Came into this plaza for a smog check at a neighboring business, only to find them closed. This garage advertised a $15 starting rate for smog, so in we went. They got to our car fairly quickly, and they have both indoor and outdoor waiting spaces- inside has phone chargers and a water dispenser, which was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and fast. In addition to our passing smog check, they also checked out the car and let us know of a few issues with tires and a leaking gasket, no pressure to upsell just an estimate of their costs, which was a nice change compared to other places. NOTE: This garage and the one next door (ZipZap) are same ownership/management.

I called several mechanics to get estimates for repairs for my sons car. This shop had the best price so we dropped the car off before closing. They got to work on it and the next day they had finished everything!! Several repairs! They also stayed in contact with my son the entire time. They even adjusted his bumper that was sticking out and a couple other things that was purely love for their customer. Good mechanics have always been hard to find so this place is definitely our new mechanic! We'll be coming back for all our auto repair and service needs. The price got us in the door and the customer service turned us into long-term customers. Thank you Rico!!

Negative terminal with crowned hex nut.

Lost faith and trust in them. My vehicle wouldn't start. I suspected something electrical (battery, starter and/or connections in between. After the, "diagnosis", I was told the starter would need to be replaced. And I approved the work. The vehicle still needed to be jumped to start after the starter replacement. It was then they told me the battery would need to be replaced. I declined because it was only two years old. And I could replace it myself. After getting it home, I discovered the the negative battery bolt was no longer in place. Instead, a crowned hex nut (used as a spacer) and a hex bolt were now in its place. On the positive terminal was some kind of bushing (also used as a spacer) and a hex bolt. Neither set-up offered much surface contact with the leads to conduct a heavy amp draw at start up. See the pictures below. It was truly pathetic. I took the battery to an auto parts store to check it and buy a new one if it was, indeed, dead. It wasn't. So, the Quantum rep was trying to get to me to buy a battery from them to replace a perfectly good one. After thoroughly cleaning the battery connections and installing the proper hardware, the vehicle started instantly with zero hesitation. Let's sum this up: They told me I needed a new battery, preferably from them, without testing the existing battery. The technician's service standards absolutely sucked and should be an embarrassment to the company. Conductivity of the connections obviously weren't checked. It makes me wonder if I needed that starter after all.

Within minutes of putting in a request I started to receive quotes. In the end, it was not the price that sold me on LV Mobile Oil Change and Brakes but what Steven wrote on his price quote, it was the type of oil he was going to use for my vehicle: European specific oil blend. After a couple more text over the app, I made an appointment for Sunday. I received an appointment confirmation and a service call the morning of the appointment (nice touch on the call). Steven arrived on time and after asking him a couple of maintenance questions about my vehicle and future service needs, he went to work on the oil change. Oil change took about 20 minutes (way faster than any dealership or oil change garage). I also had him install a new cabin filter (for a small addition fee). Overall, very happy with the service, Steven is very professional and does a quality job. Will definitely use their service again.

My vehicle has 249,000 miles on it and was spitting coolant, so they sealed the leaks, installed a new water pump, and seemingly got me back on the road until I decided to buy another engine or a new car. The manager, Debra, is highly knowledgeable, honest, and on top of her game! She found an engine with 23,000 miles on it, including the catalytic converter, at an excellent price! The mechanic, Derek, gave me a ride to Walgreens, and Debra gave me a taco and offered me water during lunch. The entire staff was professional, pleasant, and went above and beyond across the board! Derek also showed me that my recently installed oil pan was leaking because my main mechanic used silicone instead of a gasket. My main mechanic is knowledgeable, but it opened my eyes to how his prices are so low because he goes with the most economical option instead of the best one. My main mechanic gave me a solid price on a new engine, but USA Auto beat him by $ 600.00 and offered more value with additional parts! The next day, I returned to USA Auto Service to have a new radiator installed and found that the gasket had blown. As Derek, who is highly knowledgeable, explained, they sealed up the leaks like they were supposed to, and once they did that, the weakest part went ( the engine). I already had oil in the coolant reservoir and a mess under the hood, so I pushed it to the limit. I was able to drive my car home by pulling over in spurts before it overheated, and it took me forever! I've been to this USA Auto location 3 times before and had a pleasant experience, but the new staff and manager have raised the pleasantness bar even higher. I plan to get a new engine because I love my car and hate having a car note. I will make the permanent switch to USA Auto because my former mechanic, although cheaper, has clearly been cutting corners to keep prices low, and I have already found myself replacing parts that I supposedly had installed by my old mechanic. When I mentioned it to Derek, he said the thermostat he pulled out wasn't new, and I saw with my own eyes that my old mechanic used silicone instead of a gasket on my oil pan, which didn't properly seal it. Derek said he would use silicone for his personal car but never use silicone to seal an oil pan at a business. Located on the corner of Smoke Ranch and Decatur, they offer auto financing, a cool air conditioner, and a clean restroom, unlike your typical mechanic shop. This USA Auto location is easily the best I have been to, and I will make it my home location. I highly recommend this location!

I drove to several well known places including Carmax, Pep Boys and Jiffy Lube trying to get it fixed. One place told me they have an appointment for August 21! I saw Quick Lane on my way to one of those places and circled back. I met Brenda at the front desk and she was absolutely amazing! She had someone (Josh) take my car in right away. He asked me questions about when the problem started and what I was experiencing. He said he would start with a recharge to see if that would get my AC back up and running. He came back and broke the news to me gently that it wasn't working and that my compressor was bad and would need to be replaced. (One of the other places told me that too but the price they gave me was so ridiculous I left without even thinking twice about getting it done there). So, I talked with Brenda and made arrangements to have it done the next day. She quoted me a price that was $600.00 less than one of the other places mentioned above who were throwing in a wheel alignment, tire rotation and a bunch of other things I didn't need (probably try to justify their price). I didn't get any of that at Quick Lane. They were straightforward, honest, and fair. And not just with me. I waited there while they fixed my car so I got to see them work with a variety of customers and they were so kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. My AC is working so good I have to keep turning it down! They are now our Las Vegas car repair shop from this day forward! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I understand shops get busy, this location is "first come first served", and I don't expect anyone to magically make time appear or drop everything to check out the new car. I don't work there and I walked in, so I have no idea what things look like behind the scenes. The issue wasn't that they were busy, it was that the expectations set didn't reflect reality. After walking around the area for about an hour after drop-off, I returned and noticed my vehicle was still sitting in the same guest parking spot at the side of the building where I had left it. By 11:00 (after waiting over 90 minutes/nearly two hours from drop-off) with no phone call update and no apparent movement of the vehicle, I went to the front desk to ask about the status. Shortly after I asked, the vehicle was brought into the shop and I was assured the diagnostic would take "about" 30 minutes. It ended up taking closer to 50 before I got up again to ask about an update. My main frustration was not the diagnosis itself, but the communication and expectations throughout the process. Everyone I interacted with was polite and reasonable, but I was given the same optimistic timeline despite the shop evidently being backed up. If I had been told up front that it would be hours before the vehicle would be moved, let alone looked at, I would have planned my morning differently. I do want to clarify that the issue wasn't attitude or service, it was a lack of clear and realistic communication. Better coordination internally and more honest timelines for customers would make a big difference.

And there is enough no to say I would not use him again nor would I recommend. Let me explain. In Sept 2021 I needed an oil change quick. I was in town for a few days for a wedding and staying at an airbnb. Eddie had 5 star reviews, his prices were comparable to brick and motor shops, and he was mobile. He was responsive, on time and told me he would top off my fluids no charge. Now the bad. I go back inside and after about an hr he texts me and said he's going to run to the parts store and get me a new cabin filter. Mind you, he TELLS me. It wasn't an ask. Well I'm well versed in how easy it is to change a cabin filter and I already had a spare in my car. As he's getting into his car, I tell him don't worry about it I have a spare and I can just put it in myself. I for sure said that. He offers to put it in and I honestly thought he was doing it complementary. It's a job that takes like 2 mins no joke. Plus he already had just looked at my filter without me even asking! So I say ok. 5 mins elapse and he hands me the bill. Guy charges me $15 for labor. I'm a little shocked but I don't say anything and just pay it. Later I text him and I say I got an issue with that. He tries to gaslight me by saying they always charge for that at a shop. Nah man. At the shop they always ask you IN WRITING if you authorize it and disclose the price. I straight up got hustled. To his credit, Eddie offers to credit me the difference next time I use him. Um ok. Like just Venmo me bro. Fast forward to last week and I need another oil change. I hit up Eddie and see if he'll honor the discount. He does. But of course he still has the text messages. Charges me $110 now. Ok I see you. Oil prices have gone up he says. So I call around and 2 shops quote me $80, another $95. Mind you I was going to just let this go and leave my previous (generous) 4 star review. But today I go and change my cabin filter. Yes it takes me 5 mins. But what do I see?!? A crumpled bent filter that was just jammed in there. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!
