Why respond to this post if you genuinely don't care about your customers? To make it worse? I'll update if they do respond. We drove up from Florida to visit family - as we do several times a year - and realized it was time for an oil change. We chose this location based on ratings and proximity to where our family reside. Huge mistake! While we were in line, we noticed a pregnant female extremely upset because the tech caused "$7,000 in damage to her car" and the store refused to make it right. They were telling her to leave the store because she was causing a scene - that should have been the red flag we needed. But it wasn't my business and I don't know the entire story. We paid for full syn oil change + tire rotation, and asked them to air up the tires in our brand new 2024 Subaru to which they agreed. I noticed while they were rotating the tires in our AWD vehicle that they did not do so in diagonal pattern as is the correct way. I pointed it out and the lead guy on site. Manager? Said "that's how we always do it." So instead of apologizing, or better yet, knowing how to properly perform a service they charge $30 for, he profers a lame excuse. They did agree to correct their mistake. How many unsuspecting vehicle owners have they done this to if it's how they always do it? This can lead to blowouts and unexpected accidents in the future!! So I get in the car because "it's all done," and I asked if they filled the tires with air as we had one that was very low. He tells me yes and that the fluids were topped off, tires were rotated and oil was changed. I turned the car on and the tire sensor was still on indicating it wasn't done. He says "they must have forgotten." So they finally air up the tires, I pay $112 and head on my way. I get home and pop the hood and notice they didn't top off ANY of the fluids, not only that but all of my after market metal valve stem covers were missing. We had to buy new fluids to top them off and just purchased new stem covers on Amazon. Highly disappointed in unprofessionalism, dishonesty and severe lack of customer service. I'd love to speak to the owner should they be interested in reaching out for more info.

Let's start with I am seriously a tough critic and hard to please (check my reviews) as I believe…read moremost shops or people are out to rip you off. I usually do my own repairs but let's face it 2021 has been cold and I am getting too old to lay on the ground in the wintertime. I knew I needed a starter in my van as it had been acting up lately, I finally broke down and called a handful of shops. The first one that intrigued me was this shop, Midas on Kent rd., as the gentleman on the phone was kind, courteous, very helpful and quoted me a price over the phone for what I wanted fixed. My experience from the time I dropped off the van until I picked up the van was also very pleasant; I noticed the phone being answered on time and the employees stayed constantly working and courteous to the customers. When I spoke with the manager "Jason" (I think) there were no shenanigans, the van was fixed, and everything looked great. I will visit this Midas again with this staff, in my experience it's the people that make the company. Thanks Midas.

I used to bring 3 vehicles to this shop. I have spent close to $10k in the last 8 months at this…read moreshop. Recently, I sent my son in with his vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation. As always, it turned out to be $1400 due to new brakes and a new arm control. When he first brought the car home, I noticed all four tires still needed air. Used to be a customer service norm here to fill tires with air but apparently, not anymore. Three days later, my son was driving to GA and the tire with the new arm control started making noise. A repair shop in GA explained the new control arm was not tightened. Also, it was discovered the engine was only filled to 50% capacity with oil. I immediately went into Midas to express my concern and disappointment. I spoke to the manager on duty who apologized but claimed there was no way these issues could be a result of their work. He also had no explanation for how else this could have occurred. I was told the actual store manager would call me in the morning. Two hours later, my son (not me) received a call from the store manager. He apologized and said he would speak to the Regional Manager and "make this right". He said he would call my son back in the morning. We are still waiting for that call and that was 4 weeks ago. I have to assume that the Regional Manager decided that this shop couldn't have be responsible for this negligence and putting my son's life at risk and chose to ignore us. At this point, I don't want an apology, nor a phone call or any other offer. I simply want my card credited the $1400 and the cost of the GA shop to finish what I had already paid them to do. So, if you choose to take your vehicle to this Midas or any Midas really, consider yourself warned.
