She always does exactly what I would asked her to do and never fails to meet my expectations and like what other reviewer have said, it's at a reasonable price. I came back few weeks later to get my clothes hemmed and iron again and on my second visit, I was shocked she remembered my name. I thought to myself, "Wow, she has a good memory." She also has a beautiful smile when you walk in which is a plus. I'm going to keep coming back here to get my clothes hemmed and iron done. Just had 2 dresses hemmed and they did an amazing job. The fabric was a 4 way stretch fabric which is a little tough to get a good hem on but they look great. Not they were quick. I took the dress to Fletcher Hills Alteration after reading many of the positive reviews. I came prepared wearing the undergarments I would wear with the dress and the shoes I intended to wear. Helen pleasantly greeted me when I came in and offered her assistance. She told me I could pick up the day of the event. It made me a little nervous but I was ok with it. I made the right decision choosing to come here! Although I have lived in the Lake Murray area for about six years, an occasion where I needed a simple pants hem hadn't come up. However, due to health complications (not good) and losing a lot of weight (yay!) I was finally ready to get back into some denim. Helen was very understanding and got two pairs ready for me very quickly. The last pair that were not as needed were still ready in less than a week. Nothing against stretchy pants, but it sure felt good to walk out in jeans that actually fit my stubby legs! Additionally, her pricing is unbelievably reasonable for such high quality work/service and her shop is cute and inviting.
