Nicely situated on the west end of 2nd Street in Naples the restaurant has a clean, fresh vibe. Parking on this end of town isn't so challenging and you might also be able to leave your bike on the front side walk patio. Three of us checked out their Drunken Noodles, Chicken Larb and Special Fried Rice. The first thing I noted was that the spice level - medium - was perfect. The second thing was that no dish was greasy. I enjoyed my full plate of Larb presented more as a salad with lettuce leaves underneath but you could request them on the side. Our favorite local Thai Restaurant! Food and service are always excellent! We love their tea drinks! We went for dinner Sunday evening and the restaurant really filled up. Very glad to see that as this place deserves the business. Family owned and run! Lots of pride and passion in the food and service. Their food and drinks are presented beautifully with accents. The drinks usually have flowers. Food dishes often have a granish (i.e., shredded carrot bundle). It's these little details make them stand out and make you feel as a customer feel special. Someone went to a lot of work to make these accents. Their appetizers are so good, it's hard to order just one! We ordered the Chicken Satay (the peanut sauce is amazing) and Fried Wontons. For dishes we ordered Beef Drunken Noodles and Green Curry, both Medium Spicey and the heat level was PERFECT! For drinks two of us had the Thai Iced Green Tea and I tried the Passion Fruit Lemonade. Their Thai teas are so good and as I said beautifully presented. The Lemonade was refreshing and made with fresh Passion fruit, adding texture, and of course with a garnish accent! Luckily hit stumbled across Rim Talay in Naples on 2nd St. There is a Yelp check-in offer for free veggie spring rolls - so delicious! We also had the best cream cheese wontons ever. Light and flaky wonton and creamy filling. I had the shrimp pad thai and my husband, the chicken pad thai and both portions were huge. We had to take half home for lunch the next day. It was actually even better the next day since the bean sprouts softened a bit in the reheating. :) I want to come back for the chicken satay, tom kha gai and pad see ew. All my favorites! Me and my girlfriends came on a Thursday evening, got seated right away and service was amazing and quick. We ordered mango stinky rice, crying Tiger (which was so tender and served over a bed of vegetables), and green curry with chicken with the perfect amount of kick to it! There were slices of chicken, chunks of potatoes and carrots served with rice, one veggie egg roll, a green salad, and a beautiful orchid! Unfortunately, the green salad was a bit too tart for me, but everything else was great! The pad Thai hit the spot! The texture and flavor were memorable; so excited to have this dish again! Service and ambiance were both good. Waitress was very nice and attentive, but when we were there she had only 3 tables. Staff appeared to be comprised of one person on the floor and one in the kitchen. I'm not sure how they would handle a full house. The fresh rolls are not on the menu but they do have them and they were very good. The Tom Yum was different than I've ever had before. Not sure if it was more authentic or less authentic than I'm used to, but I didn't love it. We probably should have ordered the Tom Kha instead. The Panang curry had good flavor but was extremely stingy on the chicken and vegetables. The sauce was much soupier than I'm used to. I would not order it again. After watching the Naples Boat Parade decided to walk to try Rim Talay for dinner. There was only a slight wait for a party of two as it was almost 8PM (they close at 9PM). The interior is not that big but is clean, modern, and bright. Decor was pretty, and even the silverware had gold-colored embellishments. Service was good, though they seemed busy. It did take a while for the food to come out. Menu is large. Prices are high but expected for Naples. The food itself was very tasty. I would have liked a little more crushed peanut on my pad thai, but that's just me. We also ordered mild for the pad thai and pineapple shrimp curry, but could barely taste any heat. Conversely, the papaya salad was also ordered mild and was quite spicy. I ordered a Thai iced tea limeade which was smooth, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The coconut sauce for mango sticky rice is always a bit too salty for me; I just don't like that sweet salty combo. I did enjoy the crunchy puffed rice topping on the dessert though, which I had not had before for mango sticky rice. Writing this review after devouring my leftovers 4 days later-long story short: amazing- AH MAZING food!! My gfs & I came in on a Friday at 7 pm. We were disappointed that they didn't serve cocktails, but they do serve beer and wine. We wanted the chrysanthemum tea but they were sold out so definitely try it for me if it's available when you go . I ended up getting the Thai lime iced tea & it was refreshing & so tasty!! (I didn't offer to share-I just kept quietly sipping wondering how long I had before they asked for a sip ) It was all of our first times here. We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, pad Thai with beef, & 2 different soups. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. I especially was happy with my pad thai. My friend said she loved the crispy tofu in her pad see-ew. I took the rest of my pad thai home and their take out box is the best! As someone who rarely finishes her food in one sitting, I have come across great and terrible take out boxes lol. Rim Talay has chosen the best takeout box. I kept my pad Thai in their box (sunset brand) for the microwave. Put it in for a minute & let it cool for 45 seconds & it tasted JUST as good as in the restaurant. The noodles were same consistency & the sauce was perfect & the beef wasn't overcooked or tough either! I can't wait to go back for more! rim talay was such a cute restuarant with an open concept and a diverse menu. it was my first time having pad woon sen (silver noodles) and my party and i also ordered their yellow curry. i unfortunately didn't find the food very delicious? i dont know if it's because we ordered wrong but i thought the flavor was pretty mild and the curry consistency was very watery. the lady was manning the several tables on her own during dinner. she was very attentive and sweet. i hope to come back and try it again, but sadly it fell pretty short. read more

This Thai place has replaced Manaow (my favorite Thai place in ling beach) there are a few reason why. Ambiance: is very modern, simple, clean yet fancy. Meaning the silverware looks and feel high end. The ceiling light gives you that Thailand restaurant vibe as if you were in Thailand. Service: the staff are very friend and knowledgeable of the food menu. Food: the fried garlic chives is a must try, so crispy yet soft in the inside and the special sauce pairs perfectly with it. The khao soi was very flavorful, the brisket was tender as well the right balance so salty and savory definitely a must l!! This establishment does an amazing job with the presentation of food, decor, and cleanliness. It's beautiful lit in the day and evening hours! I had the two mixed vegetables entrees, one with chicken and the other with shrimp. Paid a little more for the protein, but it was well worth it! The seasoning is delicious! Parking can be tough, because there's only street and neighborhood parking. I ordered pick-up style and they had my food ready within the 15 minutes they suggested. They had the doors and sliding doors wide open, but with no actual breeze coming in, it just made things worse. If a restaurant can't afford to run the AC, why open at all? I haven't had mock duck in a long time, so I went for the Panang Curry with mock duck. My friend thought it sounded good too, so she went for the Green Curry with mock duck. I went there with my two adopted daughters for dinner. The place was crowded when I got there and we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our food came out rather quickly for a packed restaurant and was very tasty. Everything I ordered tasted just like I thought it would.
