We had dinner here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service is impeccable. The food was great! Best Cesar salad I have EVER had especially if you like anchovies (optional). They make it at your table! My daughter enjoyed the fluffy butter and bread as well as the heap of black truffle Parmesan fries. We had the NY steak, ribeye, potato puree, truffle mac n cheese, and a choice of sauce on the side for the steaks. The dessert menu was tempting; however we were so stuffed! Reservation only due to limited seating. Booths are soft and comfy. Tables also have a soft layer on top.

Love the look & scenery of the establishment. The ambiance, serves & attention to detail was S tier. Quality of the meal was only surpassed by the services. The vintage feel of the restaurant helps promote its culture & curate an exquisite experience.

Date: Thursday, January 8th, 2026 Time: 7:30pm Party of: 2 Meal: Birthday Dinner Reservation Made Thru: OpenTable about a week before *N/A Pomegranate Ice Tea ($14) *Rye Miler's Manhattan Basil Hayden Dark Rye ($28) *Caesar for Two ($40) *Tuna Tartare ($36) *Lobster Risotto ($98) *14oz Ribeye ($110) *Haricots Verts ($20) *Mac & Cheese ($20) *Gl Miller & Lux, Cab Sauvignon 2020 ($35) *Pumpkin Pie Sundae ($25) *Coffee ($6) *Health & Wellness - 7% ($30.24) For a friend's bday, I gave him a list of spots and he picked Miller & Lux. I've never been here before, so was down to check it out. It's not that hard to get a rezzie, so you really don't need to plan that much in advance. Parking wasn't too hard to find. We found a spot across the street. The steak and cocktails were by far my fav things. The steak was tender and juicy with a nice beefy chew. My cocktail was spirit forward, but still balanced. The caesar came with actual anchovies which I adored, tho I found it a lil small for two people. The rest I found okay for the price. The risotto had a decent amount of lobster, but was a lil too mushy. The green beans had a nice snap but could have used more flavor. For the dessert, I found it needed more texture to cut into the softness of the ingredients. It was very pumpkin-y tho. Service was great as expected. Our server was attentive without being overly so. They noted the birthday and wrote on the plate for our dessert. We were sat in a nice roomy booth which I always appreciate since I tend to over order. Great special occasion spot. Unless you have it where you could make this an every day spot. As a drink and meat lover, I appreciated the steak and cocktails. REVIEW #3961

We came here on a day that the Chase center did not have an event. We did not make reservations, but we came early for an early dinner. I've come before when they did have an event and you cannot get a table. It was packed. So, you must plan ahead if you plan to eat here. I've also tried the Miller and Lux in Hawaii, the Big Island. That place was so nice, I wanted to try this one in San Francisco. The place looks nice and bright, with big windows. A view of the bay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The server was attentive. The food we ordered was amazing. Everything was very good. The steak was cooked to the right temperature, medium rare. The burger, which they are known for was delicious. The French fries were really good. The mash potatoes were perfectly seasoned and very smooth. Their version of Yorkshire pudding bread was good. I don't usually like Yorkshire pudding. Usually taste like cardboard to me, but I ate Miller & Lux's version. Yes, absolutely, love this place. I would definitely come again. We had a great time here and food was awesome. Also, there is a little perk when you eat here before your event at the Chase Center. There is a private Check in entrance to the Chase Center.

Amazing spot to catch a warriors game or to grab a great meal at this upscale steak seafood restaurant. Amazing service and view of the Bay Must try their table side Ceasar salad and sole fish where they debone in front of you during service

Such a fun bar to wait for your table.

A delightful place to spend an evening enjoying cocktails, really tasty food and amazing service. Every detail has been thought of and taken care to ensure a memorable experience. From the champagne cart to the add ons you can't go wrong. Our reso was for 730. Easy parking even on a game night. The people watching was also fantastic.

The menu reads like a greatest hits of comfort food - steak, burger, truffle fries, mac & cheese. But there's a recurring theme here: a shocking fear of salt. Filet Mignon is Medium Rare Perfection... Beautiful pink center, warm red ring, crust that had a nice sear. The Bordelaise sauce was rich, slightly sweet, and had that deep red-wine reduction thing going on. But the steak itself had zero salt. The sauce tried its best, but a steak shouldn't need to be drowned to have flavor. M&L Burger. Juicy, But Also... Juicy? That's It. But again: no seasoning. The beef itself was bland. There was a bacon jam or sauce on it that added some smokiness, but when I took a bite without it (just to test), I was met with... nothing. Just wet, unseasoned meat. Parmesan Truffle Fries were legit, crispy, hot, tossed in enough parmesan and truffle. The portion was huge (feeds 2-3 easily). Black Truffle Mac & Cheese. First few bites? Creamy, luxurious, black truffle shavings. But by the fourth or fifth forkful, it got heavy. Missing acid. A little hit of something sour like lemon, would have saved it. Also, the pasta was overcooked. Peaches & Crème Tart was Aggressively sour. The peaches were fine, but the yuzu sauce underneath was so overwhelmingly acidic that it felt like a prank. My face scrunched up like I'd bitten into a live battery. The crème was there somewhere, but it got completely bulldozed. One bite was enough. I left the rest. My dentist would approve. If you do go, order the fries, bring your own salt grinder, and skip the tart unless you enjoy punishment. Service was great btw.

This is a 10/10. The food is top notch, and the experience has been perfect both times I've gone. I will definitely be going again! * Burger: Funnily enough, this was one of my favorite items on the menu. Not only that: I've had many burgers in my life, and this is hands down my absolute favorite. Wouldn't call myself a burger expert, but the meat was juicy, the bun was crisped, the onions and sauce and everything else was perfect. I will absolutely be ordering this again! * Wagyu: The slices are thin, but it's quality marbled meat! Compared to other wagyu I've had in Japan proper, probably closer to the run-of-the-mill quality but still a notch above other wagyu in the US. Buttery and delicious nonetheless! * Crispy chicken: Delicious! Juicy chicken, tasty toppings, and yummy sauce. Added a bit too much sauce myself so the chicken got soggy and salty, but with just the right amount of (self-poured) sauce, this dish would've been perfect. So that's my own mistake. Would be super curious to try this again with just the chef-recommended amount of sauce! Highly recommend, will be going back myself!

Came here for dinner before the warriors game and will definitely come back! When the making the reservation via phone the person on the other end was so thoughtful in suggesting times that would allow for us to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed before the game. The service was great- everyone was so in sync. The drinks were really good! The restaurant is beautiful we sat in the upstairs main dining hall but I def want to check out the downstairs bar next time! Such a fun vibe. We got the tomahawk steak to split and it was cooked to a super tender medium rare. The taretare was great, the deviled eggs had a really potent truffle flavor and the shrimp cocktail was super fresh.

We just had to stop before they closed to refurbish the place. Never disappoints. Definitely elegant, classy and great workers. Everyone was so nice and we got seated immediately. We did drink our own bottle of wine which does come with a 50 dollar corkage fee but we had a great bottle but definitely worth it. They do offer to waive the fee if you decide to buy a bottle from them. Which is great if wanted to get something else. The complimentary is great but pace yourself and make space for the end. We definitely needed the oysters which they keep fresh in the back with cold running water to simulate the ocean which makes it fresher. The table side Caesar salad was the best I've had. Just seeing them make the dressing from scratch right before your eyes is awesome. We ordered the ribeye which was so tender and flavorful. I will post the pictures so you can appreciate the quality. I'm sure after I write this review the place will be refurbished but eventually I want to come back to see how it looks. Hopefully for my anniversary

Made reservations for a group of four on a Monday at 7:00pm, arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were greeted by the host who brought up to our table after checking in. After we were seated they asked if we wanted to check our coats which was nice touch, they asked after some of us were already seated so if you want to check a coat consider taking this off before you enter the booth seating. Drinks: We brought our own bottle of wine which 1st bottle is $50 corkage fee they do decant and pour for you which is great, staff did walk through the wine and cocktail options as well as the champagne cart but we decided to stick with our bottle Food: Amuse Bouche - a lovely 1st bite, a creamy potato croquette with truffle and cheese, so delicious perfectly fried, nice contrast of textures Popover & Butter - delicious, served warm, fluffy interior with a really nice crispy shell, great on it's own but even better with butter Steak Tartar - very good, super rich and decadent, steak was well marbled and melt in the mouth, warm bone marrow added extra fatty richness, loved the mustard seeds and the little slices of chili adding pops of flavor and acidity, housemade potato chips were crispy slightly salted and a great vehicle for serving the tartar Caesar Salad - good, we got 1 order and split between the 4 of us which made for a nice appetizer salad size for our group, loved the table side presentation, romaine was fresh and crisp, dressing was light and balanced, lots of fresh grated parmesan and the anchovies added saltiness to the salad, the confit lemon peel was another nice element and GF bread crumbs added more crispy bits 46oz Tomahack Ribeye - cooked medium rare which they did, nice pink red center, this was sliced off the the bone making for easy service, exterior was well seasoned with a nice char and crispy texture, the steak we got had quite a bit of a fat cap parts almost an 1" thick wish the rendering was a bit better, we got to select a sauce to go with our steak and went with the red wine bordelaise which paired nicely with the cut Potato Puree - so creamy and rich, well seasoned, no lumps detected, flavorful and pairs great with the steak Creamed Kale - also rich and creamy, kale was tender and love the crunch kale and fried onions adding a textural contrast, well seasoned and another great side Service was solid, staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They went into great detail on both the food and drink menu. Another interesting observation is several staff members asked if we were celebrating anything which we did have a birthday and mentioned in the reservation and subsequently throughout our meal when staff asked repeatedly. So not sure there is communication flowing through to all staff. We did appreciate the dessert bites that the staff brought out when we were closing our meal. Overall a beautiful steakhouse with great food, every thing we tried was delicious but a very rich and heavy meal. Would love to see a few lighter sides or mains. A great spot for a celebration or special occasion, price point is on the high end but design of the space and the quality of food does match. Acoustics and lighting were also really well thought out so worth a visit to experience that as well.

This was my second time dining at Miller & Lux, and since my last visit they've been added to the Michelin Guide, which made me even more excited to return. There was a small hiccup with the timing of our reservation--we had a confirmed 4:15 booking, but the restaurant didn't open until 4:30. Even so, the staff handled it graciously and invited us to sit at the bar while they prepared our table. While we waited, I had the Guava Rose Spritz, which was light, refreshing, and a perfect start to the evening. My dad ordered the Scotch Palmer and said it was the best drink he's had all year. My mom enjoyed her Pink Lady as well. Once our table was ready, we were led upstairs to a table near the kitchen. We opted for the champagne service, and the sommelier--who happened to be the same one we had on our last visit--was once again fantastic. She walked us through the options, answered all our questions, and made the experience feel special. Because it was a Warriors game night, we were told we needed to place our entire order at once. The last time we came, we were able to order in courses, but given how busy it was, we understood the change. For starters, we had the mac and cheese and deviled eggs, both delicious. Even though Miller & Lux is a steakhouse, I couldn't resist ordering the risotto again--it was divine. We also shared the New York steak, which was a good cut of meat, though it did arrive cold. My mom had the hamburger, which came with fries; the fries were also cold, likely due to the rush of the evening. Our server--also the same one from our first visit--was wonderful. Despite how busy the restaurant was, she remained attentive and warm throughout the meal. One especially convenient perk: since we were heading to the game afterward, we were able to use the private Miller & Lux entrance to access Chase Center, which made getting in incredibly easy. Even with a few hiccups this time, we still had an enjoyable experience overall. I'll definitely be back.

I have neuropathy and walk with a cane, a situation the afternoon staff graciously accommodated, escorting me upstairs in the elevator and allowing me to elevate my feet on a chair. My friend and I enjoyed our leisurely "big splurge" afternoon, with drinks and delicious lobster. When the shift apparently changed, a different employee (the manager?) came to the table, pulled the chair out from under my feet and said it was against restaurant policy to allow this. He was quite brusque. (It's salient to note we were practically the only people in this quite large restaurant, with miles of empty tables around us.) This effectively ended my visit as my feet would soon be numb. My friend had left a bit earlier, so I gathered my briefcase, coat and purse and made my way to the elevator. The wait staff looked on. Nobody offered a hand. A couple of days later I called management and let them know what happened. They said someone would follow up. Nobody did.

Now it's sixteen years later. After an early start to a Sunday Valkyries game, my friend brought us here for a post game dinner. After finding a parking space a block away, we walked up a little after 6:30 pm. When I reached the entrance, I noticed the sketch board and wrote my name below the names and guest numbers already there. When I asked the hostess, she told me it was likely a twenty to thirty minute wait. The dining room was packed as well as the sidewalk tables and outdoor dining structure. Being hungry and antsy, I walked the various tables to observe the service progression to estimate when we'd be seated. About 35 minutes later, we were seated at the sidewalk table next to the entrance and given menus. It's been a while so a menu study was needed. After some discussion, we decided on our meals and agreed to share bites of each other's food. First came the Acme French baguette and butter (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=b_xeRM764lejQiCnELp7OA), a necessary vehicle to sop any gravy or sauce. Two of us had the French onion soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=rJ9tQeC9Al9A0yCiHnA3Fw); it was as I remember, hearty broth chocked with tasty onions with gooey stretchy cheese underneath a nicely browned top. Their staple is consistent with what I remember. My friend ordered the Les Moules 24, poulette (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=ZgxJSrYmiEuwipp8uvkJHA), garlic, shallots, bacon, white wine, cream, parsley; the mussels were good, most if not all opened shells in a variety of sizes. The sauce or broth is the key especially with the baguette slices to enjoy the delicious flavors. For my main meal, i had the pork chop (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=tk0gypyufB2AL0olq-KPHA), Brussels sprouts, bacon, apple cider mustard sauce, suggested and cooked medium; I really enjoyed this as it had a nice outside sear while the meat was tender and still juicy after I cut in. The flavors from the accompaniments paired well and the portions were generous. In fact, a fellow diner mostly ate the accompaniments as our shared format in trying the other dishes filled my tummy. I tried a few bites of my friend's roasted duck confit, French fries (subbed from potatoes gratin), haricot vert, port reduction; sorry, no photo as this disappeared relatively quickly; the duck was tender and fork tender with a smoky flavor as it came right off the bone. I also tried another diner's fettucine, creamy white wine sauce, mushrooms (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=X5em6PctUtXUbiuM7uLmPg); the balance of sauce to pasta was perfect and you know me and mushrooms. It was tasty and is definitely hearty, portions and taste wise. As we dined, more diners added their names to the wait list until there were only two names left when we left around 8:30 pm. The guests were a mix of neighborhood locals and sports fans who came from events since Chase Center and Oracle Park are nearby. I saw a table with guys wearing Giants and Braves jerseys. Thanks to J. Garen who waited on our table and the bus staff who cleared empty plates and bowls and refilled out water glasses. Big thanks for Naomi, the hostess, who kept all waiting guests updated and kept a watchful eye to make sure the tables turn efficiently. As we left, we greeted waiting guests in Valkyries jerseys and we briefly talked about the game and, of course, gave our "Go Valks" cheer. Looking forward to our next meal here.

This was a tasty meal. We liked it all but the Petrale Sole was a pretty boring dish. Next time…read morewe would probably try the steak and the duck. We had: Baked Camembert Thai Moules Petrale Sole Meunière French Fries We sat outside and it was lovely. We were lucky we got there on the early side on a Saturday evening. Pretty soon after we arrived there was a wait list.
