I found it in a google search for brunch near me. Turns out that I pass this all the time. There is no sign except for "Diner" out front. I would have checked it out sooner if there was anything that stood out. We were greeted with a smile and were sat at a table. We requested a booth and it was no problem at all. The atmosphere is pleasant and reminds me of the bagel joints that used to be in S FL where I grew up. It looked clean. The booth seat was torn and I was falling into an abyss but I changed to the other side and that seat was good! Our server was very attentive. The order didn't take too long. I ordered the crunchy French toast. It was good but not the rage I expected based on other reviews. I didn't realize it would be deep fried or I wouldn't have ordered it. My husband had eggs over well, pancakes and potatoes. No complaints. I would come here again to try other items on the menu such as the cinnamon bun but they should really get an attractive sign out front. read more

Solid breakfast spot. Went in a busy Sunday morning but were seated quickly. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was very good but the hash browns were the star of the plate for me. They were cooked well and had a very good seasoning. Service was attentive and friendly. read more

Food was delicious! Hostess was beyond friendly! They were out of the fried steak by the time we arrived but the waitress recommended a pastrami hash that my husband loved. We went for breakfast today because trying local new restaurants is always a fun thing. I tried one of the chefs specialties, the crunchy French toast. They were very good. My wife had a more traditional two eggs, hash browns and bacon. Also well prepared and delicious. Almost all the food is local grown or homemade right there. The staff was courteous, efficient and super friendly. We will be back soon. read more

I'll never step foot in this place again I watched them ask a man with cancer to leave and all he wanted was to eat breakfast. He was not homeless . I talked to him in the parking lot and he told me that one of the waitresses did not like him because he's a little out spoken. When he walked in I watched some of the workers say hi to him by name and took him to a table and the owner came and for no reason ask him to leave. This man was obviously sick with cancer but he told me he just wanted to go to the flat tire because the food was good and wanted at eat there one more time . Forgiveness is bliss people! but this owner is not about all that . Shame on you flat Tire Diner. I know there are two sides to every story and i also know no body's perfect and I know some people are just thin skinned And I find it hard to believe that it was that bad that made you take the action you took. go to YouTube and take a look at this man talk about your Establishment he doesn't look to much of a troublemaker. read more

This place is amazing! I've been a few times now and from the homemade cinnamon roll add on to your standard breakfast (my favorite is the Hayden's eggs Benedict), to the fresh salads and the capicola and goat cheese quesadilla to finishing up with a slice of scratch made apple pie you won't leave disappointed OR hungry. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating which just makes this place that much better. Biggest piece of advice...come early so that you can nab one of the great cinnamon rolls! read more

Would be nice to have more soup choices, Tennessee seems to offer two, Chicken Tortilla & Tomato, it's a theme here in Nashville. Baked goods are great, but they sell out quick. Excellent food in a well-run operation with friendly efficient staff, fresh ingredients and good value. The portions are generous but the food is not greasy or overly sweet: no shortcuts here. Quite the unassuming place when you pull into the parking lot but truly a cute little diner when you get up close. Darling place! Great food too! We were seated right away and our server was at our table immediately. My husband ordered the reuben and I got the eggs with turkey sausage. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. The server was consistently filling our drinks and checking on us. The reuben was so big and had a bunch of fries! If we'd known, we probably would have just split it. I really enjoyed my breakfast food though! The homemade strawberry jam is to die for! Really fun place for breakfast. Still a lot of COVID awareness with masks and social distancing. We got there at 2:00, but never felt rushed. They were able to accommodate our gluten free needs with a fried egg hash skillet, omelets, and one last gluten free muffin which was big enough for all 3 of us. We tried the Flat Tire Diner at the insistence of our neighbor who goes all the time. Decided to try it today for breakfast. Restaurant was busy and they followed the COVID guidelines. We sat at the bar, just like an old soda shop bar. It was nice, had friendly service, the server was attentive, and dressed up like Waldo from Where's Waldo (it's Halloween ). The best part about this place is the food. I had the Cali Omelette which had spinach, bacon, cheeses, and avocado. It was excellent. My son had pancakes and mentioned several how much he loved them. My wife got scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a homemade cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing. She absolutely loved it. The one question I always ask anyone we eat with, that is like a litmus test, and let's me know if they really liked it is "would you have it again?" We all said absolutely yes!! My friend and I stopped in for lunch one afternoon on a Sunday. I had the Steak & Asiago Sandwich with a side Carsar salad and everything had SO much flavor. The amount of steak on the sandwich was perfect and because I wasn't a fan of the horseradish sauce that comes with the sandwich I substituted it out for garlics aoli and I was in heaven. Will definitely get this exact mea again. My friend went the brunch route and got the Hayden's Egg's Benedict which she said was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our server was quite pleasant despite how busy he was running around the place--that's the only reason I gave this 4/5 stars was due to infrequent check-ins which definitely wasn't our server's problem but a staffing issue instead. They had the tables placed appropriately apart to accommodate the pandemic which was nice, too. Overall, nice experience and would eat here again. read more
