Both stores in Tukwila and Tacoma were great with customer service, tile selection and prices and we are super excited with our projects results. Today, a very nice employee by the name of Vic assisted me in the Tukwila store, he was super helpful and even wrapped some torn boxes for me and then assisted loading them in my vehicle. So we had a house fire and yes this place we have come to week after week to replace tiles, flooring and ect. Friendly staff. Yes they messed up a few orders of many orders but they made it right. We purchased flooring for 5 rooms and tiles for 3 bathroom and kitchen. They have a large selection in all areas. Many of the staff members are able to help with more in depth questions when it comes to a DIY install. We did all the work ourselves. Just a few hick ups with orders but for the most part they are helpful and will fix any issue. Returns are very easy if you use a phone number for purchase. Glad to have this place as a option. read more

This is such a great store full of so many great types of tile. The cashier was very helpful. Unfortunately finding help out on the floor is another story. I needed two boxes of tile that were shrink wrapped and stacked above my reach. I could not find anyone on the floor to help get the two boxes down. I went to the cashier and paid for the two boxes and was told to pick up at customer pick up. I arrived at customer pick up and 3 staff members were standing around talking. They told me one person was in front of me and I should have my two boxes within 5 minutes. It is now 30 minutes later. Still no tile. I told the manager if he had a ladder I could grab the two boxes myself. His reply was "they are getting it now ma'am" as he leaned against a fork lift. I am still waiting as I write this. Come on Floor and Decor get it together. This is beyond frustrating. read more

Wow! I just literally had the best experience at Floor and Decor. I had a huge return from my project and not to much mention I've been here several times to purchase flooring and tile for my new project which was 4,400 Sq ft. I wanted to give a shout out to: Shelly, Brian, Ryan, Craig, Bikran, Andrey, and the guy with the shaggy hair driving the forklift! All of them were super helpful! I've literally called this store 20x, nobody has ever answered. When we had the rep call from the Everett store they couldn't even tell the employee if they had what we were looking for was in stock, they made her wait 30 minutes to tell her that. If you are unable to answer the phone during regular business hours you should have a message on the automated system explaining why. Not going to give my money to this business. read more

My daughter and I came in looking for flooring to replace upstairs in our house. Ken was Amazing. He explained the benefits and disadvantages of each floor type we were considering. Which were wood tile vs laminate vs vinyl plank. Ken was very knowledgeable on each product and helped us metros our choices to vinyl plank. We took home 4 planks of the two colors we liked and put them in the areas for about a week. We went back to pick up our flooring. Ken helped us double check our sq footage and get everything we needed. He loaded our flooring, explained our stair choices and ordered what we couldn't get that day. He taught us how to cut the product and how to do the stairs. At check out Tina was friendly and a great representation of Customer Service. with encouragement from Ken and Tina We left feeling confident. I am so proud of what we did. Craig is the man! he saved me so many tears after I purchased the wrong laminate flooring for my business. I had gone earlier in the week and told a random sales associate what I was buying it for and they didn't tell me it wasn't commercial grade nor water resistant. My installer went to buy some transition pieces for the project and was told I had bought flooring that would more than likely break at 8mm. I called and spoke to Craig and he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me explaining why I needed to go 12mm and water resistant. A lot of people won't go that extra mile anymore or they have no clue what they are doing so Craigs customer service went above and beyond any experience that I've had in a long time. read more

There was nobody to answer questions. I walked to the front entrance to ask the lady greeter if she could get someone to help and she called and said there was only one girl and she was helping someone else. So we waited a lengthy time for her to finish. They also have displays that we're not updated so the price did not match the display. We are also seniors and no customer service offering us help. First of all, this is an immense store, with far from an adequate number of employees. That said, I did manage to find the product I needed, waited for an associate to help me, and successfully ordered a little over 1100 square feet of waterproof laminate flooring, including paying over $250 for delivery. Now, two days later, I still have no idea when itis going to be delivered. So, I called the store. Three times. And let it ring and ring and ring. Seems they don't like to answer their phone. So now I will have to return to Southcenter to find out what is going on with my delivery. My contractor is waiting and this is costing me money. This was my first time with this company, and will surely be my last. read more

Came to store with some concerns about some items we purchased a few weeks ago. We needed more of the same product but unfortunately we couldn't find any more of the same style due to some batch differences. While checking the stocks in the aisle, this young man name Victor approached us and asked if we needed help. For a second I thought we were being help by the store manager because of the outstanding customer service. Victor's was able to answer all of our questions and we were really amazed with his knowledge about the product, which ultimately contributed to find a solution to our concerns in a timely manner. We met again while at the register and he offered to help carrying everything to our vehicle. I tried rewarding him for his help with a tip, as a form of appreciation for his dedication, but he totally refused to take anything and implied that he was just doing his Job! My boyfriend and I recently purchased a fixer upper condo and were looking for new flooring. We had in mind the type of laminate and color that we wanted and when we asked an associate for help we were immediately helped and given our options and their recommendations for our needs. We loved how big this warehouse was and will definitely be back for other home projects we are planning on doing in the future. If you want to be treated rudely or ignored or lied to, go here. We found a solid hardwood we liked on clearance and went to take a look at it in person. After waiting a while, the lady that finally "helped" us told us they only had 8 boxes and we would have to order the rest (175 boxes) from a store in California which would end up being so expensive it wasn't worth it, we would be better off buying something more expensive already in stock. She didn't know how much it would actually cost to ship though, so we waited for someone more helpful and found out it was only around 450 to ship. Big deal. We went home to measure. A few days later, we were driving back to complete the purchase since we only had a quote (we live an hour away.) We called ahead and after waiting 15 minutes for a human, the manager, who apparently had better things to do with her time, kept giving reason after reason why they couldn't sell us the product. The store that had it was newer, so they couldn't ship from there (huh?), maybe we could open up a sku, but it wasn't likely to work, something about an embargo (?really?) Whatever. The store in CA had product they needed to clear and we had money to buy it but she didn't want to help us. She did everything she could to stop us from buying the flooring. I guess the Tukwila store has enough sales they don't need to be helpful. Luckily for us, we called the store in CA and they were fantastic! Their customer service was phenomenal and not only is the shipping actually a bit cheaper, but it's being delivered to our door, so we don't have to drive back up to Tukwila (80 mile round trip) to pick it up. Was shocked when girl at pick up said she wanted to record my drivers license in there computer, and said couldn't pick up order with out recording in computer.I told her not sure was legal. And you can clearly see its me in the picture in my drivers license. Than she started getting attitude so asked for manager to come over. Her ideas were amazing and she could pivot from idea to idea, fine tuning our ideas and wishes into reality. We love everything we picked out and had installed. Our friends are amazed at the outcome. Floor and Decor has an impressive stock of materials at great prices. Originally I had posted about a terrible customer service experience I had received at Floor and Decor. However, the staff at Floor and Decor went above and beyond to make that situation right. This included a manager hand delivering the tiles I had ordered to my house (over 30 min away) immediately upon receiving my review. I understand that mistakes happen and in this new world of doing business in COVID-19, everything becomes more challenging. What I really appreciate is when issues occurred, Floor and Decor did everything they possibility could to make that situation right. I was initially "floored" by Floor and Decor's great selection and prices, but now I can also say that I am equally impressed by their customer service.
