My family and I usually like to go to this buffet but we can't stand the newish lady she's so rude has no manors we're thinking about not coming back we had our child's plate of food by the wall..when your done with your plate you leave it by the edge to say hey I'm done with my plate but no she rudely reached over me and grabbed my sons full plate of food with out nicely asking if he was done..everything time we'd say thank you for anything she says nothing she doesn't even give a smile just nothing. she has a very poor attitude she's been ruining it for us read more

Food was good. Price would be okay except for the $1 service fee. I asked what it was for and was told we charge everyone, not just you. They also raised their prices. The service fee is not listed on their sign with the prices so beware. This $1 fee is charged per person so be careful with large groups. And don't forget the 5 percent charge if you want to use a card. read more

Does not deserve 1 star. Restaurant denied access for my service dog and I. I have trained Svc K9's for 35 years and have never been denied access anywhere. Attempted to educate manager telling him I have been in his restaurant on 4 occasions with another dog. He called me a liar. Called Wauseon Police who tried to educated the manager. He stated he will not allow service animals in his restaurant. Officer explained he was required to allow service animals and he stated he will refuse all service animals. I filed a report and will report with Ada.gov and write letter to editor to make people aware of this restaurants lack of ability to follow the law. read more

I ordered fried rice but was pleasantly surprised to find several decent sized chunks of chicken. Unfortunately, my coworkers rice lacked the chicken he had ordered. With the extra chicken I received in my rice, I didn't even need my General Tso Chicken. read more

We got there at 4 and the food on the buffet was old. The rice was hard and food luke warm. We saw them putting fresh food out so we went and got fresh food and left half a plate of old food on our table. Be cautious when you eat here. They now go by your tables and if they see you have food left on the plate they threaten to charge you extra if you dont eat everything. Terrible food and service, after eating I feel like I have cancer reactivated from third grade. There was this one kid who would rather play Mario Kart than refill my glass. I only come here when I really need a quick Chinese fix and I don't feel like waiting too long for an order. This place has beautiful decor and a rather large buffet. The only problem is the service. Typically a child will seat you or run the counter. The staff is very inattentive, even when they aren't busy. If you want to come in to a restaurant and not be bothered by staff then this is the place for you. I admittedly have gone in here when I don't feel like interacting with a waiter/waitress but the downside is, your plates will stack and your drinks are barely refilled, sometimes never refilled. Keep in mind that you have to go up to the desk to get your bill paid because they rarely come to the table to pick it up, unless there is an attentive server which is rare. I was once eating there a few months ago and the waitress who was serving was on her phone speaking, with an earbud in her ear. She barely came to my table except to give me the bill when I wasn't finished eating. Aside from awful service, the food is fairly mediocre. Really nothing special. The food is rarely fresh or restocked, unless you go in the morning or noon, but it seems like they never replace old food so it just sits there all day. Once in a blue moon, they might have sushi, but don't come in here expecting a sushi bar. If you really want a fully stocked buffet, you should come in when they open-noon. Otherwise, good luck getting fresh food. The one of the few things nice about this buffet is the ice cream and chocolate fondue at the end of the buffet. read more

My food was prepared accurately however my coworker ordered chicken fried rice and received fried rice. BRING YOUR OWN CHOPSTICKS Great food terrific service my glass was empty after my first plate and three plates later it was still empty, I eventually filled it myself. First plates were still on the table when we left and selection was minimal. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Went to this establishment today because it's my 8 year olds favorite place to eat & it was his birthday today so he requested it. The male server which I'm assuming now is the owner by the way he was acting was horribly rude. Refused to fill any of our drinks up and made snide remarks. My 3 kids were very well behaved and polite and of course young children are not going to like everything on their plates. We left at 8:30pm and closing time is 9pm. Realized my bill was missing from the table after it was just there 10 min prior and when I went up to pay, the bill they had for me went up $5. I told them I looked at the total and that was not it. The owner walked over and told us to never come again & we wasted a plate of food so he was charging us for it (no where in this restaurant does this state this was the policy). My son who's birthday it was immediately started crying after the owner was so rude and told us to never return. We have went to this restaurant at least every 2 weeks for the past 2 years because my child loved it so much & they just lost us as customers. Giving dirty looks constantly, up charging bills for one plate of wasted food all together and then yelling at my family really is not a great way to keep customers at your small buffet. Generally wouldn't be a bad place for a quick bite of food if only that food was hot. I'd worry about food poisoning from the first two serving tables that were room temperature. Very large buffet. Two islands of typical zones food, one of seafood, one salad bar, and a fifth desert bar and ice cream freezer. Food was better than average for a buffet. This restaurant is really dependant on what time you go. If you go right at lunch or right at dinner the food will be fresh and great. Any other time you're running the risk of getting food that's been sitting for awhile. It's all about timing. (Like most buffets) read more

Took our grand children here for dinner last week. The buffet was almost empty and they were out of rice also. Rice? The owner ( I presume) was not friendly at all and very short when I asked her about the buffet being low. Just then a party of ten walked in and they were really behind. She was yelling at our waitress for the buffet being low on stock. I left a good tip but I was told the owner splits all tips at the end of the day. This was not intended for the owner.....just our waitress. I told her to put it in her pocket and she said she couldn't and if she did she would be fired. The owner checks the cameras to make sure the correct amount is turned in at the end of the day. This is really too bad because the food is good. Needless to say we will not be back! read more

Excellent buffet for a small town! They have a good variety of food choices so no one should go away hungry. The baked salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was seasoned just perfectly. Everything I got that was supposed to be hot was just that- hot! Same for the cold stuff- cold! All in all a nice buffet for a very reasonable price (5.99) at lunch time. I have been to this place 3 times in the past year hoping for better results nothing. We went tonight at 8 PM and they had very little offerings of food. The food was cold and they didn't put out any fresh food while we were there. And we weren't the only customers! Their fried shrimp is undercooked, you can taste the raw batter and their crab Rangoon is dripping with oil. You can tell they don't discard the old food because the vegetable lo mein had hard noodles where they had been there all day. Tonight is the last time I will be into fortune kitchen. They don't care about their customers, all they care about is charging them 8.29 for a full buffet that isn't stocked at all. read more
