I read the reviews and should have paid better attention. If you don't like the product (Luxury Vinyl) once it is installed, no way will you get your money back. We debated between two grades and took a recommendation of staff as being the best LVP they carried in the Everett, Washington store. We installed over new concrete, added the pad they recommended underneath to make it quiet and warmer, had an expert installer do the job. The floors float oddly and rise up, they creak and crack as you walk on them. I had read in previous reviews that F & D don't ever do returns if it is an inferior product and you are unhappy with the product after install. They, of course, hired their own consultant to review the product, and no surprised, decided it was not their issue and won't allow a credit or return of the materials. We spent over $1700 in product. We waited 6 weeks to finally get this information today. I wouldn't recommend using this place. I should have purchased at another store more reputable for their return and replacement policies. Floor and Decor materials are low priced but also low quality. Stay Away! read more

My 'experience' with Floor & Decor was absolutely the worst I have ever encountered with any company. I ordered tile for a project online, with their website promising it was in stock and available for delivery in 7-10 days. What followed was the worst 37 day ordeal before I finally received my items. And even then, I'm pretty sure the only reason the items arrived was my constantly messaging their poor social media team, and spending literal HOURS on hold every single day with the store locations my order had been sent to for fulfillment. Few things to know: 1: there is no central 'customer support.' Their website has an online chat feature that outsources to some support company that has no information beyond what is already on the website. I had one support agent 'time out' while trying to retrieve my order info, then suddenly the chat option went offline. If you try to call the main 1800 number, it will put you on hold, then automatically time out and disconnect you. There is no way to get a human in any sort of centralized role on the telephone. 2: they do not respond to emails to any address I tried. even customercare@flooranddecor.com goes unanswered. 3: Your only option to talk to anyone is to figure out what store is set to fulfill your order, and call them directly. Expect to sit on hold for at least 45-50 minutes every time you call. 4: If a store does not have the full QTY of your order, absolutely nothing will be done. The order will sit in their queue with no updates, no attempt to get stock from another location, nothing. 5: Store locations do not have the authorization to 'split' an order to fulfill what they may have in stock. I payed more than $300 in shipping for my order, but according to the store, they could not send me their 85 in stock pieces and 14 from another location with it in stock without my paying ADDITIONAL shipping. For those waiting for an order you made the mistake of ordering with this company, I highly recommend direct messaging their facebook. I messaged them over and over and over to the point that I'm probably labelled a 'karen' in their book, but honestly it is THE ONLY WAY to get answers. I want to tell you about our appreciation for our experience at your Tukwila, WA store on Saturday, July 25th. After facing a plumbing and mold disaster in our home, we walked into your store for some inspiration for our remodel. We were thrilled to find an endcap display of Aquaguard on clearance for only 98 cents per sq foot. We were so excited. After spending about an hour at your store to find the transition pieces and everything we would need, we loaded everything up on the cart and went to check out. The checker rang us up and the total was 4 times what we expected. When we told her it was on sale, she said it wasn't and that the sign was placed on the wrong product. Needless to say, we were disappointed and frustrated. We left the store to cool down and returned about 5 minutes later. Buzz had been helping us and met us again at the back of the store where we had originally found the product. Buzz helped us as we searched for something else. He told us to wait for a minute so that he could check returns to see if there was a product that would be more affordable and matched what we were looking for. A few minutes later, he returned to tell us that management had agreed to sell us the original product for the advertised sale price. We were so incredibly thankful. Facing a plumbing and mold disaster is never fun. We were overwhelmed at the expense as we faced other emergency expenses from earlier in the year. Buzz was so gracious and kind. He was thoughtful and caring. He took the time to listen and to help us. We are so thankful for him and for his service. Every time I look at this flooring, I will remember his kindness and how blessed we were by his actions. read more

I have been trying for almost a week now to get someone on the phone to help me with an order I placed online. Horrible customer service.

Worst store to work with!! First when I bought hardwood with them they shorted me 10 boxes... and only later let me know. Also they lost my matching stairs for 3 weeks then when I kept bugging them about it they said they discontinued it.. and couldn't help me find something similar so I was held back on my project and had to spend more time searching for something to match somewhere else. Next I was short 2 boxes of marble tile for my shower and AGAIN discontinued the product and have to look someplace else for it. They change inventory every month. So be aware. Also will not calculate how much you need properly. I came in with my measurements and they shorted me everything I boiAll their products are mis numbered. Their signed arenas correct for pricing either. We had to let them know to correct. Cheap tile yes but soo screwed up to deal with. read more

Updating my review to 5-stars. Doing phase 2 of my remodel I had the opportunity to work with Jenny from design and a few other folks at the Tukwila store. They were awesome and helpful, offering design tips, suggesting things NOT to do, etc. They have reasonable prices without having to go through "contractor discount" BS at many local suppliers, allow returns, will store your order for a bit until you're ready to take delivery, and have access to materials that most other places consider specialty stuff (eg natural marble and travertine tile). read more

Craig was great!! My wife and I were definately having trouble deciding on flooring for our house. We need reasonable priced flooring that will last long term with big dogs in the house. We also had a very specific look in mind and even though we didnt find the exact look we wanted he helped us decide on what to buy. Wonderful store! Their stock is extensive and varied, with great prices. We were ready to buy today if we found the right materials and had solid ideas of color/theme, but needed help picking the right tile for a new bathroom. The first guy that helped us was 'eh' and we were still wandering without much information, then we met Katie!! She's a designer and worked with us to pick out our top three choices and narrow it down to the perfect mix of tile for our new bathroom. She had a lot of great ideas and was mindful of our budget. We purchased an old condo last summer and decided to replace the carpet with engineered hardwood in several areas. We'd spent a great deal of time looking at Great Floors, but couldn't quite find the product we were looking for. A friend told us about a brand new flooring store in Tukwila the size of a Home Depot. Floor and Décor (F&D) was almost overwhelming in size. It is a massive store with thousands of products from hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, vinyl, floor tile, wall tile, etc., etc., etc. The store had just opened and was still staffing up, but we were very well taken care of by the staff they had. It took us far longer than I'd like to admit (months), but my wife and I finally agreed after countless trips and hours spent in the store on an engineered Brazilian Teak product. We were assisted by a variety of helpful employees over the course of our countless visits. The manager, Dave, was great to work with and always responsive. Emily and Laura helped us with not only our wood selection, but also with our kitchen backsplash tile. Julius pitched right in when I came rolling into the store literally at closing time to pick up some underlayment and return some caulk. He got me all squared away as the clock struck 9pm. So many employees helped us out over our overly-long decision process that I feel guilty that I can't remember all their names. Our special order took about 4 weeks to come in. We scheduled our install with Installations Made Easy (IME) (reviewed separately) that has a relationship with Floor and Décor. We had some challenges with IME, but that was a separate issue and the final install was beautiful. Our final installers, David and Vadim, did a beautiful job. Here's my one beef. I won't take off a star from this review for this product issue, since we've had such a great experience with the folks at F&D. We also purchased backsplash 6"x12" glass tile from F&D. The glass tile was beautiful, made in China. However, when an experienced contractor tried to install it using a brand new diamond blade, he was unable to cut it without it shattering at least 50% of the time. It drove him to distraction and he is highly experienced. We even took several pieces to a specialty glass shop and had their glass cutter with 50 years experience try to cut it. He gave up after several trials citing the product as too brittle to cut angles in. Our contractor had to eventually cut individual little straight pieces (with multiple broken tiles per piece) to go around our outlets. We had to buy oversize outlet and switch covers to hide the grout lines. It's beautiful now that it's up, but buyer beware of buying the Chinese made glass tile products anywhere you find them. We have now heard about this issue from multiple sources. None-the-less, our experience with Floor and Décor has been great. They have an excellent and easy to return policy and we have recommended them to many people. Our Brazilian Teak floors are gorgeous. They look just like the photos on F&D's website. read more

I urgently needed to find a tile to replace a tile I had planned to use in a remodel but which was no longer available from a different vender, so I visited Floor & Decor. A saleswoman named Christina T. helped me. She walked me around the store to find different options, found me the perfect tile, checked their quantity in stock, which was insufficient, called their Everett store to check their stock, asked Everett to reserve tile for me, and then rang up the sale for both stores in one order. Her service absolutely could not have been better. And after all that, their price was lower than the price of the tile I had originally seen in the other store.
