Most boring, overcooked and bland $22 Burger I think I have ever had! Good thing there was ketchup and mustard to put on it. I think I bought it because it comes with a model bakery bun, but it was at least a day old if not more it was falling apart in my hands and I've been eating model bakery buns since they've been in business. No flavor whatsoever! NONE!! Fries were fantastic and hot with fresh oil. I got there for happy hour 5:15p Happy hour is Monday-Thursday 4-6 pm) happy hour beer is $6 But Carlis charged me $9 When I get my bill I asked Carlos(bartender) why $9$ instead of $6?? I gave him a $20 and 2 ten dollar bills ($40) he comes back with a five dollar bill? So and instead of adjusting my check to $30 he gave me back $5 instead of $10 So Carlos just don't forget you got a $10 tip my last visit!!! but the burger left an awful taste in my mouth and very disappointing again for $22....in & out burger would have been an upgrade hate to say it but it's true!!! Being locals and senior managers, one for a hotel and the other for a restaurant we were really wanting our first experince to be a fabulous one. We both love to send our guests to other establishments, especially when we are pleased. When we entered on 6-26 at 4:15pm we approached the hostess stand and said hello, can we get a table for 2. Both young ladies said we don't open till 5pm. I said your website says 4pm and she said well that's for social hour. I said well can we have a drink at the bar, she then asked the bartender if he was open. He said yes. We ordered and ice tea and a cider. Both of the young ladies went into a room behind the hostess desk. 5 minutes later a gentleman comes from the that room, with the door. I said excuse me, are you the MOD, he said what, I said are you the MOD, he again said what. I then said the Manager on Duty. He said yes I am. I said I wanted to point out on your website it says your "restaurant says open". He looked at me as if I were from another planet, confused. He gave me no explanation. He was pretty unresponsive. Non apologetic about the lack of their incorrect website hours. Not very friendly and I was hoping Since the hostesses/waitresses were rude he would be helpful. Not at all. I was shocked that he is in this role, we lead our team by example and I can see why these young ladies could care less about the guests experince. The ladies sat at a table while we waited. Guests came up to ask them a question and they sat there on the clock, giving no assistance. One guest said do you have an elevator to one young man and he said no we don't have one. When the guests walked off he asked the two ladies. Their response was next time have them go to the front desk. They lack training, hospitality, and the eagerness to help your guests. Everything from service to drinks to all the food: apps to dessert was amazing! We are off the restaurant week menu and the portions were extremely generous. We had the sopa de ajo was amazing. I had grilled chicken breast which was cooked perfectly. It was served with some balsamic marinated onions which were so good I could eat an entire plate for dinner. Dessert was a divine chocolate mousse/ cake that was very rich and the perfect end to a meal. Our server Gisselle was amazing. Fleetwood has indoor seating and outdoor seating. My favorite place is the outside seating! Beautiful serene patio area out behind the restaurant. They have a great selection of wines and cocktails. As a local, I love going here and either dining in or getting to go food. The food is very good and sometimes quite creative too. The staff is all very charming and the ambience is both warm and hip Some really nice wines on the wine list however, it would be nice for us locals if they had some that were more moderately priced It's always a bummer when your wine bill is the same as the food bill which is ridiculous. In the winter dining indoors or at the bar is fabulous and there are a few better places in the Napa Valley, then outdoors at Fleetwood during the summer If you are a guest here, don't worry about the fact that the restaurant is in a hotel it's not operated like that and it sure doesn't feel like that. Fleetwoods has a casual ambience, with a friendly staff.....BUT there's a $30 dollar corkage!!.......that they bury in the fine print. Come on! There are only a handful of ritzy restuarants that insist on ripping thier patrons off with that kind of corkage fee. Fleetwood should NOT want to be amongst them. read more

During a recent trip to San Francisco to reunite with friends between COVID surges, we were lucky enough to get to travel up to Calistoga in the Napa Valley. While there, we had dinner one night at Fleetwood and it was a GREAT meal!!! Fantastic, friendly service! YUMMY drink selections and delicious meals & sides! Don't overlook adding veggie sides of roasted cauliflower and/or Brussels sprouts if they're offered -- these almost stole the show! Even the KID among us ate some of both!!! I got the roasted salmon and it was almost too pretty to eat ... *almost!* :) Glad I overcame that -- cooked to perfection ... flaky and moist and wanted to lick the platter clean! When we're in the area again, we'll be back without a doubt! Prices for everything were reasonable -- esp considering it's the Napa Valley! read more

After what feels like years of saying we'd give this a try we finally made it to Fleetwood and we were pleasantly surprised. Don't let the old converted motor lodge fool you. The moment you step into the restaurant you'll feel a much more contemporary almost urban ambiance. We've eaten here twice now and both time the food was excellent. Simple, shareable and delicious. We've had some incredible salads and both pizza's we've ordered were fantastic. The service has been great, pleasant and not overly in your face. All in all a nice casual spot to grab a meal in Calistoga. Our only complaint, the hours. We've wanted to come several times but not opening until 5pm can be limiting, particularly for a spot that does pizza's. We'd love to be able to come more for apps and a quick bite after a day of wine tasting. read more

Had a wonderful dinner at Fleetwood last night. We were their last reservation on a very busy night. We wanted to sit outside but did not request it in the reservation and they couldn't accommodate when we arrived, so we sat inside close to the pizza ovens which made it a bit hot at times. We absolutely loved the food- we had: - Burrata w/ peaches (delicious and the toasted bread is to die for) - Gnocchi w/mushrooms side (gnocchi were light and fluffy; creamy sauce was very good) - Buccatini (very tasty tomato sauce with a light kick- the sausage was subtle but enough to complement the seafood) - Garganelli (mild and light creamy sauce; shrimp were fresh) My wife had wine and I tried the Pearfectini cocktail and really liked it; fresh and not too sweet. This place is a gem in Calistoga! The food is delicious and reasonable (on par with other places along Lincoln) and they offer wonderful cocktails, but what really makes this restaurant stand apart is its staff. Archie (at the bar), Jose (server) and the rest of the crew really go above & beyond, and the service is impeccable. Oh my goodness!! This is the BEST RESTAURANT in Calistoga!!! We went here for my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday dinner. Hands down some of the best service I've ever had!! Griselda was SUPERB!! She answered all of my questions! She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She made the meal even better than it could have been-so grateful for her!! And now the food! We started with the burrata with peaches and the best bread! The bread was toasted perfectly and I loved the olive oil on it! Then we had the swordfish special and the steak for our entrees. Both cooked perfectly and with great flavor. The gnocchi and the vegetables were also delicious! And when you think it couldn't get any better then we had dessert! Both the cannolis and the polenta cake. Both desserts were decadent!!! I loved the cherries with the cannolis. And the strawberries and amaretto cream and the crumbles were so so good with the polenta cake! Yummy!! The meal was so so INCREDIBLE!! I can't wait to bring all my friends the next time I visit!! The service was wonderful and the food was very flavorful. We had the calamari appetizer which was a very generous portion of calamari and red, yellow, and green bell peppers and onions. It was accompanied by a dipping sauce that had just the right amount of flavor so as not to overpower the calamari. We split the beet salad that had both red and yellow beets on a spring mix of greens with flavorful onions and fennel and goat cheese all mixed in a mild vinaigrette. Our main entree was the Hen of the Woods pizza. A wood fired pizza loaded with thyme, truffle fontal, and garlic oil and shaved Parmesan. It was delicious! Hmmmm...disappointed by my experience. Ordered the Garganelli pasta, nardello peppers, and the fried olives. No complaints about the peppers and olives but for an Italian restaurant I was extremely disappointed in the pasta dish--noodles were TOTALLY OVER COOKED and there hardly any sauce or fixings in it. They were limp and flavorless--my husband is also convinced that they served me fettuccine vs. Garganelli. The wine I had at least hit the mark. I can't say I'll be back. read more

My friends and I ordered several dishes from this menu and...wow! EVERYTHING was incredible. And I am NOT just saying that. The property where Fleetwood is located is at an old motor inn that has been renovated and modernized, but still has a very charming 1950's feel. Back to the food. You MUST order the meatballs. The burrata, too. The Speck ham pizza was very good and Rocky chicken breast was delicious. The Agnolotti were pockets of pasta filled with a yummy filling. And the cannoli is what I imagine will be the closest you will find in Sonoma County as a true Italian cannoli. We also had the other dessert offered, a polenta cake that was surprisingly good (it didn't sound super wonderful to me, but it WAS.) The cocktails on the menu were refreshing, especially on a hot day just as it was yesterday. Waitstaff was fabulous, friendly and checked on us constantly. I will go again, for sure, and I will tell everyone I know about it, but I may plan on a little getaway and stay there at the motor inn next time. read more

Spent the weekend in Calistoga and this place was across from our hotel. Overall, a comfortable and yummy experience. Hostess and staff are all super friendly. Got to sit inside and it has a very nice atmosphere. Food was all amazing. Started with the romaine salad, the dressing was so creamy and delish. We ordered anchovies on the side. The steak meal- soo good. Comes with gnocchi which I have never had before but it was a pleasant addition to the dish. Also ordered the Buffalo pizza which is pretty much a margherita pizza with water Buffalo cheese. Would definitely order again! Lastly, finished with cannolis :) good pistachio filling. Since we came very quick for a brunch before we head to winery tour in Castello di Amorosa, we did not get any photos. When we came, it was not crowded at all. We were seated very quickly. Visited recently while staying at the UpValley right across the street. The restaurant is at the Calistoga Inn or Lodge. We ordered the burrata, the Brussels sprouts, the mushroom gnocchi, and the beet salad. We also ordered the Schramsberg blanc de blanc, which is a sparkling wine that is neither sweet nor dry and is perfect. The burrata I would skip. The cheese didn't have much flavor, the bread was nothing to write home about, and it just was not worth $18. The Brussels were excellent-very well done, crispy, and tasty with a touch of heat from the chili oil. The beet salad really showcases the beets-not a lot of greens or other things going on. If you like beets, you'll really like it. The gnocchi was outstanding. Very fluffy and really great flavors. As I mentioned, the wine was totally lovely. Service was great. I would definitely go back. We loved being able to walk from our hotel. The food was delicious. read more

They were out of pizza dough when we went for dinner so had to try the gluten free. Not a fan of gluten free pizza but it was better than I was expecting. Great space with a decent bar. I had a glenlivet 25 on the rocks while I waited for my meal to be ready. I ordered salmon which was perfectly seasoned and grilled. I was disappointed that they forget the mashed potatoes and only gave me a small spoonful of veggies. The veggies were also perfectly seasoned and cooked, but why so stingy. Right away when I walked in, I absolutely fell in love with how cute the decor and design of the restaurant is - retro but with an updated / modern feel. I decided to try this restaurant courtesy of my Yelp community as this restaurant had great reviews. So many items on the menu I wanted to try but my stomach is only so big. My SO and I ordered - burrata & peach, grilled Cesar salad, I had the lemon cream pasta and my SO had the hens tail pizza. Everything was very delicious, I had never had a grilled Cesar salad and I loved the char on it and the level it added to a simple salad. My favorite was honestly the burrata, I can't resist a good burrata especially on some bread. The pasta I had was quite enjoyable. The pizza wasn't really for me because I don't like truffle but the SO enjoyed it. I also had a delicious espresso martini as well! Parking was easy and making a reservation was nice.
