When I told the other neighbor about Pacific , she said this is the place her parents got their range hood. We know it's a business that has been there for decades. * Best time to go: I got my range hood the day after Forth of July. They usually have sales on holidays, eg some discounts and give away some gifts like pots and pans of the sister brand. * What's included The fee you paid includes home installation and they recycle the old range hood for you. They bring the items to your home on installation day. * Customer service and the store display Zoe was very helpful and friendly. I sort of did my product research before coming but Zoe gave me more insights about the product. It's also nice to go to a store and you get to see the actual product and you can feel it or hear the sound or see the lights and see if the range hood is to your expectations. * Purchase process and installation date You tell them some measurements (it's better to go to their website so you know what to measure) and they give you an order, then you paid. They tell you a date they will come and install. Usually the earliest they have. They would call if they have anything earlier open up. The installation also takes less than an hour. * Parking and others There were two customers in front of me so I had to wait a bit since there was only one person helping. But it's ok. And they do help you based on the order you first enter the store. Parking is on the street. * Product I did my research so I got the 1000cfm and the steam cleaning one. We finally got the bulb replacements and installed them but they're not functioning correctly. Perhaps the bulbs are not the real issue and their performance mal-performance is a symptom. I bought a 24 inch dual zone wine cooler and they offer FREE delivery to garage even at weekends! If you want they delivery to the kitchen and install for you, you will need to pay $50 extra. Which I think it is fair because I called some other installation service they charge $120-$150. Jeffery and Victor definitely did a good job, they called me half an hour before arriving in Sunday morning. Installed, adjusted and hauled away all the package materials efficiently. The whole process only took 30mins. Back to the product. The wine cooler is great!!! It looks very high tech with the blue LED light and clean and sleek design. Unless you're a professional hood installer, I would have the person to do it. The installer called about 20 minutes before arrival and he completed the install in about 30 minutes. They carry a Buffalo Rice Cooker may be the same manufacturer with Pacific Range Hood. I bought the rick cooker with the range hood and cook ware together about three years ago. Lightly use 3-4 times weekly only for white rice. It does not work with an error code EA from last week. They offer me $259-$60 to change a new outer pot. I would like to say how stupid I look like will to accept this generous offer. This defective product is not worth to buy it!!! read more

I spoke with Carol in the San Francisco Branch because I need a new rice cooker. My first generation Buffalo Rice Cooker is broken, the wire/cable in the outer layer is short circuit. The manufacturer no longer makes the wire/cable so it is beyond repair. Carol explained this to me patiently. I ended up buying a 10-cup IH Baffalo rice cooker. I am excited because I know Buffalo rice cooker last for a long time. My old one lasted for more than 10 years. It is pricey as I paid more than $400.00 for it. I was disappointed that they don't carry the white one for the 10-cup model. They have shipped it to me without charging any shipping fee. I should be receiving it in a couple of days. read more

I purchased a Pacific range hood in 2006 for its strong ventilation performance. Recently, the hood light switch for on the control panel went out. I went to the store with my sales order and was assisted by Patrick. He verified my purchase and stated that my range hood parts were warranted for 10 years so they will replace the bad switch, but would need to pay for labor at $55 since it was warranted for only 5 years. Needing the switch repaired, Patrick scheduled a convenient appointment date for Saturday and that I would get a confirmation the day before. On the Friday, I stopped by during lunch since I didn't get a confirmation. The lady checked the appointment system and couldn't find my repair job. She was apologetic and said she could reschedule for next Friday, which I accepted. I received a call on Tuesday to confirm the Saturday appointment. The technician came in the scheduled time and efficiently repaired the switch. Very good technician service, but never entering my repair order into their system was a major error in the process. Hope oversights like this is rare. read more

I ordered a range and was talked into buying their overpriced "highest quality in the market" rice cooker ($249 Buffalo Smart cooker) It turned out to be much worse than my old Zojirushi. Within a month I noticed that it often turns itself off when I set up delayed cooking. I often came home to a pot of uncooked rice and water. When It did cook the cooked rice also get burned and stuck to the bottom a lot! I called the store and asked to return it and was told the following things: 1. I don't have to use the delayed cooking I could just use the "quick cook" function when I get home 2. "Our machines are more focused on being high quality than being convenient". After I insisted that I do NOT want to use the quick cook function and its definitely defective that the delayed cooking will turn itself off, they agreed to exchange half of the machine for me (only the outer shell because the inner pot already has burned marks from rice stuck to the bottom, so they can't resell it). Btw it was the store manager who said those things! The other guy was even ruder and absolutely refused to refund or exchange. read more
