The best Chinese food in town. I am ashamed that I don't have pictures of their great food. Our favorites: filet mignon French style, wor wonton soup, crispy orange chicken, beef lo mein, and house special fried rice. Recently we've been ordering delivery and service is pretty amazing. Nicely packaged and food is still hot. We've eaten here before, I found that the staff are just so kind and friendly. Place is cozy and warm.

They always remember us and even know our usual order, which makes every visit feel a little more personal. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served surprisingly fast. We have yet to have a disappointing meal here. Our family favorites are the beef and broccoli, handmade chow mein, and orange chicken, each one packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time. The portions are generous and ideal for family-style dining, with plenty to share and usually enough left over for lunch the next day. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back again and again. Highly recommend!

Food came out in a good time, especially considering there was a large party having a birthday party at the same time. We ordered a number of entrees and 2 appetizers. Everything was pretty good with my standouts being the hand-pulled noodles and the tofu & shiitake mushroom entree. You could tell the hand-pulled noodles were fresh and made by hand. The sauce on it was good but too salty. The tofu & shiitake dish was served in a savory and tasty home/brown sauce. The scallion pancake was good as well, just much thinner than other scallion pancakes. The Chinese broccoli was good, but I thought it was more bitter than usual Chinese broccoli dishes. The fried rice was okay.

We were seated and the food came out quickly, but after that, service was a bit slow. We tried several things including the crab and pork soup dumplings, shrimp wonton in chili oil, house beef noodle soup, orange chicken, and walnut shrimp. Definitely a place you can easily have a family style meal at! Crab and pork soup dumplings - really good flavor, wish there was slightly more soup in the dumpling! Would definitely get again, especially if you get their HH price Walnut shrimp - my new favorite walnut shrimp in the area! These came out nice and fresh, shrimp was cooked well, sauce was good balance of sweet and savory Beef noodle soup - broth was surprisingly not as hearty as the deep color would make you think, but still very full of beef flavor. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth! Noodles were nicely bouncy with mild chew. Good option if you are in the mood for noodle soup Orange chicken - unfortunately seemed to be a mix of freshly cooked and an old order as some pieces were warmer than others. Good flavor, but chicken inside the breading was quite dry. Wish it was a bit saucier Shrimp wonton in chili oil - to me had a strange aftertaste. It does have cucumber in the wonton - warm cucumber taste was not for me Inside had a rustic appearance with brick walls and industrial lights. A good place to eat with a few friends and try different things. Would come back for the walnut shrimp and crab and pork soup dumplings!

Part of the AADvantage dining program, we decided to give it a try for 5x the miles. Upon arriving, there were only a couple of customers at the bar. The bartender told us to take a seat anywhere we liked. He gave us a couple of menus and then our server popped out of nowhere and was as sweet as can be. We asked about the vodka cocktail prices as they're not listed on their menus and she ended up quoted us the happy hour pricing by accident and was very apologetic. We started off by ordering our well cocktails (still reasonable at 8 bucks each for non happy hour pricing) as well as the (mild) green beans and veggie egg rolls. Both were very hot, fresh, and tasty. Next up were the entrees: Kung pao chicken and added brown rice for 1.00 and Mongolian beef with white rice. Both entrees were large and very tasty. Service was excellent with plenty of indoor seating and it appeared that there was plenty outdoor as well. Definitely my new fave Chinese restaurant as there aren't any really good Chinese restaurants IMO in the LBC. The only tricky thing is the location as it's tucked away in the corner. I also used a voucher from Clipper via Groupon for 30.00 worth of food and drink for 15.00, so an extra perk on top as well.

I'm allergic to imitation Krab so I found a couple items I could eat that in the description did not have Krab, one being the Crunchy Roll. The description says shrimp, tempura, avocado, cucumber. Unfortunately when the waitress brought it, it had imitation Krab in it. I called the waitress over, nicely explained to her that I could not have the imitation krab, she offered to put spicy tuna inside instead. No harm. I was fine with that. I wasn't mad. She said that this roll always comes with krab maybe insinuating that I got it wrong. So we grabbed the menu to reread it to make sure I hadn't accidentally made a mistake and lo and behold there was no mention of Krab in the Crunchy roll description. So I felt OK about sending it back.... Well about less than a minute later the door to the patio swings wide open aggressively and an older blonde woman comes up to our table with my order that I sent back and slams it on the table and says who's order is this??? It startled us to say the least! It was so aggressive and she was so rude. I said I sent it back, I can't have imitation krab. She said then why did you order it?? I said what do you mean, Why did I order it?? I said because your menu doesn't make mention of Krab in the description of this roll so I ordered it. She said Crunchy rolls always come with Krab at any restaurant you go to. I said well that's not necessarily true. I order crunchy rolls all the time at various restaurants and there is no krab in them. She continued to raise her voice telling me I was wrong. She said that I misread the menu, the Crunchy roll always has Krab. So luckily I had the menu in my hand and when she finally let me get a word in edgewise, I said, where does it say krab in the description?? She looked at the menu, studied it for a bit, didn't say a word to me and she picked up the plate and she stormed away. I was right!!!! There was no mention of krab in the crunchy roll description. (See menu below). I got no apology. All the customers out on the patio were looking at us. I don't understand what the point of that was. Why did she come out to make a scene? I quickly found out she was a manager. Her name is Lynn. She also worked behind the bar. I guess our server had to ask permission to exchange the Crunchy roll and she lost her mind over it. I understand that people have bad days, but why would you come to a customer's table and chew them out because they have to return an item that they are allergic to. After reading all the reviews and seeing how many people get sick at this restaurant. I decided that I'm going to make my own review about what happened to me last night. The people that were with me who witnessed this whole scene all encouraged me to write this review. The two women I was with got the wrong sushi rolls as well, but we were afraid to say anything. Can you imagine????? She did end up taking it off the bill, But we were in shock! I have never had such a violent encounter like that with a manager or a waitress or anybody in a restaurant, ever. I was shaking. I have been to Jade a few times. But I will never ever go back into that restaurant again, which is unfortunate because some of my best friends play in a band periodically along with my Fiancé. I can't wrap my brain around why this happened. My family owned several restaurants and I can't imagine having an employee that would confront a customer like she did. The food isn't very good. Our server Mayzie was amazing. We come to see bands every once in a while but the food is very inconsistent, regardless, we still come to see our friends play. One of my good friends is playing tonight in a band, we were supposed to come back again and see her, but that's not going to happen. I don't feel good about coming back ever, it just doesn't feel safe. That is so strange to have to say!!!!

The beef itself was a little chewy and in large pieces. I prefer the meat to be cut a little smaller and would like more lettuce and cucumber. I got a little taste of the spicy fried rice, which was really good. Some of us ordered Thai tea and didn't expect what we received, which was the tea with a Thai tea popsicle. What a treat! We chose to get Mongolian Beef and it was absolutely fantastic. Crispy celery, green onions and decent sized pieces of meat in a terrific sauce. I would love to try to replicate that.
