They may make several things here but we only get the Gluten Free Southern Fried Chicken Mashed Potatoes, Coleslawand and Corn. We either eat it there, get it to go, or get it delivered. This stuff is amazing. I'm celiac, which means not gluten at all, even the tiniest bit. And since most places fry stuff in friers with things that are battered -- I can't usually eat fried food. Thereby I crave it constantly. So one day I have a craving so strong for fried chicken I ask my phone to find one, and here it is. They have three kinds of fried chicken, only one of which is gluten free (the others are fried in same oil, and then a sauce is put on them, and the gluten is in the sauce.) Those other ones look like they must be amazing, but they are out for me. Anyway, their gluten free option is 'southern fried chicken.' I lived in the south and this stuff is awesome. Some celiac people can't have dairy as a secondary thing, the celiac is a toxic reaction in the small intestine, but sometimes a dairy allergy emmerges as a secondary thing. I'm one of those, but I cheat with this chicken, which has a buttermilk batter. But it is crazy good I've spoken with the owner a number of times, who told me the gluten free chicken is only a very small part of their sales, which I think is crazy, and clearly people just don't know this place exists. I went to a gluten free resturaunt is Portland that has fried chicken on Sundays, and it wasn't even half as good. There is a glutenfree fried fish place -- similarly disappointing. But this stuff is the real deal, it is so good that the friends I introduce to it go back for more, so people who don't need gluten free like it batter than the 'real' stuff. So go eat it read more

Sweet garlic soy chicken with two of the tiniest of gems (fried pickles to die for!) and a side of slaw. The rice was perfectly sticky, the crisp on the chicken was . Only downer, they didn't seem to have anything to drink other than water. There are plenty of options in the food truck park though. read more

Now this was a nice Saturday discovery. I've had a handful of the other food trucks in that pod but this one is definitely one of the best. Every part of the Spicy Korean Chicken Bowl complimented the others really well--and both the chicken and rice were perfectly cooked. Passed by the food truck area around lunch time and decided to give FOMO a try and I'm glad i did! I ordered the gluten free fried chicken and my husband ordered the spicy Korean chicken bowl. Both were delicious!!! The cole slaw was awesome. Overall great food and would definitely come back when I'm in the area. It tasted like some great Panda Express orange chicken with a sweet and sour sauce at best. One of the things my husband misses most about life in Korea is eating spicy fried Korean chicken, sipping beer, and snacking on pickled radish with friends. The Spicy Korean ("yangnyeom") chicken at FOMO was super crunchy and flavorful. We tried various side dishes and they were all really delicious - I always particularly like Korean pickled white radish. The cart is cute, and clean, and in a great spot. Beautifully crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. The spicy is just the perfect amount of spicy. The rice is sticky and delicious. The pickled radish and slaw help to cool down the spice and balance the salt. Service was very fast. Tried FOMO today finally after wanting to for quite some time. I am really disappointed. The food looked delicious. However it tastes like someone made me a bowl full of pepper. No flavor came through whatsoever. There was so much pepper it made my nose run and my face hurt. My husband took one bite and threw it in the trash. I really feel like I wasted my money. I can't express how it tasted like pouring black pepper straight from the container into my mouth. After reading the reviews I was expecting something at least edible. If you know what Korean fried chicken is the spicy fried chicken is the way to go. The other kind is sweet for those that can't handle spicy and still pretty good but the spicy Korean chicken is where it's at. It's really crispy and has delicious flavor. Came here for the Korean fried chicken. I ordered the half chicken, which costs $14. Turned out to be pretty good - the glaze was sweet with a very slight Korean spicy kick to it. The chicken meat was decent; not dry or stringy, but more on the moist side. The downsides are the cost and the crispiness. First, for $14, you only get ~4 pieces: a thigh, a drumstick, a wing and a breast. Secondly, for the named fried chicken, I'd expect more of a crispy shell. While the glaze was good, I would've preferred to see a crisp and crunch to the fried chicken; that wasn't there, it was just chicken in a Korean-esque glaze. It also comes with a couple fried pickle chips, adding a somewhat Southern fusion to the order. Additional considerations: for a food truck to be labeled as Korean, it'd be cool to see things like kimchi fried rice or bulgogi tacos, or other Korean fusion type of things served. A previous Korean fried chicken venue I frequented in Michigan had kimchi fries on their menu...just a suggestion? read more
