They were both great, and I appreciate that they have a creative low/no-alcohol portion of the menu. There is a decent amount of parking; however, spots are not clearly marked outside the perimeter of the building so make your own spot if you need to. They have a covered patio in front of the building where customers can relax. The bar has seating for 12-15 people and there are more high-tops spread throughout the remainder of the barroom. The bar area has been recently remodeled; however, the restrooms look to be original. If there is any remaining funding for another upgrade, I recommend starting there. The only staff member working tonight was Jason and he was great. He honored my gift card and took great care of us. G's Lounge is definitely a local's hangout. Everyone that was here knew each other and had been coming here for years. Nancy and I were welcomed with open arms and one of the patrons even bought us a drink, what a guy! Something you need to know if you do plan to visit here is that they allow smoking inside the bar and the majority of the customers that are here come here because drinks are cheap and they can smoke inside. The bartender offered to open a large exhaust vent on the wall to ventilate the smoky air during our visit, which I appreciate, but I didn't want to impact all the other customers comfort by filling the room with humidity. Overall, I had a great experience at G's Lounge. Drinks are relatively cheap, staff and guests all were very friendly, there's a cigarette vending machine inside the bar, Jukebox, and some games to play if you're killing some time, and they have several monitors for watching the big game. I would certainly come back again but next time I will bring a cigar to enjoy while we hang out.
