I don't eat donuts but I bought some here for the kids and they loved them. I was struck by how sweet and friendly the lady who ran the place was. There is a cash only sign but they do allow credit cards now apparently with an added fee. Donuts were well made visually and had nice cake like consistency ( the sprinkles did at least) and they had some unique flavors ( bacon, Captain Crunch or some cereal flavor). Nothing too crazy or unique. No ice cream when we were there, I think they discontinued the ice cream. Two basic round donuts were $2.45. I will go here again. read more

Some of the better doughnuts in the Conejo Valley! They're $12/dozen for regulars, or more for the fancy stuff. They have all the standard options you expect--raised, cake, old fashion, crullers, bars, etc., plus some you won't find just anywhere, like a maple bacon bar or raised rounds covered in icing and Froot Loops. They also have croissant doughnuts (á la cronuts). The best part is they're open late, unlike many doughnut shops in the area, so this is your spot for a late[r] night doughnut fix. read more

Delicious Cinnamon Rolls! But CASH ONLY. I strolled over here from Pep Boys while my car was being worked on, and was pleasantly surprised. The cinnamon roll was HUGE, moist and delicious. But it is cash only, so I literally had to dig around in the bottom of my purse to find enough change! It was definitely worth the effort! The atmosphere is nothing special. NO A/C on a very hot day, creepy/grimy restroom - and the counter staff person was on her cell phone loudly arguing with her family most of the time. I've had a lot of donuts before but they don't come close to this place!!! Their donuts are always fresh and seem like they make them all day. I know some donut places that make donuts once a day and you can definitely tell. I love glazed twist donuts and fruit filled. You can definitely tell that the donuts have fillings and how much. Yummmm!!! I do hate the parking lot here because it's super tight and when venders come with trucks it's a nightmare but totally worth the hassle. Also there is a laundrymat in the same walking distance as the complex so it's super easy to do laundry and enjoy a donut and a coke :) read more

I just went into the business right now and the lady who worked there was very rude. I went in and asked what iced coffee flavors they had available and she did not give me a response. As I'm looking at the menu she stated, "What do you want, I'm closing right now." Keep in mind the hours posted on the front door state that the business closes at 10pm and I was there at 9pm, an entire hour before the business' scheduled closing time. Hands down my favorite donut shop. The owners are the best. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and ordered breakfast croissants (tip: if you like jalapeños you can ask for them!) and while she was putting them together and heating them up, she was joking with me and chatting. Just overall really friendly and we shared a few laughs. But back to the breakfast croissants, they are AMAZING and the best breakfast croissants I have ever had. I've never considered myself a "donut" person, (well, other than those nine months I was pregnant with my 1st born, but that doesn't count). A few months back, I decided to surprise all our kids who were home for the weekend. I went to the closest donut store, one that used to be one of the best in town, but under new ownership had declined in taste, selection and customer service. Of course when I had made the decision to get the donuts, I wasn't aware of this and brought home some of the driest, tasteless things that even my kid wouldn't eat! About 2 months later, I wanted something sweet, like donut holes or the like, but remembering the last time I got some, they were gross. My hubby reminded me there is a donut store by the auto parts place he frequents ( he's in the process of rebuilding his 3rd car, a 64 Lincoln Continental. Now THAT'S sweet!) So he said he'd pick up a little something for us, and he went to Foster's... Well, guess who likes donuts now?!? The sweet ladies who work at Foster's, their ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SELECTION OF DONUTS, and great prices, had everything to do with it. The next time all the kids were home, we went on a donut run, (though they were a little doubtful of donuts from the last time they decided they'd "try them I guess" (like I was some kind of donut pusher trying to get them on my goods!) Foster's is now making their very own version of the "cronut", you know, that croissant-donut combo that is taking NYC by storm? Never having tasted the original version, I had to have this one. It looked delicious, you can see the flaky layers just by seeing the cronut in the case. When you bit into it, it's slightly denser than you might expect. Not as soft as a croissant, but not as dense as a cake donut. It just has nice density as you bite through the layers. The outside of the cronut, gets this lovely crispiness from being fried and yet manages to still be flaky in that messy croissant way. I'm almost sorry that I found these, as I know I'll be going back regularly for more. read more

Why do I even eat these addicting things?!? My office LOVES Foster's Donuts so I am obligated to bring them in every Saturday morning during tax season. I especially like the glazed and my co-workers like the chocolate glazed. I usually get a mixed variety for clients that may stop in as well. They also serve coffee drinks and ice cream. It's a standard donut shop. Their snacks are sweet and coffee weak. Friendly staff, open late, and within walking distance. I'll be back. Donuts soft and fluffy on the inside, with a thin crispy outer layer, covered with just the right amount of frosting! Yum! I went here at 10:30pm on a Saturday, and got a half dozen donuts for $5.25: two pink sprinkle donuts, two white frosting sprinkle donuts, and two glazed. Haven't eaten the glazed ones yet, but the white sprinkle donut was HEAVENLY. The pink sprinkle donut was good, but not orgasmically so. The donuts here are huge and delicious. It's our family tradition for the first one up on Christmas morning to go get Fosters before anyone else wakes up. These donuts are so good. The maple bacon bars are the best I've ever had and I've had donuts all up and down the pacific coast and across the southern US. They also have Oreo topped bars, Fruity Pebbles topped bars, Cocoa Pebbles topped bars, and cronuts for people like me who get bored with regular donuts. Owners are super nice.
