Watch out for pricing and description of sale items. Went into store to get some Arizona can drinks, sign clearly stated .59, so i proceeded to grab 24 (case qty) and when we got to clerk she started scanning and then i see they are scanning at .89 cents. I told Monica the cashier stated only the mango drinks where .59 cents, i told him how the sign stated "Arizona tea .59" not only a specific flavor. Monicas answer was "i can show you where it says .89" i just answered her then you can take them off, she offered nothing else and just proceeded to take one by one off. Since COVID I have been to many stores to get my necessities. Therefore, I thought my favorite neighborhood store would get better during these times to make sure customers health and safety is their priority but I've gone 2-3 times since COVID started and seen no improvement. Therefore, that caused for a very unfortunate altercation where an employee named "Andres" as he said was his name couldn't tell another customer to keep her distance from my mother and I had to say something and the lady got very offended. Not only did I argue with the lady but the employee Andres was already giving me a unpleasant attitude because he didn't hear my directions the first time. I suggest the manager fixes the stickers on the ground and get rid of the two people isles bc there's no precautions taken there. An force employees to enforce distancing in the line. I thank the gentleman in the end for getting rid of the employee and taking over. read more

This is the cleanest Food4Less store I've been to by far. This one has polished cement floors and a US Bank branch in the front with not one but two security guards. read more

I reside in Redondo but I travel to this location because of their customer service and very quick lines. The prices are great food for less has certain items I prefer like Donald Duck orange juice, fruit among other items. The best part is there focus on low lines. read more

If it wasn't for the (usually) low prices, I would take my business elsewhere in a heartbeat. The store is clean for the most part, but the customer service is, more often than not, something from a horror story. Cashiers are generally abrupt and not hospitable. That being said, I've counted 3...only 3 cashiers that I've ever had good experiences with at this store, and they've all been there for quite some time. The newer crew needs to get their act together! The produce department has its good days, and alot of its bad days. Recently, I found there to be fruit flies throughout, spoiled items (including avocados, bananas, and tomatoes), unripe produce (the same culprits as the spoiled ones), and no head iceberg lettuce. When I stopped one of the produce dept. employees to ask about the lettuce, he didn't speak English, and refused to answer me when I repeated myself in Spanish! He was speaking Spanish to other customers nearby after the incident, so I'm curious as to why he refused to speak it to me. read more

This is my go to store, not only is it economical it's good quality. You do have to bag your own groceries which I don't mind for all the groceries I score on. I go during the day to avoid ghettoness that means before 3pm weekdays. The employees are legit as well and produce employees they are always nice and on top of customer service read more

I'm very displeased with Food 4 Less on Artesia. Standing in line for 2 1/2 hours because store doesn't open until 8:00am. According to the disclaimer with updates they state they clean and restock. Manager comes out of and gave a status that the only thing they didn't have were meat & water but all else was stocked. Went in store to find 2 men getting in line with baskets full of food and toiletries. I I walked to the toilet paper was not on its aisle & employee told me they didn't have none. I happen to look to right and in the corner was boxes I walk over there to find toilet paper in boxes and ppl began to rush. None of the aisle were stock. How do you do that to ppl in this trying time. Why is this store lying that they are stocking items and they really are not. An employee that cared told me there is items in the back, they are just not stocking the stuff. This is not the time for store employees to be lying to customers and doing personal favors for their family and friends. This needs to be reported that stores are taking advantage of the state customers are in at this time. read more

I went to this food 4 less today in Gardena, California. Little did I know there would be an african american male around 20 years old watching me use the FEMALES rest room! He was in the first stall the middle stall was opened and the last stall was locked. So i went in the middle one. when I sat down is when my sister noticed that he was in there. My sister ran to the door to call security and he took his sweet time to help us out. Also, instead of detaining him the security and the manager escorted him out and let him go. I called the police and they didn't bother to get there soon. I waited for a while and then the manager walked up to my sister and I and asked if I was the person he was watching so I said yes his response was "I thought you were joking" I never knew that this was something to joke about! I made sure to call corprate and file a complaint. I hope they do something about this and I will continue to push for something to be done for the safety of other women and children! God knows how long he was there and how many ladies or little girls he watched while they took care of their PRIVATE business. This manager and security deserve to be fired! read more

Crowded parking, shopping carts all over the parking spaces. Do male employees(cashier)here say, hi, thank you, simple greetings? Several times I shopped this and that here but, guys never say anything upon ringing up items, handing changes. Once we were three guys standing in the line and waited for ten minutes for one cashier to show up. Another time, one cashier was talking to another cashier on next check stand loud the whole time. Prices are reasonable but I avoid this place and usually go to one in Torrance unless I really have to come here. read more

Been patronizing this location for years. Not bad - cheap, cleans, semi friendly staff and accepting of Black customers.
