Not just my favorite country bar, but one of my favorite bars in Phoenix! The staff is always so welcoming. The rancher potato with pulled chicken keeps me coming back. They smoke all their meat in house and you can tell how good the quality is! They have live music 5 nights a week and it seems like there is always some sort of dance lesson happening. They even have a REAL wood floor not a makeshift one like most country bars in the valley. They are a bears bar so Sundays are a fun atmosphere! I was there this past Sunday and they opened at 630 AM to play the game that was in London! I go here at least once a week and always look forward to the next time I get to enjoy Foley Ranch! read more

Good food, fast service, great music. The entertainment there is always good. It is a cool ambience for a country bar restaurant. I know they are a new restaurant and the younger generation is doing a lot of what we call country swing dancing and of course line dancing. Sometimes it's difficult to do more traditional country dancing there. I understand they want to cater to people eating and drinking definitely not dancing, even though they do have line dance lessons . I do like the stage is raised . When I have gone there, I wanted to sit somewhere where I can at least see the singers and space is limited for that. read more

I organize, for fun, many of my girlfriends birthdays and I decided to try a new venue for a change and I chose Foley Ranch. They open at three and I made the reservation for a dozen or so of us for 3 o'clock. Not only were they waiting for us, our table was ready, our waitress, the amazing Celeste was right there, and her service was impeccable! If she got a bit busy, other people came up to the table to help serve us! I needed a few more chairs, because I had extra people come, and the fellow ( sorry, didn't get his name) immediately brought over another table and chairs without fanfare and was jovial about I did not eat there, but the food looked really good and everybody who had something enjoyed it. This place is awesome! A group of my coworkers and I happily choose to enjoy our lunch at Foley Ranch nearly every Friday. "Foley Fridays" as we call them. This place has potential, but needs to work out the kinks. Quoted me an excessive wait time (1:30) to text me only 35 min later and not be able to hold the table for 5 min. Didn't get to try the food as we went somewhere else in the mean time. Randomly played the national anthem (badly) at 7:30pm. Band was disappointing. Didn't get a server for at least 30 min and no prices on the drink menu, which was a bad call because they actually weren't that expensive. Took forever to get a drink. Drinks were tasty though! Great country spot in Desert Ridge! Super cool atmosphere and love band was a plus. A little too loud to have conversations with your party but still fun. The service was great check in's from our server and manager. Lastly, the food was out super fast for my liking but I was hungry so it worked out. The pulled pork and beans were my top favorites. Since the restaurant we were headed was closed, we opted go to Foleys. The music is good but oh God was the food severely overpriced for what you get. I ordered the single meat dish of pulled pork, served in a "4-5" wide metal tin, maybe 3 to 4 oz. With two sides that were overly large. The pork was mediocre at best, I asked for it to be tossed in bbq, no go. That tiny portion was 18.95? I will say that the gal that served us was amazing. Working a double and still smiling!!! Went last night on cowgirls night. The music was good and the dance instruction was a nice touch. The only thing that's keeping it from giving a 5 is that we were right in the walk way of both the women's restroom and food service area while trying to dance. It just seemed like an afterthought with no systems in place. Drinks were decent but difficult to get the attention of the bar staff. Parking is a pain. I don't hold this against the place if you have been to desert ridge you know parking is trash. Best to find a spot and "hike" in... Also their webpage/socials/internal video monitors ALL list different times/dates for their specials... Ended up coming here by accident. We actually went to Barrio Queen and we sat there for 15 minutes without anyone coming up so we left and went here instead. A fun place for live music and dancing. The food was OK, depending on the item ordered. The ribs and pulled pork were good. The brisket was very fatty. They were nice enough to swap it for more pork, but I'm surprised they didn't notice how fatty it was and not serve these pieces to us. This is a tough one because the place is great, the service is great, the apps and sides are all great, but they are a BBQ place and the BBQ was a 2/10. The sauces were good thankfully because it was the only way to choke down the dry chicken, brown brisket, and the tough ribs. There are many great BBQ places in AZ and they don't need to be as good as those, but I'd go to Chilis for BBQ over this place and I haven't eaten at Chili's in over 10 years. Everything else is great, but the primary focus of the menu. I hope it gets better because it's a far drive and it would be worth it if I could not have to eat around the menu to have a good meal. read more

My family & I came in for lunch. I always forget about this side of desert ridge. It's located on the same side as the Marley's. We walked in and were warmly greeted. This place only had 1-2 tables in the place so we were a bit nervous. This place is huge! They had live music which my kids loved. As for the food my husband & I ordered the cowboy burger. It was really tasty! I'm not a fan of the bbq personally but I had ordered it on the side. The service was friendly. I hope more people go here and give it a try there's a few things to consider though. The sandwiches come with potato chips or fries I guess they up charge you more for fries but they were damn tasty. My biggest issue was that they don't serve Coke products or even Pepsi. Only RC which I find not drinkable. I think the kids menu is a pricey for the small amount of food it only comes with two tenders and no drink included. Now I'm not sure who they are trying target for their audience but I'm just assuming since it's in Desert Ridge it's mostly families. I think with some small tweaks this place could be booming like its competitors in the marketplace. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't yet. read more

Came here are on a wednesday for girls night with some friends and loved the music and food. Our server was so sweet however the hostess with brown hair was a nightmare to deal with when we asked to be seated she was super short with me and my friends. Said something to our waitress and I was hoping to get a manager but highly doubt they would have done anything more than what our waitress could have done. Bbq sauce wasn't good. We spent over 350 dollars at the table we were at and we just expected the food to be better for the price. Our waitress Hailey was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the brisket, ribs, bacon platter and hush puppies.
