Very fresh food, I'm from the Midwest, where our gravy owner has shrimp egg for young or egg for Youngs. is thick brown gravy. This gravy was more of a thin watery base gravy. It wasn't nasty. It really didn't even taste like anything and the egg drop soup was good. The chicken for the sesame chicken was all white meat and the rice was just was egg fried rice very plain. No eggroll with much platters and it was a coupon saying that you could get a free egg roll if you made a purchase over $10 but the order here did equal more than $10 I believe to exact it was 22 and we couldn't get a egg roll because the sesame chicken was a lunch menu item. This is some of the best Chinese food we've had since moving to Las Vegas. We've found several great places since our arrival and they can be broken down by category. There is strip mall takeout, high-end stuff from Chinatown and strip-mall/stand-alone dine-in. This is in the takeout category. Due to the pandemic, there's no dining in here, although it looks like you could dine-in pre-pandemic. My family generally gets Chinese takeout for Christmas Eve dinner. Our first favorite spot in town, discovered when we flew in to find a home to by, is Great Wall at Charleston and Ranchero and this is where we typically get our higher-quality takeout or dine-in. It's not to the level of Chinamama but it is fantastic nonetheless. While waiting for our food on Christmas Eve, we struck up a conversation with another customer who, after realizing we lived quite a distance form Great Wall advised us to try Red Shrimp Company, which is considerably closer to where we live. She told us that the quality was on par with Great Wall and that these were her two favorite Chinese spots in Las Vegas. Given that we love Great Wall, she seemed credible. We finally had a chance to try it and she was spot on. The service was friendly and helpful. The prices were great for what we ordered and the food, was awesome. The flavors were fresh and on-point. There wasn't a weak item in our order. It was all just great. Probably the best won ton soup I've had in this city and the sesame chicken was some of the best I've had anywhere. We'll be back as often as my wife will allow me to order Chinese food and I recommend you do the same! read more

Simple setup, Americanized dishes, relatively low prices, $15 limited-area delivery minimum. The beef & broccoli consists of a little beef, a bit of broccoli, and, inexplicably, a lot of carrots and mushrooms as filler? I like mushrooms but really don't care for carrots, this was an unpleasant surprise. Sauce was decently flavored but on the watery side. Portion for price wasn't as great of a value as I had anticipated. Wor Won Ton Soup was incredibly disappointing. Takeout container is packed with tons of chicken, some shrimp, and a lot of fresh produce, and the won ton skins held up well. But the broth is unforgivably weak and flavorless! Rice To Go (cheesy name and all) is a far better option for quick, takeout Chinese with better selection and quality, get thee to Decatur & Spring Mountain instead. read more

Ok so it has been a very long while since my last visit to the Red Shrimp Co due to bad past experiences. This night I had an all girl sleepover and we were hungry due to the party favors. We wanted Chinese, we were craving Chinese so it had to be! What we ordered: crab rangoons, egg rolls, cashew chicken, garlic shrimp, sweet walnut shrimp, shrimp in lobster sauce, pepper beef, house fried rice, house lo mein, orange chicken. It took two delivery people to carry the two heavy boxes of food. We had a mini Chinese buffet going on in my Condo :) You must go and look at the photos I uploaded for this review! Ok so the service was excellent, the food was hot and fresh! Everything was delicious especially the honey walnut shrimp. Our only item that we did not care for was the shrimp in lobster sauce. No flavor at all and it was super runny and unappealing. I am happy to say that this last experience has bumped the Red Shrimp Co up to a 4 star rating which is a huge jump from previous ratings. This will be one of our reclaimed spots for Chinese take-out and delivery. However I won't hold my breath because their track record is NOT consistent! Mmmmm yum yes! read more
