I really wanted to like Flex Painting seeing their 5 star reviews, but I'm thoroughly disappointed in the customer service I've received from Kyle. From the beginning it just felt like pulling teeth getting him to call me back to get an appointment. It's been just as difficult with getting a quote. I still haven't received a quote and it's been over a week since he walked the project. All the other painters I've communicated with have given me same day quotes. I waited a few days after he came by to remind him about the quote. He said he would have it for me that day, but it never came. When I reached out again the next day saying I didn't receive the quote, I got no response. I shouldn't have to keep reaching out, get broken promises and get them to do their job. I was so lucky to find Kyle and his team here on Yelp. I was about to pay thousands more to a contractor who was just bringing in a handyman to do the work when I thought to check yelp. Kyle was fast to respond to my request for quote and came out the next day to do an on-site estimate. He put together a very detailed quote and his price was reasonable. Mine was a rush job to get our house ready for guests so I only had 2 weeks to get everything done. His crew showed up on the day they promised and spent a good amount of time masking and taping down the space to prep. We had the popcorn ceiling removed so that can get really messy. He was able to schedule an appointment in the next two days and even though he couldn't make it, he ended up sending Oscar to check out the job instead of canceling on me. He ended up scheduling another appointment to make sure he was giving a fair price and I received a detailed quote from him the next day. The price was very reasonable and he was available almost immediately to start the job. Painting the house took longer than he anticipated but that was because the guys made sure to was not a big deal for us as long as the job was done.
