This place is hard to find within Desert Ridge. The pizza was very greasy, the Caesar salad tasteless, the fried chicken fingers were fair and all the sauces were VERY salty. The only redemption were the crispy Brussel sprouts but I would not go out of my way to get them again. It is a serve-yourself place where they give you a number and bring it to you. I ordered a regular size pizza (8" ?) 2 topping and a diet coke..and it was over $30! I don't mind paying high prices if the food is good, but the pizza was mediocre at best. Pretty skimpy with toppings for the price. The dough was pale and doughy with no flavor. The sauce was bland and flavorless. In general, very forgettable except for the price. I took the entire family and relatives visiting from out of the country to Fly Bye last week and the consensus was that food was very disappointing and the value proposition very poor. Food was packaged and prepared upon arrival. The flower child pizza had fresh vegetables and herbs - refreshing summer pizza. We placed an online order 4 hours before pickup and still waited 55 mins in the store for an undercooked pizza. Their chicken tenders were tiny and their crinkle fries were not crispy or flavorful. Unfortunately, it's total chaos in there and they didn't offer a discount or complimentary soda or dessert...nothing to make up for the almost 1 hour wait. We tried fly bye last night and had to give an honest review. Solid 3/5 - we tried a few different things to really feel it out and we love fox restaurants! This one is similar to their concept dough bird- pizza and chicken. We got 2 Detroit pizzas the pepperoni and a create your own cream sauce,prosciutto, truffle mushroom. And the 5 pieces chicken meal with fries and copy cake sauce. The pepperoni had dollops of sauce and the sauce flavor was veryyy store bought but it wasn't bad. The truffle one was very good and I would order that again! The chicken and fries were as if canes became more restaurant style cooked- they were really good! Nothing was great but being close to our house it's convenient. The reason we won't go back is because of the price, it was $62 for our meal. We got the smaller size pizza for both and they are basically personal size at $18 & $24 that's pricey. The chicken meal was $16 so again pricey. For something that is just walk up and order and go we can go sit down somewhere else for that. All in all it didn't blow us away everything was fine but the prices are just way too high for what it is read more

I wanted to like this place. Really. My wife and I love pizza and wings. The wings were dried out and sauce salty. The pizza had no flavor except for the salty pepperoni. The sauce was almost not present. And the cheese was bland. My wife said she no longer feels hungry is the best thing she can say about it. The price is 47 dollars for one 16" pizza and 12 wings. Carry out. My tongue is still tingling from the salt. I had really hoped to have a great pizza place at Desert ridge. We won't be returning to this place. First went to Fly Bye 6 months ago and it was fine but had no reason too continue Recently I returned and soon realized that they were a cut above from food taste to service. Maybe not the cheapest it definitely worth a few $ more Then I discovered the Monday and Tuesday on line order specials and yes they do offer deep discounts on those days. Each visit we have expanded from what we normally order and are never disappointed. OK maybe one small error on one order but nothing horrible. Writing now because WE ERRED on our order entry, we meant to order crispy Brussel sprouts, if you never tried it's a must, but instead ordered the brussel sprout SALAD, our error. When I picked up our order and realized I had the wrong item but then realized it was our error the restaurant people were so polite and said keep the salad and we will make what you want give us a few minutes. I tried to politely refuse the extra serving but was told they make everything as it's ordered and not to worry. Employee was so quick to respond and satisfy me I felt I had to post something. Watching the staff handle the phone, customers and prepare orders in such an orderly manner that they deserve a well done read more

Best Detroit style pizza I've had in Phoenix. Also the best chicken strips I've had in Phoenix. Their fries are incredible too! I think the bad reviews are mostly because IPhone navigation messes up and takes you to the wrong spot. This place is located northwest on the other side of the mall next to Albertsons. Stopped in for lunch as I'm a big wing fan. Ordered 12 wings, fries and a small bottle of lemonade. The wings were good, crispy, if a little salty. My issue is the bill came out to $33. Hard for me to justify the cost. I would go back to try the pizza if more reasonably priced. read more

Absolutely delicious!!! There should be absolutely no reason whatsoever why this restaurant has 3 stars. 5 stars all the way. The pizza is some of the best I've had as well as the chicken, just spectacular! The only thing I can think of as to why they have 3 stars is maybe because the navigation doesn't lead directly to the location (which is right next to Albertsons), it takes you to the mall entrance. I think people are letting their emotions get to them when that happens and just takes it out on the restaurant. We had it for the first time yesterday and it was so good that we had to go back for more today. And we don't exactly live the closest to this area, that says something. read more

I went with a friend for her six year old daughters birthday and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the cauliflower bowl and the Brussels sprouts salad. Both had excellent flavor and fresh ingredients. Her daughter wanted the chicken tenders which she claimed were the crispiest she had ever had. We also shared the Lebanese Mom pizza which was perfect because the cheese was a feta yogurt base and dolloped in perfect amounts across the dough so you got just enough without it being too much. We have been waiting for the opening for the past month or so and finally had a chance to try Fly Bye for the first time last night....and it did not disappoint. Family ordered curbside---chicken tenders, detroit style pizza, and a salad. Not sure if the convenience of curbside or the food was better. We loved the pizza--The Brookly with sausage, pepperoni, and bacon--while the kids went for the chicken tenders. Kids are already asking for tenders again tongiht! My wife and I stopped in the Fly Bye restaurant located in the Desert Ridge marketplace this evening to see what they had to offer. We started with their Caesar salad which was delicious and large enough to split. A nice salad, plenty of dressing and topped with some amazing croutons. We followed that up with a Detroit Style Pan Italian sausage pizza and a Black Truffle Mushroom Detroit Style pan pizza. Both of these were delicious. The light crisp Detroit style pan crust is simply amazing. We had a beer and a root beer from the refreshment stand which included a few types of beers, plenty of sodas and choices of wine. Topped all that off with a triple chocolate cookie and simply enjoyed the entire meal. We chose to eat at the restaurant which would comfortably seat 25 to 30. Plenty of staff make sure your food gets prepared in a timely manner and also takes care of a large quantity of takeout orders. It's more of a self service inside restaurant where you gather your water, silverware, plates and napkins on your own and take them back to your table which frankly I don't mind. All in all a great experience I highly recommend everyone give it a try. read more
