D.o.V. 03/01/18 As I was staying close by at the time, I ordered a pie from here and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. I had pepperoni, onions, and sausage and the crust was both flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was a last second decision to come here but it was well worth it. Since this experience I've moved a little closer to Tampa, but I'm still close to this location but sadly the traffic on Lithia-Pinecrest Rd forces me to go closer to my home. I'll always keep this place in mind when I'm back visiting friend in that area. read more

My favorite pizza place of all my 43 years of existence. I've lived a good amount of places... Miami, Miami Beach, Denver and now Tampa/valrico. I have been ordering from them for a little while now. Last time I ordered light sauce and it wasn't light, so I called and they offered to send another, which I accepted. They sent me a great pizza and I was grateful. Today I ordered again with light sauce and it was perfection. When I say this was the best pizza I've ordered from any place, I mean it. Thought this was going to be a nice family restaurant by the reviews on here but they have two small booths inside and a very small establishment. They were cutting onions in the back and the smell came all the way to the front causing our eyes to water. The food is really good for a small place though. read more

Ordered here for the first time recently. Guy on the phone was super nice and helpful with placing my order. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, cheese bread, and tons of mini cannolis. Food was great, especially the cheese bread! I honestly think I ate about 5 of the cannolis myself. My fiancé said it was the best he's had. We will definitely order from here again. The only negative was that they don't deliver to my house which is 7 miles away. It's ok though, the food is worth the drive for me! read more

We were visiting friends last week in Valrico. I had a craving for pizza for lunch. The pizza here is terrific ! We are from the New York City area and didn't expect much. Boy we were surprised , it tasted just like the pizza back home. The new owner Jordon apparently grew up in this area and worked there starting 10 years ago. He is very friendly . Man this was good pizza. Always like to find someplace new to try and this was a great find. Small little locally owned place that you might not know was even there if you were not paying attention. The pizza here is great. Lots of cheese without overdoing it, the crust is thin but not cracker like, and the sauce is just right. We are new to the area and was looking for a great pizza place for takeout/delivery. Something different and better than the generic pizza from Papa John's or Dominoes. Delivery usually takes a while, but it is worth the wait. The only downside to ordering from here is the lack of fries and mozarella sticks. read more

Awesome stone fired pizza! We had the 4 meat with meatballs, something a bit different. We loved every bite! A bit too hot (in the restaurant) to eat in as my daughter and I did. I just moved to this area 2 days after Thanksgiving and I was craving pizza. I was looking for a mom and pop place with really good Italian food. This place did not disappoint. It is not much to look at as far as the walls but that doesn't matter to me, it's the food the taste and the quality. I ordered a Stromboli and a small cheese pizza par baked so I can finish it off at home in a couple of days. I had the Stromboli last night and it was amazing, even cold right out of the box. The sauce for dipping was equally wonderful. I baked the pizza at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and it did not disappoint! So far this is my favorite but I will continue my exploration to make sure it is my number one. read more

Great pizza that is consistent. I've never gotten a sloppy or uneven pie, and the guys that work there are always friendly. I think what sets Formaggio's apart from other places is their tangy sauce and great crust, not to mention the fresh ingredients. My only gripe is that the size of the pies aren't very big, but I suspect that they make them somewhat smaller because they are trying to offset the costs of the ultra fresh ingredients that are pricey. Either way, I've made this place my go-to when I'm in the mood for a pie. read more

I was excited to see that formaggios location had been moved closer to my home. I called and order just one large pizza. I was told 25 minutes for pickup. When I arrived I was told they just need 10 more minutes. I thought ok no problem, however when I walked up to the door I noticed the only 2 the employees there were sitting in a booth both on their cellphones. I still have them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they had just finished a large order and took a quick seat. I went to my car and waited 15 minutes. I was parked in front so I could see the two employees go right back to the booth to play on their phones. I didn't see them move once. I went back in and they admitted they had burned my pizza and needed 5 more minutes. I was not happy and suspicious that they may have burnt it by not looking up from their phones, but I went back to my car to wait another 10 minutes before going back in to hear it was still not ready. He tried to say it was coming. I asked for a refund and left. II wasted one hour on a place run by teenagers. I do not know who is managing this store but this was horrible. read more

Kept hanging up on us, didn't cancel our order, when we asked for a delivery they hung up on us without even getting an address. We had to call back THREE times because they kept hanging up, and we had to repeat our address to them multiple times before actually submitting an order, and when asking for credit card, the employee responded with an "ok" and hanging up without getting the card number. Once again we called back to give him the information, in which he was very rude. read more
