This was my time at Ford's garage and didn't know what to expect. I've heard many people raving about this place and was happy to have a similar excellent experience. The service was excellent from the time someone opened the door until we left. The food was delicious, with generous portions and good presentation. I thought this was a garage and it's a restaurant looking like a garage. Ample parking Decor and details are on point to the brand being a garage, pls see my pics. Very clean space, lots of seating indoor and outdoor. The service is friendly and professional with a very low key vibe which was great! They have televisions on the wall though it's not distracting. Menu is vast from lunch to dinner. There speciality here are the burgers which was delicious. The meat can have a bit more seasoning thou. I had the burger with the smoked Gouda and arugula with a bacon aioli and it didn't disappoint. It was medium well and super juicy. We had broccoli, French fries. Taylor tots and sweet potato tots that came with a side of Carmel sauce. I was surprised as my friend said it's a southern thing. There was no room for dessert. There were a couple of tables with college kids in a few with families, but the space is so spacious that you don't feel like your top on one another. The food was delicious. Such a great experience tonight at Ford's Garage in Oviedo! When I first pulled up the first thing I noticed was that they had plenty of parking. Walking up to the entrance was a really cool old Ford vehicle on display on their sidewalk. They also have a really nice outdoor patio. I went straight to the bar for their happy hour special while I waited for my table. Kelsey was my bartender and was absolutely amazing! Outstanding service and made some great drinks. $6 drinks was a nice plus! My table was called and my party of 10 was seated. Service from start to the end was phenomenal. Our server Kaytlin did an amazing job taking care of our orders and made sure the experience was excellent. Her manager was also very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The food was absolutely amazing across the board. I've never seen a party of 10 where everyone was blown away by their orders. The burgers were amazing, the Buffalo dip appetizer was amazing, the fish and chips were amazing... My Chicken Henry dish was out of this world!! Loved it! A really cool place for lunch or dinner! The decor is neat & I'm told that weather permitting, the garage doors open! We had Nathaniel for our waiter. Super sweet guy! He started us off with the tower of onion rings. The coating was a little too over done for me but still a very tasty ring! They give you two sauces with them: the "traditional" Ranch and a slightly sweet BBQ sauce which was awesome! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend the "Sweet Heat" Burger. It had a good amount of Jalapeno slices, cheese, Pork Belly. Juiciest burger this side of the Mississippi! And the coolest part was the "Ford" logo branded on top of the bun! Whoever owns this chain of restaurants know how to do it right. All of the decorations inside and outside of the restaurant are geared towards mechanics and car parts. The bathrooms are some of the coolest things I've ever seen, and it's coming for new timers to the restaurant to go there to explore. Food is on point Attentive Table Service Fun environment for car lovers Onion Smell is Strong First time in and the food did not disappoint! Fairly easy to find parking in this shopping center location and very quick seating for lunch time! Lunch menu runs until 2pm and shortly after happy hour begins with $4 well done drinks and $2 off other drinks. The open area dining gives a nice relaxing vibe to the place and even though it was cold outside it did not effect the temperature inside. The food was, as said above, amazing! The ribs fell off the bone and the burgers/sandwiches were juicy and fulfilling. If you must choose between the tots and fries, I'd go with the tots. They left me wanting more! The smell of onion is very overpowering throughout the restaurant and if your not a fan of onions i would suggest sitting outside or as far from the kitchen as possible. Our server was very attentive and did great with checking in on us to make sure we were well taken care of. Thanks for the wonderful lunch at Ford's Garage. The amazing experience with car themes was fun. I'm already looking forward to the next visit there. Our food was fresh and delicious. My friends ordered the ahi tuna and chicken sandwich, which looked incredible. I asked if the buffalo chicken sandwich could be made into a wrap with broccoli, and the chef, Chelsea, came out to confirm order. Everything was mouthwatering. Katelyn, the cook, checked on our food to ensure it was up to par. Our server, Haylee, was knowledgeable and personable. She truly cared for us as customers. I feel out of all burger places these are some of the best. Sides are also really good I recommend the sweet potato tots (premium side but worth it). I like the atmosphere the Ford's Garage takes with all the memorabilia too looks really cool. Only two things that they need to work: 1. The place is clean however the floors are like always dangerously slippery in there especially in the bathroom. It might be the shoes that I'm wearing but I wear normal sneakers and I always feel I'm going to hurt myself when I walk around in there. It's like an ice rink. 2. Service is about average, servers are all nice but just a wait to get the food itself. I'd say the wait is definitely worth it though, but maybe just a little too long. We placed our reservation for the soft opening at 11:45 and got there 10ish minutes early because obviously we had no idea what it was going to be like. We were seated right away; good start. After being seated we waited another 10 minutes before calling over what looked to be a manager for some assistance. It's a soft opening so we assumed there would be some bumps along the way, no biggie! The nice man took our drink orders and informed us they were having some issues with the clock in service so it would just be a few more minutes before seeing our waitress. After a few more minutes our waitress finally got there, her name was Haley, she was great! Continued to ask our opinions through out the meal and always made sure to ask if we needed anything else. The music was at a good volume. I didn't feel like I was yelling over the person sitting next to me like I do at most places so hopefully that stays the same. The garage doors were open for a nice day and there was a nice breeze but it wasn't too hot. The food was amazing! The menu was set because they wanted guests to try a variety of foods for the kitchen to practice so our menu included 1 app, 5 entrees to choose from and a dessert. The pretzels were amazing, nice and fluffy and not over salted; which I love! We chose the bleu burger and breakfast skillet. The burger was the best thing we ordered. Super juicy, the fries were crunchy, and we did get the bleu cheese on the side bc my fiancé doesn't like it but the whole burger was so fresh. The skillet was just OK, very bland, and needed more seasoning in my opinion. If they added some Cajun season or something along the lines of that to the fries I think it would be perfect. We ended with the brownie desert which was great. The brownie was hot and the ice cream was the perfect pair. We got our check and we expected to pay for the drinks we had ordered, but it seemed like the man at the beginning of our lunch comped our drinks! Totally unexpected but very thankful. Besides that, our lunch was completely free because they really wanted guests to try their menu items so we gave our waitress a good tip. It seems like they're ready to take care of their customers. When we got to the restaurant it was pretty busy but getting a table didn't even take that long and we were in before we new it! The server was very prompt and very polite and engaging.. Always checking up on us.. The food was absolutely awesome!! We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and very tasty. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Burger and my wife ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger. We also had tater tots as our sides. Very delicious and nice and hot when we received our food. The restaurant is fantastically themed with a car hanging over the bar! Had a 45 minute wait at about 6:00 on a Saturday (even thought there were quite a few empty tables), but we got a seat right away at the bar. (Go figure.) Got the Brisket Ranchero burger which was a burger with a few pieces of brisket on it. My wife got the same thing, but they brought her a Cali burger. She was fine with that after I took the avocado off for her. You get to pick your own sides. The bar is full service with a good craft beer list and even more in cans. There is definitely a Ford (car) motif with the staff looking like they are ready to change your oil and shop rags for napkins (less the oil stains.) I read some complaints about the noise level, but we didn't find it any louder than any other similar place. We topped off our meal with a homemade key lime pie which came pretty close to traditional Florida style. We'll be back. read more

I ordered this online today since I heard this spot is good, got 3 burgers bison burger, jiffy burger and the black and blue burger. When I got home and opened them up I saw that the bison burger was missing the bbq sauce and the bacon, and the jiffy burger only had peanut butter on it and nothing else. That being said I called them to see what could be done. There was a guy on the line that was pretty rude and didn't even offer to remake the burgers or anything, they kept saying "I'll give you the refund for the bacon on both 1.50 each so 3 dollars total" (it's literally 3 dollars for bacon on one burger so he was basically trying to short us) and he kept insisting that because the other stuff on the burger isn't a premium that he wouldnt do anything about that stuff. The jiffy burger was literally just the bun and a patty and peanut butter literally nothing else was on that and the bison burger had no sauce no bacon and it's the most expensive burger option on the menu. Also it was requested for medium well on two of the burgers and they were all cooked very well done. I drove 20 mins there and 20 mins back to have dry sauce less, bacon less burgers. read more

Fords Garage has been a nice addition to Oviedo. The Cali burger is one of my favorites since I am a avocado lover. Their onion rings are also one of the apps we always order. We enjoy the environment! We only had one hiccup with one of our orders. One of the managers on staff took a bit to address it but did come over before we left. If you are looking for a fun place to eat and enjoy burgers this is your spot. If you don't do burgers the Salmon salad is another one of my go to items. read more

Technically I would give this a 3 1/2 stars, but I'll give this the benefit of the doubt. We stopped be free their Sunday brunch menu. It if was for the meal only, it was a solid 4 meal, food was tasty and presentation was nice. However, when we were here that day, it took an extremely long time for the meal to arrive. Our server (as well as the manager) came over a few times to give us updates,, but it still took an unusually long tim,e. The problem was that my wife had ordered the chicken and waffles and they were having trouble with their waffle maker. As a matter of a fact one of the things the server said is that it took so long, b/c the first waffle w came out Burt and they had to make another. I can appreciate the staff wanted to ensure the meal came out nicely made as opposed to burnt. When the meal did come out it was nicely done. A large-ish piece of chicken on top of a sizable waffle with a dish of syrup on the side for it. For myself, I had ordered a Southwest style Benedict; it was unique. For all intents and purposes, it was a fairly standard Benedict, but it had a chipotle style sauce on it to replace hollandaise and some spicy-ish sausage. I am a fan of spice for flavor and don;t tent to like things that are spicy for the sake of being spicy......this thing probably sat on the edge of that category.....it was definitely spice for taste, but near gin a little too spicy for my liking.....to be fair, there is only so much heat I will tolerate. Final word on it is that it was nicely made and I really enjoyed it. I had been to a different Ford's Garage for lunch/dinner meals in the past, but never for brunch ....given that this location opened up near me I wanted to give it a try. Timing aside, it was a nice meal. Parking at this Ford's is pretty easy. There is a big enough lot in the back and several spots in the front. The location is it a decent place except for maybe a bit awkward to get to if you are coming from the Oviedo in the Park side (which we were) By awkward I mean you sorta have to navigate through a maze of a parking lot to get to the restaurant....if you know the area you will figure it out, otherwise it is a bit weird. From the Mitchel Hammock side, its pretty straight forward to get into....especially if you enter near Oviedo Blvd. Seating here was plentiful as well and it had all of the furnishings of a Ford's Garage......Old Ford above the bar, shop rags wrapped in O-rings for napkins, etc. Its worth a stop read more

Our Drinks came in filthy glasses we sent them back and asked for fresh drinks. We got charged for both sets of drinks The hamburgers were ok. The rare steak was almost well done , creamed jalapeño corn looked like disgusting soup watery like skim milk and was oily and nasty the server informed me that was how it was supposed to be .it turned my stomach looking at it The mashed potato's were cool. The onion rings were good and it's hard to ruin steamed broccoli but I do not like paying for greasy slimy drinks or food . They need to actually clean their glasses . They should also look at quality control to make sure the food is actually prepared correctly to say I am disappointed is an understatement . We will not be trying them again. Looks a tad bit bigger than a Krystal burger lmao honestly I was in shock this last time it came out I about choked. Haha definitely leaves you wanting more and again price is way too much for the size of these burgers is shocking. barbq sauce is not very good so don't order anything with barbq sauce. The ribs looked amazing but the sauce just made them not as good as if the sauce was sweeter or something. I don't know barbq sauce needs an upgrade for sure. Came in for lunch. The decor is nice and like the cord cat out front. I ordered wings and hit the sweet heat burger that came with candi pork belly and jalapeños with tater tots. We got our burgers and asked what happened to the wings we ordered as an app. The server admit she forgot to place the order. They made them and comped the wings. Now onto the burger, burger was thick which I enjoy. Too many thin patty places. After eating half I noticed they did not add the pork belly to the sandwich. I brought that to the server and she brought it out. She said this happened a few times today. In that case figure someone would be checking the food before going out. I also asked for it medium rare and came to me medium. It did taste good the loved the crispy tater tots. My son got a chicken sandwich and granddaughter got Mac n cheese and fries, well they messed up her order and gave her tater tots instead. Try explaining to a 3 year that it's still fries. No go lol. Sound like that had a bad day in the kitchen. Service was good and friendly. I will go back and try it one more time due to the thick burger. read more

Meh. I gave this place 2 stars because the restaurant is beautiful! It truly looks like the inside of a vintage automobile shop. Either than that, the food was meh. The flavor was not there. The burgers are massive but if you want any real taste to them, it's has to be drenched in the many flavors they offer. Even with that, I was not impressed. Tater tots were horrible. French fries were cold and horrible. The sodas were all flat. I was very disappointed because I truly wanted to love this place. What a lovely experience today at Ford's Garage in Oviedo, FL! We were (finally) able to get a table and, as good as the food was, what really impressed me was the service. The staff here are sweethearts and they were so kind to my parents (even holding open the door for them as we left). Look, the restaurant is beautiful - I want to return especially during cooler temps when they might open the garage doors. The food is great - we thoroughly enjoyed the legendary Firestone Shrimp, a half rack of ribs, and my American Standard burger was excellent. But Jasmyn, our server, was an absolute doll with a ready smile and attentive service. THIS is how you build a loyal fan base. I stopped in with a party of 8 one weekday evening. The staff was welcoming and professional and seated us fairly quickly. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is fun and casual. Our waitress was energetic and attentive, with knowledge of the menu and great recommendations. I ordered a veggie burger with a side of creamed corn. The corn was ah-mazing. I could eat a trough of it. The veggie burger was tasteless. My daughter had the Mac and cheese bowl with shrimp and she loved it. The onion ring tower was a hit with the teens at the table. The general feeling at the table was that the food was great or boring, so it may just be a matter of finding what suits your tastebuds. We will return and try some different menu items. read more
