Very tasty whole fish sea bass

Amazing amazing amazing , what a nice surprise ! Found it on yelp and decided to give it a try and glad we did Service was excellent , very attentive and friendly. We got the calamari , bread and butter , and fried octopus appetizers, 10/10 all around , for main course we tried the whole fish sea bass and white shrimp pasta , excellent and hands down 10/10 , highly recommend and will be back next time we are in town

    Wood fired sea bass. Amazing.

4 stars but barely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fleetwood was not at all what I was expecting. It's possible I didn't research it enough but I thought it would be a swanky restaurant like a few others near it in Calistoga. When I arrived I was shocked to see it is a hotel restaurant in the lobby of the hotel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since it's a Hyatt it's not terrible, it just very much feels like a hotel restaurant with tables set out on the floor right next to the main lobby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was fine but another shocker was the menu - it only seemed to have about 12 things total on it. I was expecting a much larger menu. Fortunately, the food was good. I enjoyed 2 cocktails that were very tasty. The grilled Hearts of Romaine were ok. Nothing stood out but then it is a salad. The wood fire sea bass was bomb. It was marinated in an Indian spice blend of some kind so it had a really lovely flavor profile that was spicy but not overwhelming (almost like a tandoori version). Laura had a pizza and it was good. Not the best I've had but on par for good food in Napa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you aren't overly fussy about ambience, can handle a very limited menu and aren't looking for fine dining Fleetwood may fit the bill, I just don't think it's destination worthy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Second time coming here but only now writing the review. This place has amazing food and super convenient that it's at the same hotel we stayed at. They offer a variety of American food from pizzas to pastas and more. I went with the mushroom pizza and it was fantastic! It had lots of great mushroom pieces and chunks of parmesan. It's a bit thicker on the crust but everything was delicious

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fleetwood Calistoga, and overall, it was an enjoyable experience that left a positive impression. Calamari: To start, I ordered the calamari, and it was a standout dish. The calamari was perfectly tender, not the least bit rubbery, and was fried to golden perfection. It was accompanied by a zesty dipping sauce that complemented the flavors beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it a great appetizer for sharing or for a hearty start to the meal. Chicken Breast with Au Jus: For the main course, I opted for the chicken breast with au jus. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, served with a flavorful au jus that added an extra layer of richness to the dish. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and it came with a side of seasonal vegetables that were cooked just right--crispy and fresh. However, I wish the dish had a bit more depth in terms of flavor; while it was good, it didn't quite reach the level of excitement I was hoping for. Shrimp Pasta: The shrimp pasta was another highlight of the meal. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and they paired wonderfully with the al dente pasta. The dish had a light, garlic-infused sauce that was both aromatic and flavorful without being overwhelming. It struck a nice balance and left me wanting more with each bite. Definitely a must-try for pasta lovers! Churros: To finish, we couldn't resist trying the churros for dessert. They were delightful--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, dusted with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. Served with a chocolate dipping sauce, they were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. I only wished for a tad more chocolate sauce, but it was a minor detail in an otherwise satisfying dessert. Atmosphere and Service: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of Fleetwood Calistoga was warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that made it a cozy place to enjoy a meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was attentive but not intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed without rushing us through our dining experience. Final Thoughts: Overall, Fleetwood Calistoga offers a lovely dining experience with a menu that caters to diverse tastes. While some dishes could use a touch more seasoning or innovation, the quality of ingredients and the skill in preparation are apparent. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a relaxed night out with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I certainly look forward to returning to try more of their offerings!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute newly renovated restaurant located just outside of the downtown Calistoga area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food tasted good and fresh, service was great and timely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and in the evening time string lights beautifully light back the patio area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Tiramisu, pistachio gelato, and strawberry mojito.

The beet salad, your wood fired pizzas, and pistachio gelato are wonderful. We loved the live music and chill dogs around the patio. Service was also friendly and lovely.

This beets salad is sooo good.

    Ask the Community - Fleetwood

    Is the restaurant dog friendly?

Absolutely, we love our four-legged friends! 🐾 Our outdoor patio is pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companions along for a great time!

    Are there vegan options?

Absolutely! My husband is a vegan and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Hi, Can I bring a bottle of wine? Any corkage fees?

Sure you can bring a bottle as most restaurants in the wine country allow it but they do usually charge a fee, what the fee is I am not sure. The restaurant is fabulous.

    Walk ins or reservations only?

We made a reservation, but they talk walk ins. It's a small place, and since it's in a busy area, it tends to be packed.

Coming from an Italian family, I can be pretty picky about Italian food and the basics they serve like their red sauces. First thing I noticed was that they had a really great red sauce here! I ordered the Orecchiette Con Salsiccia, and for how simple of a dish it is...it was delicious. The sausage was super high quality and the garlic sauce was so flavorful! The food also came out super quickly which was a great bonus. I'm also not necessarily a fan of ordering dessert at a restaurant because often times it's frozen or something, but when I found out they make their desserts in house I was hooked. We tried their chocolate cake and it was very yummy! I loved the warm sauce and the fruit slices on the side. This is clearly a very well loved locals spot that has been here as long as it has for a good reason. This is a no-frills, good food and great people type of restaurant. The risotto was the best dish of the night! 3. Halibut was dried out, but flavorful. 4. Panna cotta dessert was not enjoyable. The use of savory stone fruit flavors did not work with chocolate. Would not recommend, but, again, the service was wonderful!

The Caesar salad was surprisingly lemony and refreshing. Everyone loved the pizza for the small crispy pepperonis and hot honey flavor. And the pasta was simply delicious. The gelato was the most interesting item of the meal -- they brought it out for a birthday we were celebrating. It had pine nut oil on top, which gave it a distinct popcorn / kettle corn taste. It was the kind of dessert you try knowing that you'll likely never get anything like it anywhere else!

They are so, sooo good together! Please make sure to order them as a pair! Chopped Salad- loved the combo of bitter radicchio and crisp lettuce tossed in a light dressing with local Rancho Gordo heirloom beans. Corona Beans- giant, super creamy white beans with garlic and capers. This was an instant favorite at our table! Farm Raabs- tender, charred broccolini with a great wood-fired flavor. I just had to pick out the pancetta but they were delicious. Pastas (Mezze Rigatoni & Agnolotti)- both dishes contain pork/meat so I passed but the rest of the table absolutely loved them. Lamb Sausage Pizza- another dish I skipped due to the meat, but everyone else devoured it! The hospitality was wonderful and our server was so accommodating and attentive with our group. To top off a great night, they brought out three birthday gelato desserts for the celebrants in our group. I loved the vibrant energy and open kitchen concept. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I went in here after a hike at the Robert Lewis Stevenson Park, which is right across the street. We ordered a large pizza with a couple extra toppings the Mediterranean pizza to be exact when we got the pizza exactly 0 of the Mediterranean toppings according to their own menu the Mediterranean pizza comes with artichoke , marinated carrots, and other veggies, None of that was on there when I pointed this out to the waiter, he informed me that he would happily take it off the bill, and so I went and sat back down and continued the meal at the end of the meal. I went to pay the bill and turns out he for whatever reason he couldn't take it off the bill when I asked for the manager he said there was no manager available then, to add insult to injury, the prices on the menu were 50% less than the price on the bill keep in mind there's no waiters at this restaurant you have to go up to the counter to order everything this place charge me some $75 for food that I didn't even receive when I asked for he basically just told me that I should just deal with it. I sat there for 20 minutes and talk to the guy and to get the owner or the manager nothing could happen so finally I just called the local police department trying to figure out what to do and the local PD told me that essentially it was a civil matter. And that if they had not updated their menu, I was not obligated to pay some inflated made up price that they just pulled thin air. Which I agree with, no other establishment in America can you just advertise one price and then suddenly start charging customers a higher price so I left and I left my phone number with instructions that a manager should call me so that we could have a discussion and figure out an amicable way forward. I left my phone number.. the next day. Allegedly the "owner" calls me and tries to tell me that I dashed and that his poor employee was gonna have to cover a $75 bill or some shit... keep in mind. We had no alcoholic drinks, no waiter to take our order, and the place was chaos. We had one pizza that did not have the toppings on it that we actually ordered. Tried to explain this to the "owner" we repeatedly interrupted and spoke over me. Terrible food and worse customer service! Avoid at all costs!
