We were really sad when TGIFridays left since it was so convenient. This new place opened and we couldnt wait to try it! Gone is the red and white decor, replaced by pretty greens, otherwise, not much remodelling took place. 13 tv screens in main dining room, each showing a different sports channel. We shared a plate of cuban eggrolls to start, hubby had the Florida-Man platter and i got the Backyard Cookout Smash burger. "Pretty damn good!" was how Hubby described the cuban eggrolls. Neat concept! Definitely worth a try! Dinner came. Fries do come seasoned with a spicy garlic salt. I got mine plain. The fish and gator bites were very tender. The breading is so light and flaky it flakes right off! Not overly oily either. I found it a little salty, but still good. My burger was terrific, although next time I might skip the jalapenos. As Hubby got deeper and deeper into his plate, it was hard to tell the difference between the gator and the fish texture-wise and he decided everything was over-seasoned. Having grown up in the restaurant biz, his instinct was, "if the food is over-seasoned, what are they trying to hide?" My fries were soggy, but, honestly, I prefer them that way. For dessert we shared the bananas foster ice cream sandwich. THEY SET IT ON FIRE!!! HOW COOL IS THAT?!? Too bad the brandy did not completely dissipate. Do not order this if you have to drive any where later. All in all, we are very glad we came. Next time we will try other things on the menu because we are not going to make the same mistakes twice.

After trying their sliders at a Yelp elite event I knew I had to come once this location near me opened. Its like an elevated sports bar vibe inside. It did take a few minutes to get service which was a little disappointing but once we got a server she did a good job checking in and we didn't have to wait long after that. To start I got a strawberry spritz cocktail and we got the fried pickles. Both equally delicious. I got the GOAT grilled cheese and my boyfriend got the black and blue burger. The GOAT grilled cheese is AMAZING. It has parmesan crusted sourdough topped filled with goat cheese, Monterey jack, mozzarella, bacon and then topped with basil with marinara filling sauce. Absolutely craveable!! To finish we got the bananas foster ice cream sandwich and man it is boozy. They serve it with 151 they flambe. Very tasty. The menu has at least 10 different items I want to try. We'll definitely be back

Happy Hour pretzel bites, after we had eaten half. Yummy. Tasted like garlic croutons.

This was a mixed bag for us. Our server was great. The wings were small, under sauced (Carolina gold!), and overall mediocre. My husband had the Korean beef bowl and loved it. The happy hour pretzels bites were yummy -- tasted like garlicky croutons. Fries were too peppery for my taste, but my husband loved them. We took a bar table because the seats are jammed in too tight at the bar, but once soccer came on they did not have the Rays game on, despite many TVs and asking. We left to go elsewhere to watch the local MLB game. Big menu, might give it another shot.

Really wanted to love this place after seeing them on channel 13 and them stressing everything made from scratch, etc. Well we came in around 6pm. Asked about domestic draft choices. Ordered mich ultra. Just looking for something cold & cheap. $5.50. Come to find out $3 bud select on Happy Hour. Nit sure why the young people don't offer the Happy Hour prices. Anyway we know for next time. They also had wings for 89 cents. How can you go wrong? We ordered the Tai chilli and also some blacked. The tai chilli was about a two on the scale of 1-5. Sorry the sauce had absolutely no flavor! What chef makes up a sauce and doesn't taste it and say that needs more flavor, etc. the blackened was very good about a 4 on the same scale. The blue cheese was a winner. Solid 5. However none of our wings came with any dressing. Again who orders wings without a sauce to go with it and who fills the order and isn't looking for the sauce to go with it. People next to us also missing their dressing with their wings too. Had to flag over one of the 4 bartenders who were too busy on their phones to even notice anyone trying to flag them down. Hubby also ordered a cheeseburger without a bun and add a piece of bacon and egg on top $23. Is that the going rate? Also ordered cole slaw instead of fries - came out warm in temperature. Maybe sitting under the heat lamp? In any event, can't eat warm coleslaw so asked for a cold one. Finally got it after it was forgotten for a while. I know they just opened so we will come back in a couple of months and will update this review.

The bill with the charge of extra sauce for our dry wings we never received after asking to different waitresses.

Literally just left with my husband after a bad experience here. Our intentions were to go Charley's (it is on the same parking lot) for chicken wings. We passed by here throughout the changing from TGIF to Food & Beer. My husband asked me if I want to try it out? I was hesitant at first but said why not today is Thursday and they have $.90 wings according to the sign out front. When we walked in everything was good. The waitress sat us where we wanted to be seated, which was in a booth. It didn't take too long for our waitress to greet us. She never told us her name and she didn't seem very personable either. She asked us if we wanted any waters, we declined and just ordered our drinks which I had wine and he had a beer. It took quite a while for them to bring both out, but it was ok, we were still deciding on what we were going to eat. We went for the wings. He ordered 15.. I ordered 10. He also ordered loaded fries. It took them a long time to bring them out, but again it was ok. We were sipping our drinks and checking out the ambience. When they brought everything out they brought 10 wings for him and told him they will bring the next 5 out shortly which again was fine, However, before the waitress walked off we asked her for extra sauce because the wings looked pretty dry. We ordered original buffalo wings. We never received our sauce even after we ask another waitress as well. Neither came back with it and were in the wind as we continued to eat. The fries were really dry and barely had any cheese on them and overcooked. By the time we received the bill we noticed were charged for the sauce that we never received. When the waitress came back to get the bill we made her aware and she had not a care in the world. Yea... we're good. I thank my hubby for at least giving them a chance and being very patient but nahhh.. We're good.. Good Luck!

Greek Life Bowl. Salmon cooked perfectly but the rest was meh.

I'll start by saying the two people with me had Greek dishes, Chicken Naousa and Chicken Souvlaki, and both had positive things to say. If we return someday I will go Greek, as I found my burger a little dry and kind of a challenge. My choice was their Dallas BBQ Cheeseburger with bacon, which I asked to be cooked medium. My plate was full with the burger itself, fries, and separately the usual burger toppings. With the onion rings and the bacon strips, I decided to not try to assemble with the toppings but just include those as I ate. The slowness of the meal was noticeable, I started with a side Caesar Salad, which took about 20 minutes to arrive.

The atmosphere delivered again. Bingo and karaoke were a lot of fun, and the wings were solid. That said, one interaction left a lasting impression. When our tacos were delivered, everyone at the table had ordered beef except for my spouse, who had one chicken taco. We asked the food runner, Brian, if he could help us identify which taco was the chicken so she didn't accidentally eat beef. Instead of assisting, he threw his hands up, mumbled under his breath, shook his head, and walked away while we were still asking a simple question. The reaction felt dismissive and unnecessary given the situation. While I stepped away from the table, I was told he later returned to apologize and shared that he had been yelled at in the back and took that frustration out on us. I appreciate the apology and understand that everyone has tough moments. I also learned he has been there a long time and may face personal challenges. Even so, guests should never feel the impact of internal stress. Respect and basic communication are part of the hospitality experience. To their credit, the bartender stepped in and comped my last round of wings, which felt like a genuine effort to make things right and was appreciated. I still had a good night overall, but the interaction left a lasting impression that I won't forget. Bilmar Station has a fun vibe and good food, and I hope this feedback helps ensure the guest experience stays consistent.
