Paid a lot, got a little. We were in the mood for a great burger and decided to try Fosters Freeze. The place was empty at 7:30 pm, but we passed over several tables trying to find a clean one. The servers were nice enough while taking our order, but nothing else really occurred in the way of customer service. The food was edible, but not really good. I used to come here with my dad back when I was a kid ALL the time. I was craving ice cream in a cone, and the first place I thought of was Foster Freeze. It's literally near my house and I didn't want to take my chances of going to another restaurant that might say their ice cream machine is broken. We ordered a large vanilla cone, large swirl cone, and a large vanilla milkshake. Prices were not bad considering the amount of ice cream you get in each cone! They do 1$ deals on Wednesdays for small cones! The guy who helped us was super nice! He was cheerful and it made buying the ice cream worth it! Had a great drive thru experience here on a hot Wednesday early evening in August. No one ahead of me in the drive thru line and I was greeted and asked to order quickly. I ordered a medium Root Beer Float and a Jr. sized Cookie Dough Twister. Payment was taken at the next/only window. The wait was not long. The float was for my friend , I really liked the twister - if you love soft serve vanilla ice cream you will love these. Refreshing treat on a hot day. I'd visit this location again. Got a couple items today that mostly came out as expected, except for my Reese's Twister (pictures included). Fosters used to fill these things up to the brim, now apparently my $8 gets me a partially filled cup of ice cream. I said something to the cashier and was given some song and dance about new hires wasting ice cream and being required to keep the amount under the rim. Apparently, "under the rim" also means a big, fat hole drilled into my ice cream with nothing but air filling the space. If this is what I can expect from Fosters, I'll happily go to Sonic from now on when I'm craving a shake. read more

If hell had a restaurant, this would be the place. Their overpriced, below average food needs a kick in the right direction. The poor woman working the drive thru probably never hears the end of it because she's the first person the customer sees when they realize the food is shit and or the ding-dong of a cook in the kitchen fucked up their order because of his/hers 2nd grade reading level. This place is not good in my opinion. First the price was too much its around 8 or 9 bucks for a meal. Second it doesnt deliver the meat on the burgers isnt cooked right & it's just missing flavor. I've come here plenty of times and this is the first time my food has taken so long to come out. Waited almost 20 minutes for 2 burgers and fries, now if it was busy, I would understand the wait, but it wasn't even busy, the woman on the grill took forever, when I asked a worker, they said it was there supervisor on the grill. Not only was she slow at her job but she was rude when talking to her coworkers, just barking orders at them like they were beneath her. The only thing that saved the visit were the deserts that a wonderfully nice worker named Miracle made, she has made my deserts in the past and they have always come out wonderfully and that was one of the reasons I always returned to this location. read more

I had not been to Foster's Freeze for awhile and let me tell you. I had the best service, and food. My classic burger was nice and fresh, cooked to perfection and the vegetables were freshly cut. Now let me tell about the fries, cooked correctly, and not over salted. Not one fry was soggy, each one was nice and crisp. The women at the window was super nice and friendly. I had not been to this Fosters Freeze in awhile because the last time I was there ( before Yelp was invented and before many of you cone eaters were born ) I went here a few times and it took FOREVER TO GET MY ORDER!! So I was hesitant but I do love their Triple Berry Shake and had one recently at the other one in the other side of town but that one is weird. Anyway!! Came in for lunch with a co-worker and our cashier was a young man. He was very nice and totally made the experience. Food came out great and quickly. We both got the old fashion with cheese and bacon. Everything was cooking perfectly. I had chili cheese fries and she had the onion rings. The onion rings had a nice crunch to them. My fries were delicious, the only thing I would have to say is I wish the fries were a tad crunchy only because I am slow eater so the chili made them a little mushy. We also ordered 2 half and half dipped in chocolates to go. My ice cream cone came out perfect, my co-workers on the other hand did not get fulled dipped in the chocolate or they did not let it setup enough so hers was really messy. Walked in to order dinner for my family of seven I kept my order sample I think ordering the old-fashioned burger for six of us and a grilled chicken meal for one of us, some shakes in chocolate and a couple vanilla and some onion rings. Our shakes fries onion rings and chicken sandwich all came out fine however I asked for no special sauce on the burgers and they put sauce on all but 1! Also I wasn't aware the burgers didn't come with cheese as every picture of them in the restaurant they have cheese. Must've been someone in training taking our order as there were three different employees taking it which I didn't mind people have to learn and the place wasn't packed at all. One of the employees held the door for us as our hands were full with takeout which was nice. The fries were lightly salted which I like as I'm not a huge salt person the onion rings were good and we all enjoyed our milkshakes. All in all I'll probably go back to this location however I will make sure my order is 100% correct before leaving the restaurant. Aka no sauce add cheese. read more

About what you'd expect from Foster's Freeze. The employees are usually nice and friendly. Service seems as smooth and fast as could be expected. I only wish they would be more specific about pulling forward to the second drive-thru window if that's what they want you to do. They will take your money at the first one but never tell you to pull forward. Seems like whatever you do, they get you what you need to get on your way, but it would be helpful if they gave a little more direction in that regard. I'm all about the Mud Pie Twister, and they do it right. read more

This location is the worst F.F. location I have visited. The price of food, for some reason, is slightly higher when compared to other locations. The amount of food is less than at other locations. My order has been wrong on more than one occasion, which is strange as it is not as busy when compared to other fast food joints.
