We understand it's busy, it could be frustrating and stressful, but that interaction wasn't necessary, it was a clear misunderstanding and we asked switched to take out to avoid issues or taking someone else's spot. We also noticed other customers making the same mistake, which made it seem like the seating process wasn't clearly communicated. A simple greeting or letting customers know there was a waitlist before ordering would have completely avoided the misunderstanding instead being dismissive. I also don't recall seeing "please wait to be seated" sign or I'm not sure if we missed it ? Despite this experience, we still plan on coming back b/c we truly enjoy the food and the cafe itself.
