They took their time and made sure I was comfortable and happy. I wasn't sure if I wanted long nails but Ben assured me to try them out for a week and if I wasn't comfortable to go back and he would fix them no charge. I'm a little upset writing this review because i genuinely enjoy going to this salon and I've been going consistently for the past year. The issue I had was with one of their employees. She has done by gel pedicure three times now and every time she cuts me and messes up. This past time I went, I got black gel and my right big toe was completely messed up and I noticed after I got home. I just don't understand how you can mess up with gel since it gets cured under the blue light. She also cut me and I started bleeding and she does this every time. I ran out of time and never got my pedi, which is want I really needed done. The mani came out ok but my time is valuable to me, not to be wasted. I have been to Foothill Nail Salon a few times in the past without problems. I called to make an appointment for the evening at 6pm. They told me to come at 5:30 instead. I showed up at 5:25 and the owner was just starting a full set for a woman in front of me, so I knew the appointment was going to be late - no problem, although I wish they had told me to come at 6 like I had originally asked. Around 5:45 the owner gets up and walks out the front door and he tells me "it will just be a few minutes." I waited until 6pm and he never came back. I asked a couple employees how much longer they thought it might be and they just kind of shrugged me off. I hung out for a few more minutes with no updates and then got up and walked out. I felt like they should have kept me updated on what was going on, because I would have happily waited if I felt like someone was coming back for me. I love Foothill Nail Salon. Ben has done my nails for about a year now and he has to be one of the best nail technicians I've had. Every few minutes he'll ask how you are and if you like the nails so far(I have yet to correct anything). He is also patient and gentle. I have sensitive skin and used to hate getting my nails done because I'd always get a cut after. With Ben, I'm always satisfied and love the finishing look. The ladies there are also very sweet and though I haven't had any other type of treatment done, I'm definitely going to have Foothill Nails as my first choice. I regret writing this review but I'm very disappointed and it breaks my heart. Ben did my dip powder (not SNS) and I had to go back the very next day for one chip. I actually had an injury to my left thumb that caused bleeding and a painful ingrown after the filing from this manicure too. FOUR days later almost all of the nails were chipped and the powder was falling off. I went in to get this resolved and he tried charging me an additional $25 for a new set of acrylics. The set of dip powder cost $40 and I tipped him $10 for a $50 total. I just had him remove the material and refused to pay another $25. They should have offered a refund. Four days is unacceptable for a $50 dip powder manicure. Ben gave me a $40 refund. read more

I Ignore the crude remarks and comments about customers including me . , lee did my pedicure for a wile but she started start my pedicure then someone else finished because they wanted to make sure not to loose any walking in's About 7months ago I asked to have Steven do my pedicure -Boy ! Lee Wouldn't talk to me or even look at me ignoring and very cold avoiding and unprofessional . Last week I call for an appointment with Steven as I showed up I asked if I could also get a manicure , he said let me ask Ben , no response after asking a few times 20 min later - Walk ins with out an appointment ask for a few manicures Steven ask Ben again, Ben said NO and to hurry up with me that he wanted Steven to take the walk in's ... As a paying customer I consider myself to be respectful and nothing less than $ 10 tip . I found that this nail shop is disrespectful and rude .. is this unacceptable perhaps this is because I requested someone else to do my pedicure other than Lee? My understanding of their language is minimum but enough to know what they say about most customers including me making crude remarks It only leaves a bad taste based on their unprofessional behavior.. read more

This quiet salon is nestled in the corner of a plaza and can be easily missed when speeding down Foothill. Ben was so nice and polite. First off, the staff were very pleasant and worked quickly which I loved. I was offered tea and water and the massage chairs were so pleasant. I'm new to the area and was hoping this could be my regular spot! Unfortunately, despite such a pleasant first impression, the quality of work was so poor. On day two, my toenails became stained upon putting on a black pair of shoes - at which point I realized the technician never applied a top coat of gloss. So I had to get it all redone elsewhere. In addition, the gel nails chipped after three days and totally came off after 5 days from getting it done. Super disappointed as I really wanted to love this place! read more

My nail polish was chipped on day 2 and almost gone on day 4. I am so disappointed! Regular nail polish used to stay on my toes for a month when I did it in my former place. But I really liked them and thought they were so nice, so I thought I'd go back. 2nd time, I called to see if they have a morning appointment available the next day, to which Ben said yes they did. But he wanted to know what I wanted done. When I said a regular mani pedi, he suddenly said that morning was not available and it's better for me to come in the afternoon. Ummm ok? It sounds like maybe he wanted to save the morning spot for someone who was going to have a more expensive service done. That's bad business in my book. This is my second time here and my manicure and pedicure came out exactly how I wanted. I had a couple nails split into my cuticle and Linda cautiously done my nails and shaped them evenly.
