They're using a New York-built wood-fired oven with a rotating turntable, so the pizza is constantly moving while it cooks, and you can taste the difference. They took time to talk with me and shared the Brandon location opened in 2018, and that they had to complete special training/certifications to even qualify to buy and operate that oven. In the window they had a photo for a 16 inch New York style extra large Pepperoni Pizza for $13.99, I ordered the Bogo special. I didn't understand why my total came out to be $19.33. My family and I started to eat the pizza, but it had a funny flavor to it. The pizza was burnt on the bottom. I called the manager the next day and left a message. He did not return my call the following day. I called again and got the same gentleman. He told me I gave your message to my manager and information. I explained to him what happened and that I'm having stomach ache pain because of the burnt pizza. The manager has not called me to this day no one from management has called me. No one from Marco's Pizza has called me. I received a text from someone named Jessie that said he was a manager and he offered to put my refund on a credit at their restaurant. I declined, I want a refund to my original payment my credit card. Jessie said if I don't see a credit I would need to dispute it with my credit card company. At this point I don't think Marco's Pizza has a heart and they do not care about their customers wellbeing at all. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was very disappointed the district manager Jessie did not say anything about the stomach ache I had. No apology offered whatsoever for anything.
