I'm really lucky I had the most calm and caring guide, her name is MARY B. and she has such a great eye for color and style combos. My wife and I visited the store on the afternoon of May 15, 2021, and needed assistance with a Shopping List from Installation Made Easy for a flooring project. We couldn't find anyone to help and saw Ms. Brevil at the PRO Counter. My wife approached her and asked if she could assist us in finding someone to help answer our questions. She made a call but learned no one was available. Rather than informing us we would have to wait, she immediately offered to help us herself and was able to answer all of our questions. It would be great if all managers followed her example of excellent customer service but unfortunately, in our experience, not all do. Thank you once again, Ms. Brevil, for your help. Had a really bad experience trying to return some tile not used from bathroom renovation. Initially treated with disregard when asked for help. Then mgr Eric went through every piece, getting involved with other customers during this attempted return which he said he didn't have to, that he has turned people away. He has to clean off every loose tile but veered from task when other customers came (at first the store was empty). I felt punished for trying to make a return of so many pieces (overestimated by supervisor Mary). Left outside covered with plastic tarp. Whoa is me for doing business there! read more

This place is amazing! It's well-lit, organized, and clean. After perusing through several different messy tile and stone shops, I was happily surprised when I entered Floor and Decor. I loved that they provided more than just a small sample and many of their products are installed in vignettes so you can really get a good idea of what the material would look like after construction. We bought some samples and will be ordering our kitchen tile from here for our remodel. read more

I wish I found this place at the beginning of my renovation. All the tiles I ordered from small stores were delayed due to port issues. Thankfully I found this place and it's awesome. They have a huge selection and everything right there in stock. Beautiful showroom with sample bathrooms and half kitchens. You can look online first to see if they have it in stock and if not just get it from one of the other stores. Their prices are low too. So far everyone I've met has been very helpful. Consistently bad customer service. When you buy things online don't expect them to be actually in stock and ready to pick up as they claim. When you call double checking if an item is in stock don't expect it to actually be there. They have a few good employees but there are a few that obviously don't want to be there and have a bad attitude and poor customer service. If you don't like your job just quit. I actually like the store itself they have a wide selection but the false online advertising combined with the clueless employees makes it so I'll never go to the San leandro location again. False internet advertising still happens at the pleasant hill location but the employees there are much more pleasant and helpful. read more

Came to Floor & Decor to just look around and get some ideas for our bathroom remodel. We walked around and met Rashmeet who is fantastic. Rashmeet listened to what we wanted and also took down all the details, such as measurements, layout, windows, doors, etc. She was then able to show us lots and lots of options. A big advantage Floor & Decor has is the return policy. If it's not used, you can return it, so we picked up a number of sample pieces which helped us decide what options would work. Rashmeet is very talented and knowledgeable in design: she is very detailed, patient, and extremely talented. She is so good that we used her again for the downstairs bathroom. read more

Don't buy shower doors or any single fixtures from here. If you don't have a contractor they don't provide installation services. Their third party recommendation installation made easy doesn't offer installation either. I ordered a shower door and it was a headache. I can't even get it returned without taking it back myself (I had it ordered and delivered to my house). Al the shower door is 200lbs and they want you to bring it back for return in person instead of them picking it up. read more

My husband and I went to pick up supplies for our upcoming bathroom remodel on a Saturday. We were prepared for the store to be packed and for all of the staff to be busy. I visited this store like a week ago. OMG the worst customer service I have ever seen. Nobody in that store has a smile. All the workers look high on drugs and work super slow. None of the workers i talked to Are even been trained to sell flooring. They have no knowledge about any products. Get them some training and smiles on their faces. I will never come here again. I had the most wonderful experience due to Mignon!! She was knowledgeable, patient, funny, and so kind! A total professional!! I hate going through the process of picking out hardwood floor for our house, along with bathroom tile, and other floor details. However, Mignon went above and beyond by ensuring we received our details when the floor & Decor systems were not working properly and didn't send us our quote to our emails. We ordered a custom stationary shower glass door on 10/14/21 in the store because their website would not allow us to complete the transaction ( we kept getting stopped at shipping and the site would not let us go further). It took an associate and a manager 90 minutes to figure out how to place the order. Even then, it was still not correct because the shipping said Fed Ex for $4.99 for a 34" X 72" piece of glass! The manager finally told the associate to leave it as is and she would fix it after the item arrived at the store. This was an On Hand item in their warehouse. The item will ship to their store, and then the store will arrange a local carrier to deliver it. We checked online the week of 10/24 and could not find our order. We went in on 11/7 and a different associate looked up our order. It had been canceled the follow day on 10/15/21! No notice. No one following up with us. They could not see who cancelled the order. So, we had the associate and manager repeat the order, on 11/7/21. We had already had to cancel our installer once and we need the piece to continue our bathroom remodel. We looked up the order on 11/17 and it is still in the system, but doesn't give any update. I called this morning 11/18 @ 7:45am and was hung up on twice through their phone system because no one answered. Finally on the 3rd try, I got Minyawn. She looked up my order and said that it was on a truck and would be here in 3 -4 business days. I asked for a tracking number and she said that she would have to research it and call us back. Her attitude was sourly and disgruntled. This is a $600 piece of glass that we should have had a month ago. Their systems, ecom site, and associates/ managers, all need a lesson on customer service. I'm disappointed and will not recommend or do any business with this company again. It's scary that a company this bad is still in business. I predict it won't be in a year or two. 12/1/2021 UPDATE: Minyawn has not contacted me. Called on 11/29/2021 9:13am and again, was hung up on twice, but the third time, Mary answered the call. She looked up my order and said that it appeared to have been received. She will check and call me back. By 2:47pm, there was no call from Mary, so I called. They picked up on the first try! Mary was out to lunch, and I left a message. Mary left me a message at 6:00pm that she was incorrect and my order was in transit. She will try to find out what is happening and get a tracking number. Long story short we were redirected to San Leandro to pick up our remaining materials. The employees at Milpitas never did due diligence in following up as we've asked for and purchased. Turns out San Leandro did not have any of the remaining items in stock. Josh meticulously searched and eventually got us a similar material for the same price point. We really appreciate the professionalism and customer centered service received by Josh and Joseph at San Leandro. I love that this store was in town for all my bathroom remodel needs. They have a wide selection of tile and good pricing. There's such a large selection that it was hard to decide. To help me with that I took advantage of their free design services. I brought pictures of my current bath (with measurements) and some bath inspiration photos of what I liked. The rep (I wish I remembered her name ‍) was patient and provided some good ideas. I also appreciate their return policy. In case you may have over bought tile, they have a 90-day return policy. Their showroom is also very nice! Also can provide ideas for your remodel. I would certainly recommend the store. Not sure why the SL store is rated lower than the other locations. Personally I thought the one in Milpitas had less selection. Burlingame had a beautiful showroom, but still appreciated the selection best in SL. read more

We recently placed an order for 1000sq ft of tile & have had repeated failed deliveries. I have never had such a fiasco dealing with having materials delivered. At every opportunity, Floor & Decor has blame shifted instead of taking responsibility. They have failed to return calls as promised & have not yet rectified this. I've spent over 5k on materials that are now weeks overdue. Because of the horrible communication I've hired & paid installers way more to secure their time. This is an embarrassment! read more

If you value your money and sanity, you will avoid Floor & Decor at all costs. Their installation process is mired in broken processes, miscommunication, and lack of ownership. Our countertop installation has been delayed by 7 weeks. It will be another month of washing dishes in our bath tub due to this avoidable, bureaucratic BS. This is corporate process outsourcing at its worst. The local stores have zero influence on installation vendors and timelines. To be clear, this has nothing to do with supply issues / COVID delays. I have remodeled in the past and this experience has been the worst in memory. My contractor has never encountered this level of disfunction. read more

After hunting for 1 month through 11 different tile stores I stumbled upon this place. Are you kidding me?!?! This place has everything, in stock and "Ignacio" spent over an hour with me doing the math calculations, 4 pages, front and back, to ensure we had the right amount and size of stone for our project. He really knows his materials and inventory and made sure that there was enough of what I needed between his store and pleasant hill so I could have it all that same day.
