I am highly impressed by this place not just by the food but by the environment and the employees! They truly deserve this five stars. Even during the busy times of a lunch rush and dinner. They serve you quick, all while being very accommodating and knowledgeable when answering your questions. Now on to the food; I got a regular Poké bowl 9.99 (not a bad price other places charge me like 12-13 a bowl). Base: half brown rice and half spinach w/ cilantro lime vinaigrette dressing. Protein: FOB sauce (I'm a shoyu girl but this sauce was bomb, highly recommend) w/ seared ahi and regular ahi. They did the seared ahi right! It had a raw center and a smoky outer layer of deliciousness. Toppings: I got it all, and that hard to come by! They usually give you either seaweed salad or imitation crab not both. And trust me I took advantage and got all the works!! They even top it off with dried seaweed, fried onion, garlic, and etc. you can have all that too! Overall, I'm coming back! My favorite place to get poke in Seattle. The fish is really fresh and the service is incredibly streamlined and fast. Their FOB coconut rice is the bomb, and they have an option for half rice half salad on the menu (which is my preferred option). I usually get the fob sauce with some spicy mayo mixed in. I love FOB, it popped up in the poke rush of 2017-18 and I've continued to visit. I refer to it as the chipotle of poke, as you always get what you want how you like it. The portions are pretty great for the price (hello crab scoops), and quality enough to warrant return visits. Love that they're on MealPal as well. read more

Overall good! The service was helpful, the food seemed fresh, and there was an awesome variety of free toppings to choose from, which made our bowl really flavorful! This is a very good poke bar. The portions are great. The toppings are numerous and they give a good amount. The furikake and crispy toppings are nice burst of flavor and texture. Absolutely love this place. They have similar places like this in Hawaii where I was born and raised but got to be honest, hands down FOB poke bar beats them. It was semi busy when we walked in, looked like the seats were all taken so we ordered to go. Easy to order as they display the steps to order in front when you walk in and on the wall. Super quick and easy to order. The food tasted amazing. Got the regular size base was white rice with ahi poke and beef tataki. With the FOB sauce since it's their signature sauce. Added everything except the jalapeños for the 3th/4th step. Then topped it with edamame, fried garlic, furikake, spicy crabmeat and avocado(like guacamole, it's extra). Great service and greater selection of fish than other poke places in Seattle. They had salmon, seared ahi tuna, albacore, yellowtail, scallops and shrimp (maybe a few others). Their fishes were fresh, but they weren't seasonal like my other favorite poke place, so it kinda brought me down at the first looking at their menu, however, they had a lot more options on everything else: rice, veggies, sauces and toppings. The FOB rice was really good! Very flavorful and tasty that was a big plus for me who is so bored of typical white rice. And, they also had miso soup, for FREE!!!! So I got a regular size (9.99) of FOB rice with salmon, scallop and an addition of eel ($2) and all kinds of veggies and toppings. That was such a great deal since I still ended up with 3 types of meat and it included eel/unagi (big fan of this in sushi places). Their menu was easy to follow so I just picked everything step by step without thinking too long of what I was gonna have. Overall, this is a good place for anyone who likes tons of sides on their poke like me, so I will definitely come back sometimes. read more

We found this little joint last minute because it was 9:15pm and really wanted a poke bowl. Gladly, this was the only one open late & IM SO GLAD WE GAVE IT A TRY. From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed. They customized bowls for my kids (who are picky eaters) & for $9.99 you can get a two-choice bowl with all the toppings you want! Sometimes three starts means sure, not bad. Sometimes three stars means meh. This time I'll say meh. The shrimp was undercooked so you didn't get that nice pop you get from biting into cooked shrimp. I had spam, I know it's salty that's why I don't buy spam anymore, but since it's Hawaiian I went for it. I think if the pieces were smaller and seared, it would have been much better. My son got the salmon, and when I asked what kind, the guy said, "Canadian salmon." I said okay but what Kind of salmon is it, and he didn't know what I meant. A small amount of research and it is probably farmed Atlantic salmon. Gross. A little taste of it stuck to my palate for way too long. Anyway, the toppings were great. Great place for a quick lunch. Fish is fairly fresh. They use fairly small scoops of poke, so if you're a larger person you might still be hungry afterwards. Pretty filling for me though. There are a bunch of complaints about pricing, but given this place's location the prices are pretty good. Ordered two regular bowls for about 22 dollars. The overall bowl is a good bang for your buck. There is a step by step process. I got the FOB coconut rice....not impressive and no coconut flavor. And the spring mix base. I agree with other Yelpers, the sauces do nothing for the bowl. In fact, the packets of soy sauce and sriracha add more flavor to the bowl than the sauces. For proteins we both chose the salmon and tuna. They were both fresh tasting but not plentiful in portions. Then the sides...and you had so much to choose from!! This added bulk to your bowl and made it a filling meal. Love jicama but it did absolutely nothing for this meal and I wouldn't add it again. The add ins had crunch, sweetness, some salty....rounded out the bowls well. Service was fast and functional and a line built out the door. With that kind of business, no surprise there wasnt seating. It's not a place to linger and savor meal. Eat and get out for the next guest. read more

As a frequent poké eater, I can attest that FOB Poke Bar is a place to create a festive poké bowl. Reasons? Unlimited topping options with choices of 2 proteins (3 will be extra) and various dressing to put underneath as well as on top of your toppings.
