It is absolutely disgusting that this establishment is open and operating at full capacity during Covid-19. Also ignoring the Governor's orders to close dine in establishments. Not surprising being that this place is in Chino and that this city thinks they are above everyone. Also when I called to speak to management about their continued operation not only did the employees not put me on hold or mute but left the line open so that I could hear the manager refuse to get on the phone or talk to me. Obviously no back bone as a manager and a coward because she couldn't get on the phone to answer a simple question. Unprofessional at its best. Then when I called back a second time to ask for the names of the manager and Owner a lady in the background yelled "just hang up". I used to eat here but being that people's health is not their main concern and while everyone else is following rules they choose to ignore them. Shame on the owner, the managers and the staff! At least if you're going to break the rules practice the guidelines that are set in place for restaurants so that people don't possibly get sick. But I guess that's too much as well for such a "family" oriented establishment. There again is others are going here supporting them knowing this they're just as wrong and disturbed! I will be reporting all of Flo's locations to thE county and cdc because they are all doing dine in from the words of an employee that works at the Airport Flo's. I don't think I could possibly say anything negative about Flo's. I went with my parents before heading out to the casino a couple weeks ago but have been coming here since I can remember. Flo's is the kind of restaurant with the vibe of someones kitchen. Lots of families make this place a weekly destination for some food and family time. The ladies are quick to seat you if it isn't too crowded which it tends to get especially on the weekends. All of the waitresses are amazing and soooo super nice. Portions are large. I almost found that out the hard way by almost getting the biscuits and gravy which looked like a meal in itself. I got the ham and cheese omlette and home potatos well done and it came out just the way I wanted it with some good toast and coffee. Filling and deliscious. I love Flo's!! I've been to the airport location but I prefer this one here on Riverside Dr. Stepping into this small but very comfortable diner is like stepping through time. It's very 50's-60's-70's!! Yes, all three decades are represented. It's homey, it's comfortable, and the servers treat you as if you are well liked members of the family. There are approximately 20-something booths; I'm calculating from memory here, so I could be off a few booths. When those are full there is usually room at the counter. This place fills up quickly on the weekends, so if you want breakfast get here early....7 AM-ish. Otherwise, add your name to the list and settle in with the paper, it could be a while. But it is SO worth the wait. The chicken fried steak is melt in your mouth perfection. It comes with 2 eggs, 2 biscuits, and hash browns. Then they cover it with southern style gravy. There is also a whole mess of it, so if you're a dainty eater, split the plate. They are so nice, they'll do that for you for only $1. And it'll come out looking like 2 individual orders. I've been wanting to order the HOMEMADE corned beef hash (so hard to find!), but I forget every time and always go with the chicken fried steak. Yay for Flo's!! read more

Review is for BREAKFAST only: I love Flo's! Walking in there feels like stepping off a plane and walking straight into a mom n pop diner in the south. During the week you can clearly tell that this place is a locals only hangout. Staff is very friendly and prompt in addition to being down to earth. Food is cheap and the quality is good. Although there is no going wrong here, my favorite thing on the breakfast menu would have to be the chili cheese omelet. Man o man! Flo's #2 in Chino, bad customer relations. Just went in there at 8:30pm they close at 9pm our party of 8 persons, figure we would give our business to a local restaurant. We walk in and the waitress behind the counter looks at us turns looks at the clock turns back to the people seated at the counter and says "son of a bitch! Super laid back attitude here, combined with proficient order taking and fresh hot goodness arriving in a timely manner. The four of us had the silver dollar pancakes w/ bacon and eggs, the giant waffle with same accompaniment, Flo's Famous Biscuits 'n Gravy, and the Corned Beef Hash & Egg breakfast. It was a must that I had to write a review about this place. First of all I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before and it has been busy and the waitresses seem not too friendly, but I did take it to consideration that it was a busy day. Today 3/27/22 I thought me and my husband would give it another try again and it would be different. It was the worst service experience ever. The hostess was rude!! Extremely rude, not only I noticed the rudeness of this hostess but a couple of other people also said that she was rude. She call my name to be seated and asked if I would like counter seating and I told her no I didn't want counter seating, she seemed upset because I didn't want counter seating and gave me attitude. There for after waiting about an additional 30 min my husband went to see how long it was going to take us to be seated because they were seating everyone but us, he looked at the list and notice that we were mark us off the list to be seated. He told me that we were marked off the list, therefore I approach the hostess and told her I was marked off the waiting list and we have been waiting awhile I told her that she did call me for counter seating but we didn't want counter seating. She told me that she call me twice! I told her no she didn't. She must of got upset and marked us off the list because I refuse the counter seating the first time, first of all my husband is disabled that's why I refuse the counter seating. She didn't even try to accommodate us! She was rude. At this point I was annoyed, she started raising her voice at me and my husband. My boyfriend, who has been coming here for many many years, brought me here for the first time yesterday and I was amazed on how delicious the food was! What a lovely mom and pop breakfast. We came here after a camping trip and waited about fifteen minutes before we were seated on a busy Sunday. I ordered the Everything Omelet, which included a myriad of vegetables and perfect amount of meat, with a side of Biscuits n' Gravy. My other half ordered the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs, also with a side of their famous Biscuits n' Gravy. The food is OK but the service, by some waitresses, are rather poor. I don't like to complain but if your job is to waitress, you should focus on that. Talking & catching up with customers should be secondary. This has become a habit with a waitress here. I don't want to wait to be served while you catch up & socialize with everyone!! I've been to the original Flo's at Chino airport. This location on Riverside Drive is definitely preferable. This is typical diner food. Have only been here for breakfast. I normally get a veggie omelet. Wife gets ham and eggs. Seems to be good quality at a great value. The prices here are cheap. The service is fantastic. The servers are very friendly and responsive. A lot of Yelpers have complimented the biscuits and gravy. I'm no expert. But my wife, who is from North Carolina, is. She says they're ok, but nothing to write home about. 3 stars for food. This is one of my dad's favorite places, so we've gone with him a handful of times, for various meals...bfast is OK, but can get the same at other places and it's the same or better...sandwiches are super greasy unless you ASK for your bread NOT to be buttered...tacos are hit or miss on whether the shells will be stale or not...most of the servers are good & friendly, with a couple of exceptions, one of the male servers, and an older lady who leaves alot to be desired in her customer service skills, and she has some memory problems it seems-not the best trait to have in this field...Overall, food not impressive, and can get better service elsewhere...I don't really reccomend it...The only reason I ever go is to appease my father...and the food is...edible. Have been coming here for years sadly had a poor experience today. Ordered specifically the lemon cake not pie 2 days ago for birthdays today. When I arrived I was told they placed my order as lemon supreme instead of lemon delight so now I have lemon pie. No apology, just " this order says lemon supreme it's a pie". Local favorite place for breakfast, growing up in Chino it's a been a staple in my diet before every major test growing up that I had to take. Nice hearty portions, at reasonable prices. Inflations cause the prices to slowly go up which is a bummer, but it was always nice to have good solid meal before a big day. I was so surprise when I walked in here could not believe my eyes! This is not a soul food restaurant? And there was no where to park so that let us to believe that it was going to be very busy and delicious? Wrong! Great place for morning breakfast. Food was amazing. Much better than Corky's or Guastis. Their food was a lot more flavorful compared to the other two, they just don't serve as much as Guasti does but it does fill you up, and it is relatively cheap. If you come here you should definitely try their breakfast burrito and flo's skillet. Their hot links are an explosion of flavor. I'm a chino local and finally went today for the first time. The decor is a Lil out dated but over all the service was great! I had my 1year old with me. When the server noticed that I was giving my drink to my daughter she offered me a cup with a lid/straw so that I can pour it into. Then when food came out she brought an extra plate! I can see that she gets these type of request all the time when there is small children at the table. Server Lindsey was super nice and I really appreciate the way she made me feel when she took my daughter into consideration. Not all "family" restaurants cater to families. The food was delicious. Flo's is great ... it's an awesome diner with a great cozy, down home feel. The food is good and filling, nothing spectacular on the menu that would merit a 5-star rating, but it's just good, old fashioned down home cooking. I haven't been there for any other meal other than breakfast, so I can't comment on the lunch/dinner fare. The biscuits and gravy are their signature dish, but I'm a big fan of the waffles with a side of bacon.
