Our table did not receive the mashed potatoes, and I do not recall any other table also receiving them.) Cheesecake Brûlée New York Style cheesecake torched with caramelized sugar, served over a rich berry sauce. Single Churrasco Cut, Picanha ($43) includes the Market Table & Feijoada Bar and Brazilian sides Brunch Cocktail + Wine Espresso x2 Fogo De Chão is located at the corner of Imperial and State College. I remember seeing this entire plaza being built, and especially with Fogo as the most recent addition. They have All Day Happy Hour, and everything looks delicious on that menu as well - such a great deal! I had not been to a Brazilian Churrasco restaurant in quite a long time, remember to use the provided tongs to grab your meat when they slice the meat at your table. The grilled pineapple is also available to all, as it is part of the Market Table & Feijoada Bar and Brazilian sides. Food The food was delicious and lots of it! Had to "roll" me out of the restaurant after our meal as I normally do not tend to eat this much. There were many items I liked in the Market Table & Feijoada Bar and Brazilian sides. Service The servers were polite, but pretentious (and provided resistance verbally and physically). "Professional" but not genuine. (It seems like everybody that I have talked to regarding my first time experience with service here, friends and coworkers, only one person noted great service, everybody else was in agreement with the "not so great" service here at Fogo, which I think may not be a big deal to them due to how busy they are as they will always be packed.) The meat/grilled pineapple servers were nicer and friendlier than the servers. When you needed someone, they were never there but when you did not need them, they were suddenly there. If you have plates that need to be cleared, it usually sits on the table for awhile until they pick them up (even if you were one of the first tables there with barely any body else there), and even if the servers stopped by to ask "how everything is." It is like avoidance of looking at the table, only attentive if one needs to order something = more $ for the restaurant. Priorities. Also, since I knew I couldn't finish everything, I ordered an Entrée, where I can take the meat home. I asked the server for a box, and she said "we do not have boxes." When she saw my Picanha token, she revised it and said "let me grab a box." No apologies or anything, just statements. Since we were both stuffed to the brim, I also asked for a box for the rest of the Cheesecake Brûlée, and I also faced resistance again. Also, my friend ordered her espresso first and received a saucer, an espresso, and sweeteners (if needed). Upon realizing that we were still a bit short of spending most of the gift card, I also ordered an espresso. I received an espresso (no saucer). Yes, I received what I ordered but how is my order different than my friend's? Yes, these are little things (or gestures) but for a bill at almost $200 (with tax and tip), I would have liked to feel a bit more welcomed. I am not asking for big, grand gestures, but little things add up. Interior It is very tightly spaced on the inside. Literally if you stuck your arm out just a few inches from your table, you would touch the table next to you. There is not much privacy in terms of conversations since everyone is seated so close to each other. Restroom (broken door handle) Not only was the counter full of used paper towels, the door handle was broken - like loosely hanging, hanging on for dear life. I literally feared that I would get stuck in that stall. One of the automatic soap dispensers was either out or broken, so there was an additional soap dispenser near the sink. For a restaurant that just opened at 11 am, the "care" or lack thereof for the restroom was also unappealing. Parking This plaza is beyond ridiculous with its parking spots for the amount of storefronts there are. For an early reservation, the plaza parking lot was already packed with cars. Be sure to read the signs around the parking lot just in case. Overall, the food is great and the prices are reasonable, but the service and parking makes me hesitant to return. read more

My friend and I wanted to check out Fogo for their $10 all day happy hour burger and MAN is it pretty worth. You go self seat at the bar and you can find all day happy hour menu. We didn't check out alcoholic drinks but I skimmed the menu and saw plenty of cocktails around $10 and beers for $6. Now comes the burger, and man first impression it was just dripping in juice. The actual meat patty was huge and will definitely fill you up. I would say the 1 piece romaine lettuce was less than optimal for a burger but it can be overlooked. The fries are necessarily your regular fries but fried polenta that they typically serve in the typical experience. Overall I'd say this burger is incredible value with how much food you get for $10 which you can't beat these days. Greg the bartender is amazing and he's the reason I will be back!! I dined solo and made me feel welcome right away. I've heard about the Happy Hour deal and wanted to see for myself (I mean Happy Hour all day every day is unbeatable) I went solo and got seated right away at the bar. It was pretty packed for Sunday around 1pm (parking was difficult to find at that time) but got served water immediately and after Greg took my order he brought over some of the delicious cheesy breads. The burger came very quickly, which is awesome since they were so busy. I loved how juicy the burger was and it's a huge portion. The polenta fries are delicious, super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The restaurant itself is a little loud, since it's just an open room. I'm veeery disappointed We stopped by Fogo de Chão before celebrating my husband's birthday. We didn't have a reservation, but they seated us fairly quickly, which was a nice start Unfortunately, the service after that was very disappointing. Our server came over,took our drink order, and then basically disappeared. We waited around 30 minutes just to place our food order. My husband ordered the Full Churrasco Experience, while I wasn't feeling well and only wanted to try the roasted bone marrow. Even that took about another 30 minutes to arrive My husband did get to eat, but even with the churrasco experience, the servers carrying the meats seemed to pass our table quite often. When they did stop, most of the meat offered was rare, which he doesn't really eat. The biggest issue was that throughout the evening it was almost impossible to find our server. Even if I had decided to order something else I honestly wouldn't have been able to because there was simply no one around to take the order. Even when we were ready to leave, we waited quite a while just to get the check. Eventually, we had to stop another server and ask them to bring it because at that point I simply wanted to leave as soon as possible. The food itself was ok,but the overall experience was frustrating because of the long waits and lack of attention. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a much better level of service. Came here for a friend's birthday and in the end I can't believe this place was so busy and packed, I believe every table was filled and it was an early weekday dinner. Then I forgot it's still summer. This is a Brazilian-style steakhouse where they bring random meats to your table and ask if you would like them. But since the place was so full the meats would literally be gone by the time it came around to the other side. Overall I would say this place is alright but maybe come when it isn't so busy. They also have a salad bar that is decked with a ton of vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, fruits, and salad as well. So this was a date night with a couple of YELP Elites that I known for forever. We decided to do dinner and they chose Fogo de Chao. What a great choice, This restaurant was amazing Me and the Mister got there early so we got a decent parking space. The parking is cramped but they offer valet parking for $10.00. The restaurant is located in a very busy parking lot so be prepared to drive around valet park. The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful. It is large with beautiful windows and amazing lighting. They have a smaller back room where we were seated. We had I believe three servers. Omar being our main server. He was funny and helpful. He explained how the Churrasco worked ($78) and the difference between that and an entree. Me and my fellow yelpers order the Churrasco and my Mister ordered Chilean Sea Bass, his go to.. All meals come with the amazing salad bar. That in itself is a whole Yelp review. Salad bar had everything and I mean everything. There were salad choices, fruit (even dragonfruit). They had peppers, cheeses, salamis, soups, black beans and rice, and olives. All the Misters favorites. Being such a bready how did forget the bread the started us off with. It was a delicious cheesy bread. The also have a bar for those of you who drink. After you get your salad bar the bring you mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and plantains. All delicious. By now I guess you are wondering where the beef. Then it starts. You get a little card thats red on one side and green on the other. Once you flip it to green the meat starts coming and it doesn't stop until you flip the card to the red side. Meat selection included Brazilian sausage, filet mignon, chicken, lamb, steak wrapped in pork, bone in ribeye, and picanha (what they are known for). When I say it was a lot it was a lot. However, the same usually cannot be said for the FULL CHURRASCO dining experience for $79/person. This was probably my 10th time attending a birthday dinner at this Brea location, and the food is never good. The meat tastes bland (lacks seasoning) and the only thing that ever tasted good is their Tomato Bisque. I came here tonight and even the bread was rock hard. We paid $54 without tip for Best of Brazil and I don't necessarily think it was the best of Brazil. They have a large salad bar in the center but with a crowd it's difficult to get around all the tables. The food had little to no seasoning. We asked for salt which has saved a lot of the meat. But we barely got any meat with the slivers they served. Service was okay it was a little chaotic some people even shoulder checked into us and meat juices spilled on our lap. I don't know if it's worth it to go here. Not worth the price the outside looks nice but for the money I'm sure you can get a large picanha and cook it way better than the restaurant and save money. A $500 dinner should never end with the customer having to beg for basic service, and then beg again for a response from management. I brought my friends here for one of their birthdays because I had always spoken highly of Fogo de Chao. I've been to this location 4+ times before, including my own birthday just a few weeks earlier, so I was feeling confident this would be a great choice. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We arrived on time for our 7:45 PM reservation for 4 and were seated around 8:00 PM. After the initial service sit-down, our table was essentially forgotten. The meat-servers repeatedly walked past us without stopping, even though we had our green coasters up. We had to flag them down just to get food. We received only about five pieces of meat during the entire meal, including the times we stopped them to ask. Our server, Emma, disappeared for nearly an hour. No one checked on us, cleared our dishes, replaced a drink, or asked if we wanted additional drinks or sides. We we were only able to get 2 rounds of drinks the entire night, since nobody came around for refills/orders, despite us wanting more. I finally went to the front to ask what happened.. I was told our server might be on break. Nobody informed us, and nobody stepped in to take care of our table. "We work as a team" said the sassy server whom I asked where our server is... Yeah? A team? If you did, you would've checked in on our table or told us that your "team" member was going to step away. The most frustrating part was that this was a birthday celebration. We had requested the birthday tres leches for our friend, and because our server was MIA, the other server was unaware of it. Yeah you keep working as a team girlie, you're doing great. When we mentioned we haven't been served, they asked if we'd like any specific meats. We asked for picanha and lamb. And yet again, WE NEVER RECEIVED THEM. They then later came by and cleared all of our plates. I directly asked the other server removing our plates if they wanted us to leave. Genuinely so awkward and uncomfortable. They brought us new plates after that weird conversation, and by the end of that whole interaction, two people in our party had lost their appetite and I was ashamed for bringing everyone to this establishment. Our bill was around $500. After the experience, I emailed management and followed up twice over the next few weeks. I used the Contact form on their website, and followed up twice via the email info@fogo.com I found on their website. I never received a response or even an acknowledgement. Unacceptable service, unacceptable experience, unacceptable communication skills. I understand busy nights happen, but being forgotten for most of a $500 meal, being sassed by a server who is definitely not working as a team, and then completely ignored afterward is flat out unacceptable. The menu offerings include small bites for $6 and other discounted items. The most popular is the $10 burger with polenta fries. It was so delicious and cooked just right. We were approached by a server, but as it's customary, you really don't know who your server is at Fogo, but today it was worse. I know they work as a team, but the customer service today was not up to par. We ended up getting two full churrascos and two single cut churrascos for two kids (one teenager and one 10 yr old). For the single cut churrascos, you choose only one cut and that is what they will only bring you, which we knew. BUT, the two full churrascos, we literally only got offered the sirloin, filet mignon, garlic steak, and steak wrapped in bacon. None of the other options included: chicken, lamb, rib eye, etc, were brought to the table. We also never got the halloumi cheese, which we love. Only one side of mashed potatoes, polenta fries and banana, for 4 people. We had to hunt someone down for refills, and we were so annoyed we finished a few rounds and asked for the bill. I understand the shift change, I used to a server, but fogo is not cheap and to pay $300+, for half the meats that are included in your order is upsetting. We have been to fogo when it's super busy on a Saturday night, and maybe that's when you get the service and meats your entree deserves. It's going to a while before we come back. My husband and I came here while on our keto diet and like most Fogo de Chao locations, this one did not disappoint. The keto selections in the Market section was fantastic. They did not have bleu cheese when we went as first but the server was phenomenal and brought some out from the back when my husband asked. When the team saw our eating lag due to us waiting for specific meat items, they asked us what we prefer and sent it out straight from the kitchen (the baked cheese, filet mignon, and ribeye). But try not to eat too much of that or you won't be able to enjoy all the other stuff. The salad bar has many items to choose from. It has different salads, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, soup, beans and rice. My favorite was the maple glazed bacon. From previous visits at the Downtown location, I really like their fresh fruits. It is usually very ripe and sweet. Unfortunately the fresh fruits were not very good at this visit/location. They were not sweet. It cannot be that all the fruits were not in season. None of the following fruits I had were sweet: pineapple, papaya, dragon fruit, kiwi. Our server was friendly and attentive. She offered me a complimentary dessert for my birthday. A vegetarian at a steakhouse?! Yes, it IS possible but I was NOT impressed. Upon entering, we were told the next open seating time would be about 40 minutes. We opted to wait but the hostess made it seem like we needed a reservation to even be there. Whatever. Once we were seated, our server explained the process and took our orders. I opted for the seared tofu as an entree and added the market table. Everything at the market table & feijoada bar was bare and needed to be replenished. Every item was nearly empty down to the bowls and plates. Once I was able to actually get some food, I noticed several patrons just walk up, grab food items (bacon, fruit, bread etc) with their bare hands and walk away. SMH The seared tofu entree I ordered was bland. It was 2 pieces of seared tofu cut in half to make 4, and a cup of spinach rice. We had planned to take my father-in-law here for his 70th birthday. Since we treated him to Ruth's Chris for his 60th, we knew we had to find something that was just as good, if not better for his 70th, and Fogo fit the bill. The hubby and I have been to two different locations - San Diego and Houston - and both were great, so I was a bit worried about coming to this location, since the reviews are not as high as the others. However, we had a wonderful experience!! We had an early dinner reservation at 4:30pm on a Friday, and the place was slowly starting to fill up shortly after we arrived. The salad bar was fully stocked, and the meats were flowing often; we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a gaucho to come over and refill our meat. Make sure to say YES to the grilled cheese with honey...DROOL. Besides the amazing food, the service was top notch, which is kinda hard to come by these days. Our server Omar (and his helpers) checked in on us often, made sure we had refills, etc. I know it's a requirement for restaurant managers to "table-touch" and sometimes it can feel a bit forced (been there, done that...LOL). The manager that visited our table - Lestat - was great and was genuinely interested in our experience. We made a few requests for specific meats and when the gauchos came out of the kitchen, he made sure they headed directly toward our table to load us up! We got the indulgence menu so we were able to choose 1 of 4 items (lobster tail, crab cake, bone marrow and something else) and it came with any dessert of choice. I love the lobster tail. It wasnt rubbery and perfectly buttered. Some of the meats were amazing but some were really salty. I liked the pork chop. The pork belly woth honey and lemon was interesting but fatty. I liked the items at the salad bar. They gave lots of fruits. They gave fried plankton and what seemed like deep fried masa and it was soo good. I wished i got more but i needed to eat meat to get my monies worth. Melek and zaila were such amazing waitresses. At the beginning, the meater kept skipping our table but after they called them out we kept getting meat. Even at the end when we all finished, flipped the cards to red, and got desserts, 1 of our friends were still hungry so the meat guy came by and gave him food. PARKING: It's a big lot but it's shared with other businesses. Should have an easy time finding parking. There's spots in front of the entrance that I should have gone to first, off of State College. RESERVATIONS: I always make reservations cause you never know. My friend wanted to have dinner last minute on a Tuesday at 7:30 pm and I made reservations, that day, at 6:45 pm and was even able to modify it to 7:45 pm at like 7:20 pm. When we got there, it was PACKED. Nobody's feeling the inflation in these parts! DRESS CODE: Typically it's a upscale dress code, but for Tuesday, I saw guys in gym shorts and shirts, eating with their buddies like it was a post-gym brotein dinner. I went in casual Gap pants and a band shirt and wedges, but honestly, it doesn't matter. Whole families were eating here that looked like they just came from Disneyland. AMBIANCE: This location was built from the ground up so it has high ceilings, lots of seating on the floor, window seats and the bar looks very nice. It's super clean, the lighting is nice and it feels like a fancy experience. HAPPY HOUR: I came here, specifically for the happy hour on a Tuesday. I saw the TikTok that said it's one of the best happy hours and you could get a $10 burger and $1 Caipirinha on Tuesdays. The happy hour menu is available all day, everyday. Sometimes you just want to eat a small meal and not do the Full Churrasco experience. SERVICE: So I read the reviews and instead of being deterred from visiting this location, I went in with an open mind. Our server was Luke and when we sat down I mentioned that we would like to order off of the happy hour menu. I checked the facials for stink face, none. Luke's not particularly bubbly, but his facial expression did not look disgusted when I said that phrase. A happy hour menu was brought to our table and my friend and I were catching up on life when Luke stopped by shortly after the menu was dropped off to take our order. I was still looking and kind of felt rushed, but decided to order the burger, add yucca fries and stuck with water for the time being. My friend ordered sliders, yucca fries, ice tea and the hearts of palm dip. After a while I ordered a Caipirinha and he ordered the empanadas. The complimentary cheese bread came out first and then it felt like forever (30minutes?) for my burger and yucca fries to come out. His food didn't come out for a while after mine, we had to stop and ask the status for his sliders and yucca fries. At one point another server, a girl, stopped by and asked if we needed anything and she was very pleasant and offered to bring us more cheese bread. My friend's second half of his order came out 40 minutes after we ordered and by that time I was full. FOOD: Never had a bad meal from any Fogo de Chao. It's worth the money. I had the Full Churrasco dinner on Saturday with family and it just hits every time. Caipirinha was very good. The burger was worth the wait and I'd go back for it again. It was juicy, the bun was good, had a slight garlic taste and was filling. The yucca fries are always good but the cheese bread is the perfect little side. Hearts of palm dip was basically a spinach and artichoke type dip. REWARDS PROGRAM: I joined their rewards program and made a reservation through their website, which leads to the Open Table reservation app. I ate at their Rancho Cucamonga location on Saturday and unlocked a reward the next day, then I ate here and unlocked the 2nd reward, a full Churrasco dinner with the purchase of one. Also, you only get $1 Caipirinha Tuesday's if you're a member and I just learned you get a complimentary charcuterie plate, every visit, with a purchase of $25 or more! I never announced I was a member or scanned my receipt, I think I got the rewards just by making the reservation via the website. OVERALL: It's a nice restaurant. Service was ok, but food always makes up for it. I would definitely do dinner with friends here versus a bar or another chain restaurant. The happy hour burger did take long like other reviews mentioned, but it was worth the wait and the price. Our bill with all that food and drinks came out to about $63 for the two of us. read more

We decided to go to Fogo de Chão for a birthday celebration. We chose the Best of Brazil for $49, but this location charged $54 and the meat selection felt more limited. We loved the picanha, it was phenomenal. The spicy beef was also fun to try since we'd never had it before, and it was delicious. The salad bar setup, however, was a bit challenging. I wish it were like the Pasadena location where everything is on an island and easier to access. It was extremely crowded, which made it hard to move around. The atmosphere is bright and seems better suited for smaller parties. They do have space for larger groups, but our party of six was squeezed into a corner. It felt tight, and the meat servers had to squeeze past us, sometimes bumping into us. One server even shoved their shoulder into my friend without apologizing, and another spilled meat juice on them. We also asked our server for more picanha three times, but it never came around, so we eventually decided to leave. Overall, the food was great, but the service and atmosphere at this location were just okay. I'd recommend going to the Pasadena location instead. read more

It also took an extremely long time to receive our wine and sides. When we finally received our sides, they were cold. I went there during Memorial Day weekend so it was packed. Thankfully, I made a reservation ahead of time for a party of 10 and we were seated immediately with no wait at all. The service was great! Our server was super nice and very attentive to everything we needed throughout the meal. Out of all the meat cuts, the highlight for me was the picanha: super juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of fat which I loved. They also have a buffet with salad options, charcuterie, and soups. I'd definitely recommend this place especially if you're dining with a larger group or celebrating something special. read more

One of the better places for a special occasion. This is a new standalone restaurant by Brea mall. They did a marvelous job with the interior with a flair modern and luxury. We arrived before the rush before 5pm with plenty of seatings available. We started out with the buffet table with lots of vegetable, cheese, and essential Brazilian sides selections except for Brazilian Collard Greens. Here are my beef RANKING from bottom to top: Bacon wrapped mignon, Garlic beef, Picanha, Beef Ribs, Filet mignon (upon request). Bacon wrapped meat was cooked well done and even a well done mignon is difficult to chew. Filet mignon was magnificent and I wished that I had requested sooner. read more

I recently attended a private presentation in exchange for a comped meal at FDC. They put us in one of their private rooms which was a little tight, but a nice ambiance with good lighting and quieter space than the main dining room. The salad bar had great variety and fresh offerings which already filled my plate. Then workers came around with their "Best of Brazil" meat offerings. The spicy beef and pichana were my favorites, as some of the other options were overcooked and dry. Service was okay granted the large party size, as we received refills on drinks once and no plate refresh. We were all grateful for the dessert packaged to go, which was decadent and stayed well to eat the next day. read more

I'm a newbie at Fogo de Chão, and I absolutely loved the experience. The atmosphere had a fine dining feel, and every staff member from the host to the servers and busboys was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Full Churrasco, which includes all you can eat meats of your choice and access to their five-star salad bar. It's way more than a typical salad bar, with so many fresh and high-quality options. They give you a little coaster that lets them know when you want more meat or when you're full, which is such a fun and convenient touch. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a date night or special occasion. The food, service, and atmosphere make it a great experience from start to finish. read more

We visit Fogo de Chão at least once or twice a month, and it's our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We typically go for the Full Churrasco Experience as we enjoy the grilled cheese with honey, grilled pineapple, picanha, ribeye and beef ribs among other meats. During our most recent visit, however, we were disappointed when the steak service became very slow. At one point, we waited over 10 minutes without anyone stopping by our table with additional cuts of meat, which took away from the experience we normally enjoy. However, Also, Omar and Lestat completely turned our evening around. We love Aldo for being our server. He was friendly, welcoming, and helped make our visit enjoyable despite the delays. Even though Omar wasn't our server, he noticed the situation and stepped in to make sure we were taken care of. He was attentive, proactive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Lestat was also wonderful and helped put us at ease with his kindness and professionalism. We appreciate how he rounds on every table, and he's done that every single time we've visited. While the slow steak service was frustrating, Omar and Lestat's exceptional customer service made all the difference. Their efforts reminded us why we continue to return to Fogo de Chão for our celebrations and special occasions. Loved the Tequila and Tomahawk night at Fogo de Chao. Our server Melek was so sweet and attentive. She really went above and beyond to make sure we got the bar bites we wanted which was greatly appreciated. Overall this dinner night was a great deal for $45 which included 2 tequila cocktails, a ton of bar bites and a few pieces of Tomahawk steak and ribeye. Overall a great vibe in the bar area and a nice way to fill the restaurant on a Thursday night. read more
