only thing, it was small and a little pricey. When we entered the restaurant Brandon charged out to greet us and introduce himself. Upon determining that we were new, he stopped and explained everything in detail for us. Once we decided on pizza and a starter, he proceeded to help us design our own meal. WOW! Being our first visit we simply ordered a 16" NY style half pepperoni, half smoked chicken and an order of smoked wings. I want to mention these smoked chicken wings and how heavenly they are. We choose the Whiskey BBQ sauce (but I have heard great things about the pesto). I have officially fallen in love with an appetizer. Thanks a lot, Brandon. Another food addiction. I know a little about the NY brick pizza and this is as good as your going to find. The very best pepperoni I've had since moving here. Just the right amount of oil and flavour from the meat. I can't say enough about the smoked chicken. Not a heavy, overdone drawn out smoking (where the taste appears "forced"). A very pleasant, mild smoking that left me wanting more. I'll go as far as saying that I craved more of this chicken. Even after baking it's not dried out. This will end up on every brick oven pie I order-for life. The crust was amazing. Not huge and doughy or hard and crunchy. Picture that wonderful happy medium and that's what we got from the crew at Flat Earth Pizza. Back to Brandon. We were originally dining in. We were even served our drinks and began taking in the atmosphere of all the various pictures in the restaurant. That's when our son notifies us of an excruciating tooth ache. Stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad I did. Lots of seating, friendly staff, great prices. We got an XL New York style with pepperoni and pineapple (yes, pineapple belongs on pizza). I've honestly never eaten New York style pizza and I was very impressed. This is, hands down, one of the best pizza I've ever had. Shelly, the owner, was our waitress and she was super sweet, funny, and attentive. She even pointed us in the direction of another local business so it was cool to see her support others. Cost of just under $25 for a specialty 50/50 pizza. We ordered the Bambino and the Cosentino. Toppings- good combos but overall on the soggy side. Would have loved crispier topping but these fell flat and peppers were mushy. Crust- Ok, crispy on the edges. Not burnt but unfortunately not flavorful. Could be improved with some olive oil and garlic on the edges. Cheese- Decent quality cheese. Sauce- my compliant is here. No sauce on either side so it was thin, a bit soggy, and missing on flavor. Carson City's latest pizza place is a winner! They promised old world NY style and as a jaded former NY pizza chef, I usually find that to be a bold statement. However, in this case it is more hit than miss. I ordered a regular old world style with sliced mozzarella and fresh basil. Pretty much my default for a NY (style) pie. The crust was slightly thicker and a bit doughier than I prefer, but was still legit. I like my sauce a bit sweeter but this had a more savory, yet not bitter taste. There was probably a bt too much of it which is something the chef needs to watch as it can sog down a larger pie and give you a "soup sandwich" texture. The cheese was perfect, not processed and I would not be surprised if it was made in house (I used to make mozzarella by hand when I was 13 in a pizza shop).. This will be my go-to pizza place in cartoon city! Will try the salads next time read more

No Plum tomatoes as described in the menu online, mozzarella barely there is "sliced" and the basil? A garnish only. Again see pictures. Called and the gal kept arguing with me that it's plum tomato sauce.... not tomatoes... this picture was taken today. You decide. When you say "fresh mozzarella" I expect truly fresh mozzarella....when you say tomatoes, I expect tomatoes, when you say basil, I expect it. Okay so this was my first time here and I will be coming back. I initially visited with a friend who is a flat earthier and was intrigued by the name, I'm just a pizza eater so I came for the food! We got an xl cheese pizza New York style , his choice ( I normally prefer meat and veggies but I let him have this one). It was really good, I enjoy the authentic over brick crust and the sauce was very rich and flavorful. Also a bonus, Stella Artois is my favorite beer and I love when it is served in the correct glass ha. And they offer happy hour. Will be visiting again, but I would like to try a variety of pizzas and it's great that they off a 4 corners pizza allowing you to try 4 separate specialties. The bottom and the crust was overly burned and there was hardly any sauce or toppings on the new Hawaiian they have. Absolutely no flavor. Super disappointed for a $30 pizza, come on!
