Stopped by for dinner on a week night and was blown away by everything here! The inside is spacious with lots of seating. There is one woman who runs the whole restaurant and she is amazing and such a vibe! The soda/side dishes/veggies/rice are all self serve, which we loved. Got three large orders of pork belly and three soups. The pork belly tastes super clean, all the side dishes are home made and amazing, and the soups were flavorful. She also makes a delicious fried rice at the end with the leftover pork. Found our new go to spot for pork belly. Dreaming of the next time I come back already!

Amazing!! $89 for the pork and beef combo. Comes with standard banchan which seemed homemade and all tasted great. There was one soup at the open banchan table where you can get as much as you want and then you can choose between kimchi soup or soy bean soup. We got the kimchi. Super salty but great flavor. Then they have the leaves I love and everything was fresh. The owner was amazing, so very kind and welcoming. So you start w the korean pancake, followed by meat. Once you're done with the meat they give you kimchi rice which was awesome. We were full with 2 people and could have easily fed 3. Perhaps could have fed 4 if they weren't big eaters or supplemented w less meat and more sides. Really good experience and highly recommend!

Omg, this spot is so homey! I had seen this spot on a social media post so my family and I went in on Sunday for dinner. The cutest lady was working so hard by herself! She was so so kind and explained the menu and all the components and it felt like having your own mom looking out for you to ensure you eat enough! We went with the galbi and pork belly combo. It included a vegetable pancake, tofu soup, & kimchi fried rice! There is also a self serve banchan and drink area (all included). She was so awesome holding it down by herself! We didn't feel like it was taking too long or anything and there were 3 parties present at the time. You can tell she cares and loves what she does! Will definitely come back and will bring some friends and family!

The wife and I decided to give this place a shot and honestly really glad we did. Tons of parking in the back, super easy. The place itself is clean and well lit. We ordered the pork and ribs combo for 2-3 people ($89) and the portion was huge. Easily feeds 3 heavy eaters or 4 lighter ones. They also have really good homemade banchan and solid veggie options. I love water parsley and perilla leaves and they pair really well with the meat. There's also soups you can grab from the banchan bar which was a nice touch. Meal starts with a seafood pancake as an appetizer, then they bring out a big skillet of pork belly and ribs, followed by a kimchi stew in a hot stone pot. Everything was really good. At the end they made kimchi fried rice for us which was a great finisher, but we were already stuffed so most of that went to go. Honestly we barely made a dent, still had a lot of food left over. Best part though was the service. The owner is super nice, gives off that "everyone's mom" vibe. She makes sure you're taken care of and leave full and satisfied. We went on a Monday night so it was a little slow, but they're new so that's expected. I can see this place getting busy pretty soon. If you're thinking about it, just go check it out. Definitely worth it.

Step into aunties kitchen for not just good ribs and pork belly but veggies and banchans for your fill. Self serve bar is convenient and really in all honesty, auntie chef is too busy for that. When we went we were the only ones there and so was she. She was so sweet to walk us through the menu, taught us how to eat each dish and serviced us 100%. Then the crowd came in. It's amazing watching her balance it all- she's a one woman team from ordering to service to payment. The guests ended up going to the counter to pick up their pancakes and serve each other. It was quite heartwarming. We were like all her little children she was feeding, strangers but became family at the end. It was really cute. The place is simple and clean and can seat larger parties, if need. The food was on point and you could feel aunties heart go into the dishes. We wanted to add tip but she didn't let us. Instead, she said to just bring more people. So there you have it- doing my piece to share this little gem of good food and good vibes for your belly

The restaurant hasn't been open long, but I really hope they stay open for many years. We had the 미나리 삼겹살 and after a long day, it really hit the spot. We're from Chicago and staying in Palm Springs but went all the way out there to eat their pork belly. The trip was worth it. I don't see many self-service stations for side dishes but this place had it. The side dishes were so delicious and the lettuce, perilla leaves, and 미나리 were so fresh. The service we got from the owner made our night. She is so sweet and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we stepped in to the moment we stepped out.

When my wife has a craving for LA Galbi, I do my best to fulfill it. It was too late to cook it myself and we did not want an AYCE Kbbq so I remember seeing this fairly new Korean Restaurant called Ribs & Pork Belly. I wasn't sure where it was so I just trusted Yelp to give me the directions and off we went. I wasn't sure truly surprised when it took me to the old Three Amigos Taco Shop that we used to go to a lot back in the day. So we entered and a lovely older Korean Lady greeted us, sat us and right away asked if we want pork belly or the short ribs or half and half. We agreed to the half and half and then she proceeded to tell us, go get food. Meaning the self serve banchan, and some other sides like a delicious pork belly tofu soup and a pumpkin or squash soup. I loved the pork tofu soup. I could have gotten full on just that alone. Fairly quickly, the LA Galbi beef short ribs and the sliced pork belly on a hot and sizzling wok grill that was placed on our table to continue to stay warm on the fiery butane stove. She continued to bring out green onion pancake, some fresh kimchi and kimchi cucumbers, sliced green onions with sesame oil. She was so excited to see us enjoy the food and noticed we knew what to do do she continued to bring out more stuff like fish cake soup and kimchi Jjigae. So much food. Then later she came back to see how we were doing and we still were not done with the ribs or pork belly, so she suggested to pack it to go. She took away the wok and the green onions, but later came back with some hot kimchee fried rice cooking on the same wok. Needles to say we could not finish it all. We obviously had to take all the left over food for take away to enjoy tomorrow. Sad our taco shop closed down, but super glad we found another Korean restaurant gem of a find. Service and food were excellent. I think the only draw back is the language barrier as she did not speak a lot of English. The language barrier however will not stop me from going back. In fact I will just bring my Korean speaking friend out to lunch or dinner for free, just to be our translator.

Was planning to go to another restaurant, but couldn't find it, stumble into this restaurant late at night about an hour before its closing time. It was surprisingly good. It is a set dinner, for the main, you can choose from galbi, pork or combinations. Comes with a seafood pancake and stew of your choice. And then the sodas, banchan, veggie, pumpkin soup, tteok bokki are self served and AYCE If you order the pork belly or the combo, it will end with a yummy kimchi fried rice. Only down side is the lady only speak broken english, there might be some communication issue, so it requires some patience, but she is extremely friendly and sweet, trying her best to explain to us. Will definitely go back to try their raw beef and pear!

Went back again and had a great meal. We ordered just the pork belly as that was our favorite. This time I tried the soups as she has two different soups you can have with your meal. Both were really good as I never had pumpkin soup before. She also brought out more types of kimchee for us to try as she generally really wanted to make sure we like her food . She honestly makes you feel like you're an invited guest at her home.

Minari is a hard to get vegetable. It is known for being super tasty and almost tastes sweet. It paired very well with the meat.

Absolutely delicious and mostly, EXTREMELY CLEAN FACILITY. The lady of the house was very sweet and I could tell that she deeply cares about her business. It's relatively a small restaurant and she is the only one working. The music playlist was old school 90's and Y2K Korean songs and it made me feel like i was at an actual restaurant in Korea. The vegetables were very fresh! Not a single stem was browning. The self-serving bar was almost medical grade sterile. Not a single dust was present. I don't eat that much veggies but all the veggies were so fresh that they tasted almost sweet. The lady also served the pan-fried Korean pancake, and other side dishes were exceptional. I highly recommend if you are not an AYCE type of a person and looking for a quality food with quality ingredients. PS: portion was gigantic.

Decided to go here on a whim after seeing a tiktok about it and I am so happy we decided to go because it was delicious. 80 dollars for 2-3 people for the Pork belly meal felt like an incredible deal. I had gone with just my wife and it easily could have fed another person. You get a seafood pancake, porkbelly with rice cakes, thin sliced marinated green onions, and after all that, fried rice and soup. Everything here aside from main dishes is self service. There's a bar full of sides that are delicious and a fridge full of beverages and even a side table to make yourself some tea or coffee. The whole place was being run by a single woman who was trucking through serving everyone so please be patient! She was so kind and grateful for the business. We had tried to help bus our own table but she wouldn't let us. She encouraged us to take more sides with our leftovers. There was a bit of a language barrier but her kindness and warmth was easily conveyed to through her service. Absolutely will be coming back to support her and get more delicious food

Came here recently and the pork belly was sooo good, crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Definitely the kind of dish you keep thinking about after you leave. Also gotta mention the aunty who was serving. She was the only one running around and you could tell she was busy, but she still made sure we were taken care of. Super attentive and really kind the whole time, which I appreciated. Food was great, but her service honestly made the whole experience even better.

I'd never been there before, so this review is all about first impressions. As we approached, the sign caught my attention: "Under New Ownership." Outside, an employee sat scrolling on his phone. It was a quiet Sunday around 3 PM, and we were the only patrons in sight. Checking Yelp beforehand had been a bit of a letdown, as their menu featured items they no longer offer. No links were available either. We ordered half a pound of pulled pork, half a pound of brisket, and four pieces of cornbread--all priced reasonably. Their tap selection turned out to be decent. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange was a standout, and they also seemed to carry Firestone Walker products, including 805. The staff were friendly and responsive, which was refreshing. While the brisket had cooled by the time we got home, it was still tender and flavorful--just like the pulled pork. The real surprise? The chimichurri that accompanied the brisket--an unexpected and delightful touch. Overall, I'd rate the experience as average. While it's clear they've got potential, a bit more effort could turn Wholly Smokes into a go-to spot. Leaning in on those small details would really elevate the experience.
