Really cute cafe with seemingly new furniture and decor, the pink and green color palette is so cute. Restroom is also nice and clean. I haven't tried the food, I only go for the matcha. The matcha is delicious and also seemingly authentic, beautiful color. Service is also very pleasant, every time I come in, I am greeted by very kind workers. The only downside is that it might take a little while for your items to come out but this is a small business and the ambiance is pleasant to linger. I would consider this place if you want to sit and chat for a while, not if you are in a rush! read more

The cafe it self is very cute but the inside reeks of the overflow of smell from the nail salon, enough to give someone a strong headache. But besides that they had a very tasty mango matcha which i would recommend as well as the chocolate croissant. But the latte i got was HORRIBLE. The espresso was so burnt it had a strong bitter taste. if i'm paying $7 for a drink i want it to be something i can't make better myself but this was not it. overall i would not recommend this place just on my experience with the latte itself. This has become my absolutely fav coffee spot in Bonita. I live 5 mins away and let me tell You I have been going like twice a week. First of all is located in a great plaza with plenty of parking. The cafe is beautiful!! The decor is super aesthetic! Cute little tables, super clean and neat. You literally have such a good time here. I highly recommend enjoying your coffee or whatever you buy here by sitting down and have the whole experience. I can tell is family owned which I totally love and support small business like this. Very cute coffee shop in Bonita. Even before commenting on the coffee, the interior itself is so well thought out and has a lot of detail, it's fun just to look around and admire it. The tuna sandwich is delicious. The salad dressing is so light and flavorful. The woman that took our order, possibly the owner, was very pleasant and kind. It was nice to be greeted with a smile. Adorable new cafe in Bonita! This is a nice surprise! I was looking for a salad or something healthy to eat for lunch and rolled up near Vons and found this new cafe. Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken for protein. While waiting I ordered a delicious coffee called "Nectar" espresso with a perfect balance of honey and cinnamon in Oat milk. My sis and I were so excited to stumble upon this place. We were looking for a cute coffee shop to sit and chat. When we got here it wasn't too busy, my sis ordered ahead of me and got a table. I got my drink quickly, unfortunately my sister didn't. We started noticing it was getting busier and other people that came after us were getting their food AND drinks. Trying to give them more time, we weren't even acknowledged. My sister went up and politely told them she's missing her drink, all they said was "it's on its way". Disappointed we sat and waited more, served 2 more people before getting my sister's drink. Making that a total of 6 people served (that ordered after us) before my sister got her ONE drink! Was looking for a new local coffee shop to try and stumbled upon this one from Google search. So glad I did because I loved coming here and I'm happy to see how close it is to home. The inside is decorated very cute and artistically with the color coordination. The lady behind the counter was actually the owner, I believe her name was Griselle, and she was very kind. I only ordered a drink and I tried the peony drink that she recommended. It was tasty. I'm so looking forward to going back and trying something off the food menu! The matcha chia pudding was good and just the right size to partner with one of their specialty drinks - I got the Dahlia (cold brew with vanilla and almond milk). They definitely melted the cheese straight up on the pan so it became crispy and it was so big it didn't even fit the croissant. You just have to try it. Seriously insane. Flora Cafe is a new cafe that's very well clean. The design is very well thought out and goes along with the name of the store. I haven't tried any of their food so I have no input on that. The staff is very friendly and was able to make a custom caramel macchiato for me! The coffee was good but due to my caffeine tolerance, I felt it wasn't as strong to my liking. Sad to write this because I actually enjoyed my experience the first time we tried this place. Came here for lunch today and was unfortunately disappointed. Service was trash and our food took painfully long to come out. My girlfriend even found a hair in her food. We had it taken back and was offered a remake but we did not take it considering how long it took for the food to come out in the first place. No apology or any sort of display for concern. Not sure what their standard is for customer service is, but I can imagine it cant be too high considering that the staff don't seem to like working here. TLDR: Rude staff, and unsanitary. read more

Food- Simple, solid menu. For food, we had the breakfast sandwich and the waffle. Both were tasty! For drinks, we had lattes and cortados. All were enjoyable. Service- You order at a counter and then grab a seat- at 945 am on a Sunday almost every chair inside was taken! :) Servers walk around periodically to check in and clear the table if needed. Ambiance- very nice! Music is low and the conversation is pretty lively. You can sit and yap with a friend for a long time here. Came for a short visit to pick up something quick. The location is next to everbowl and mivy nail salon. There is a lot of parking but I know this plaza can get busy. Upon entering, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The ambiance of the place was cute, classy, and overall well put together. They were patient with us as we looked through their menu. Drinks: We ordered the Matcha Latte and Chai Latte. With the Matcha latte we were able to adjust the sweetness to our liking and could use milk substitutes. The Matcha latte was just okay when compared to some others we've had. The Chai Latte is what knocks this review down a couple stars. I've been wanting to try this cute newish cafe out and since I got my haircut next door I decided to try it out. I got an iced matcha latte with brown sugar syrup and a strawberry concha. Got my drink and it came out very light green, but gave it the benefit of the doubt and the brown sugar syrup turned out to have some kind of spice-y undertone so it tasted like a Christmas drink which is not really what I was expecting lol! Even if I got a vanilla syrup, the matcha was not even matcha-ing. The concha was good but nothing special. The flavor was subtle and the bread was light. I should've known this place was all hype and no service since the two girls behind the counter were gossiping instead of getting through the line of customers when we walked in. My friend and I chose to come here to support a local coffee shop over "big bucks" but honestly the drinks were basic and the rude service makes it not worth coming back. We ordered coffee and sat at a table to wait, I went to the bathroom and a lady in her 50s with light brown/blonde curly hair came by to wipe the table my friend had sat at and asked her if she was going to "stay at the table" so my friend told her yes and that she was waiting for our order. I came out of the bathroom, was sitting maybe a minute and the our coffees were ready so I got up to grab them and sat down. The same woman immediately came back wiping the table again and asked again if we were staying, to which I answered yes we just got our coffee. My friend asked if we're, "allowed to" feeling super awkward by being put on the spot and she said "well I already asked you before" and I tried to clarify that we just sat down and were having our coffee when she huffed, waived her arms around pointing at the three people in line and just point blank said she needed the table back. I was honestly in shock that I got up and told her we would leave. Mind you, this is a CAFE with first come first serve style seating - and there were at least two other empty tables. You get a number if you order food and coffee orders are picked up at the counter. Maybe if they want to police who can sit at their tables and who can't they should do restaurant-style seating and not kick out people who they feel have not purchased "enough" to sit at their café. I dislike posting negative reviews, ESPECIALLY for local businesses. I will happily spend double to support a local business. But service always needs to come first. read more

SO good & really high quality! Bonita is a little overrun with açaí, smoothie, & low quality sandwich joints so I was a little skeptical about this place but I am 10000% going to be back. Environment - SO cute. It's like a girly brunch spot. Like a mini version of Morning Glory. Even the bathroom was cute. Food - Okay I am piiiicky about food, especially at coffee shops because I feel like they're all the same and mass produced with no thought put in it whatsoever. But this place is like gourmet status and they give you a full MEAL. Not little finger foods. We got the tomato soup, prosciutto croissant sandwich, and the pesto chicken panini. The sandwiches came with a side salad. Everything was made in-house and you could tell. The tomato soup might be the best I've ever had. Next level. Coffee - Great drink options! All the ones you want with some special unique flavors as well. Not overly sweet either which was really nice.
