I have been here 3 times. One of the times was because they forgot too put the diff fluid in so i had to go back for them to fix that. Why im writting a review today is because I went in and I was hearing a rattling noise in the front of my truck. I also notice one of my front diff seals was leaking a little. So I asked if they could replace that as well. I also metioned my parking break not fuctioning properly but knew that it would be hard to fix. The pedal needs to be removed and it has rivets so they need to drilled out.They said they would do it if I sorced the part. I declined. After that, They told me that both of the seals on the front diff need to be changed. I said okay, they said included with that i would get a front diff service. When i went to go pick up my truck the next day. Im told that the work is done and everything is good to go. I pay my $960! and go on my way. Come to find out. Only one diff seal got change you can clearly tell no work was done to one side. Also if you look at the bolt for the diff fluid it looks like it didn't even get touched. I feel as so, yeah people act nice and act like they will take care of you but you can never trust anyone fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me fool me three times? naw not getting fooled again ;) In the picture where you see orange that's one side of the diff that I believe they changed the seal. If you look on that side you can see fluid, clips replaced, bushings shifted and looks visibly different and worked on. If you look at the other side, it looks exactly the same as when I brought it in. I also looked up a video on how you would change those seals and looking over my truck versus what I saw doesn't add up. Also, what I would like to mention is that they didn't fix the rattle that I told them about. And they also scratched the door on my truck. So my advice is if you need a quick fix and you can't find anywhere else I guess go here, but if you want honest people for a good price go to the east side. read more

So don't go here they overcharge like crazy. I need a thermostat for my Dodge charger SRT 392 2017 it's $25 for the part. You don't need to lift it up on a Jack at all. You can actually just do it by lifting the hood And the thermostat. The whole job should be about 200 to 300 max. They tried to charge me $700 saying that they need to change all these things and all the butt and it's not even that difficult as I have family members who are mechanics throughout of state They told me to stay away from places like this. I will never go here for anything they price gouge like crazy it's a couple buttons on A to reprogram something. It's not that serious labor don't go here. read more

Quantum got back to me about my last review on 12/07/2023. They weren't happy with a negative review. I said I'd give them one more chance and if they corrected the whining noise in my power steering after they replaced a hose (total cost $550. for a steering hose), That I would take the poor review down. I took it back to Quantum on 1/11 and the manager had the car for about an hour. He then informed me that my Rack and Pinion was leaking and that my power steering pump was shot. He told me the repair would cost me $2900. WTF......the first question I had for him was "Why wasn't I told about these other problems when I was there a month earlier? Same car and same power steering but now both the rack and pinion and power steering was shot. You be the judge. Sounds really fishy. I looked under the car, and found NO LEAKS. It's a 2005 Lexus and in pristine condition and only 84,000 miles. You be the judge, I tried twice with them and I'm very disappointed as anyone else would be. I will not be returning to Quantum along with a friend who used them before, for the same reasons. I live in Sun City and "we" all talk about the lousy customer service they give to seniors. read more

Nice and friendly but I don't believe they are true to their profession. Paid 5,000.00 for new 2 catalytic converters. O2 sensor, spark plus, water pump for Chevy Equinox Car ran good for 2 days. Still had problems. Took car back and more problems occured that interesting enough was not under warranty with parts they replaced previously. Seems like they were trying to find other issues to charge me. Car was never fix. Took car to a different Auto shop East Tropicana and the owner fix all the problems and car now runs great. Came into this plaza for a smog check at a neighboring business, only to find them closed. This garage advertised a $15 starting rate for smog, so in we went. They got to our car fairly quickly, and they have both indoor and outdoor waiting spaces- inside has phone chargers and a water dispenser, which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and fast. In addition to our passing smog check, they also checked out the car and let us know of a few issues with tires and a leaking gasket, no pressure to upsell just an estimate of their costs, which was a nice change compared to other places. They got to work on it and the next day they had finished everything!! Several repairs! They also stayed in contact with my son the entire time. They even adjusted his bumper that was sticking out and a couple other things that was purely love for their customer. Lost faith and trust in them. My vehicle wouldn't start. I suspected something electrical (battery, starter and/or connections in between. After the, "diagnosis", I was told the starter would need to be replaced. And I approved the work. The vehicle still needed to be jumped to start after the starter replacement. It was then they told me the battery would need to be replaced. I declined because it was only two years old. And I could replace it myself. After getting it home, I discovered the the negative battery bolt was no longer in place. Instead, a crowned hex nut (used as a spacer) and a hex bolt were now in its place. On the positive terminal was some kind of bushing (also used as a spacer) and a hex bolt. Neither set-up offered much surface contact with the leads to conduct a heavy amp draw at start up. See the pictures below. It was truly pathetic. I took the battery to an auto parts store to check it and buy a new one if it was, indeed, dead. It wasn't. So, the Quantum rep was trying to get to me to buy a battery from them to replace a perfectly good one. After thoroughly cleaning the battery connections and installing the proper hardware, the vehicle started instantly with zero hesitation. Let's sum this up: They told me I needed a new battery, preferably from them, without testing the existing battery. The technician's service standards absolutely sucked and should be an embarrassment to the company. Conductivity of the connections obviously weren't checked. It makes me wonder if I needed that starter after all. read more

I just got back today from having my car worked on. I brought it in for a brake job, power steering whining, and front end wobbling at highway speeds. They replaced the brakes and so far it seems to be a good job. They never addressed the power steering whining - said they don't hear anything unusual, however it still clearly whines. Also, I still have the highway speed wobbling even though they replaced 2 suspension components that did nothing for the original problem. On another note, their communication is not very good. I called to get status on my vehicle repairs and they said they would call right back. Never called. I had to go into the shop in person to get answers from the manager/owner. Lastly, they replaced a tie rod that was not on the original estimate that came out to almost $300, but they never called me to get my authorization. And the original estimate quantities of parts to replaced did not match what they actually replaced (brake rotors). Of course they wanted to be paid for everything at checkout time. I will give them some credit for working on the final cost even though all of the problems were 100% their own negligence. To the owner - I would suggest better communication with your customers and reviewing your estimates for accuracy. Bronik, their mechanic, is a nice guy who was put in a tough spot by management's lack of communication One great thing about this place is that they provided me with a loaner car for the night because they couldn't finish on time due to having to order the tie rod that they never told me they were going to replace. read more

Very pleased with their work, their customer service and their communication. My brakes totally went out on my 2006 Toyota forerunner. They towed it into the shop late in the afternoon and by the next day called with an estimate of what the cost would be to repair. I went ahead and approved it and they completed that work and we also had them look the vehicle over to see if there was anything else that should be worked on at the time when I had an approved some struts and shocks this is not a surprise as it is an older vehicle. Bait and switch at its best here. Did an online request for a quote for an oil change and some additional maintenance items. The quote was about 100 dollars. It seemed a little on the low side so I Sent a reply asking if that was for everything. The answer was yes. Well guess what. I went there and "surprise", it will be about 300 dollars. Well I showed the e-mail and I was told that the price quoted was just the oil change. Seems like a quote can be off by hundreds of dollars. I left there feeling disrespected. First and last time for these guys. P.S. went to Wal-Mart at Centennial and got the oil change (full synthetic) for 47.99 and only waited about 30 minutes. read more

I have the AC system that requires the new refrigerant because my AC wasn't blowing cold air. I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and apparently they have a track record of reliability issues. After sending my Jeep from another mechanic previously, the tech at Quantum diagnosed my AC system and told me my compressor needed to be replaced. At a dealership it would have cost me 3 grand but it cost me a little over a thousand at Quantum. Big difference in price and they really are super caring and budget conscious. I decided to come here because of the great reviews. I just needed maintenance done on my truck. I walked in to just get an estimate. The first red flag was a sign in the office that says you get a discount on labor for 5 star reviews Yelp, google, etc. The second and final red flag is that they wouldn't give me an estimate on the maintenance. They said that they would have a number for new once they took a look at it. Taking some time to let anyone know that there is a trustworthy auto shop that does great work in Summerlin called Quantum Mechanics. These mechanics finished a huge job in a timely manner and got me back on the road in the same day. Even offered me a ride back to my house while they work on the vehicle. I was visiting my Mother from out of town over Mother's day week. My Mother is 89 years old and usually brings her car to the Dealer as that is what she is used to. Now that I found her Rico at Quantum, the Dealer and their exorbitant prices will now be a thing of the past. Rico and his friendly crew took care of all the issues that needed to be taken care of. Rico's customer service is great. I came here for a DMV safety inspection and he got my truck taken care of. Emergency brakes were gone, and front windshield was cracked. He had the window replaced and emergency brakes repaired within a couple of hours. **a few weeks later, I had questions about my service brakes and he had me bring it in and checked them for me with no issues. It's extremely difficult to find honest mechanic shops, especially in Las Vegas. My Class B RV van was having some problems. It wasn't riding smoothly engine wise or suspension wise. Rico and his team are absolutely awesome. Because my vehicle is so old, they didn't actually have the proper testing equipment for the computer (neither did the manufacturer!) But the mechanic there took it for a test ride, free of charge, to help me see what was wrong. They figured out the problem and they did the work at a very fair price. They worked in a very fast manner and got it done. When I went to pick the car up, it seemed the problem wasn't fully fixed. So I called up Rico, told him, and he told me he'd contact a friend of his that worked on older vehicles like mine to find out the exact problem. Just like that, he took found it out. I sent it back to them and they fixed it for good this time. They didn't charge me for the labour, just for the part. When I went to pick up the van, he even had me test drive it to make sure I was satisfied. The cherry on top of all of this , he called me a few days later to follow up on the van's performance. Rico knew I was traveling around the country and wanted to make sure the car was safe and OK to do so. I so appreciate him and his team.
