There are certain qualities most people look for when it comes to choosing moving companies. Professionalism, efficiency, trustworthiness and reasonable rates are some of them. Of course, consistent five star reviews on Yelp always help and mainly that's why we picked Florez Elite Moving. The owner, Ramona, was quick to get back to me via phone and email after our initial communication when we booked them two weeks before our move date. The confirmation was done via email. The rate we were given per hour for three men was $95 on a weekday. It's $10 more if you move on a Sunday. All three of them showed up on time (we were promised between 9-9:30am) with their huge truck wearing their uniforms and introduced themselves to us. They briefed us on what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. I could tell right off the bat that they were good men. Whenever they saw an imperfection in our furniture that was already there they would show it to us to make sure that we knew about it. One of them even went as far as to tell me that there was a piece missing from our bed on one side when in fact our bed is actually asymmetrical. Hahaha. They tried to move our stuff as fast as they possibly could using their props and equipment and never complained. It was nice getting a compliment from one of them that out of many couples he'd worked with he found me and my husband very compatible because we didn't fight or argue during the process. Hahaha. We all drove together to our new place in Corona and by then it was lunch time. I bought the movers lunch (tacos and drinks) and they were extremely grateful for that. Some customers they said would not feed them because they believe it's not part of the contract. I think that it's common sense and goodwill especially if they're doing the heavy lifting. The best part is that they would regal us with stories about their past moving experience. They were very hilarious and we couldn't stop laughing. Because they did a wonderful job that day my husband tipped them generously. Although we paid more than we would have if we'd hired a moving company with less expensive rates we felt like it was worth every penny for the peace of mind that we had that day. I needed a mover to clean out my mother's apartment after she passed away. I have never needed a mover before and had no recommendations or prior experience. I found Florez movers from their Yelp listing. Florez quoted me a target price based on my description of the move and and the distances involved. They met the target price. They wrapped the furniture in shrink wrap precluding damage. They arrived at the job about 4 hours late through no fault of their own. The folks who arranged the first move of the day grossly misrepresented the size of the job. It was much larger than they described. I guess they thought it would lower the cost somehow. I recommend Florez moving. They got the job done on the scheduled day for the target price with no damage to the stuff moved. That's the goal. read more

I hired these guys to help me move a piano and a few boxes. Fidel and Mike showed up early with great attitude. Provided protection for my wood floors and were very careful with my piano. We estimated the job would take 3 hours, which is their minimum. But they finished everything in just under 2 hours. My wife and I recently bought our first house and were moving out of our second floor apartment. To complicate matters we were also moving our Mother-in-Law into the back house from another apartment down the street. I've moved a lot in the past and always tried to be very prepared, but now that we have a toddler that isn't quite so easy. Thank god Florez Elite is so good at what they do. They gave us a great quote. They quoted by the hour and came in under the minimums of everyone else we called. We were a little worried that maybe the move would run long and we would end up paying more, but in the end we made the right call going with Florez. On the day of the move they showed up with 2 trucks and 4 guys. They quickly determined to save time that it would be best to concentrate on moving one apartment into the trucks at a time so all 4 guys could work faster. And they were fast, I was trying to get out ahead of them by disassembling furniture, but half the time I think they were waiting on me. Paco and the crew were cheerful, clear on the plan of attack and careful with all of items. The move out went quick, and when they took their lunch, they detailed clearly the time that they weren't on the clock. On the move in, they were so helpful, reassembling beds and tables and all the time being mindful of our brand new hardwood floors. They ended up being $300 dollars cheaper than the minimum quote we got from other companies. I've told my wife that I'm going to die in this house and I'm never moving again.
