I have been coming to this location for a while now, so it's about time I write a review! I previously went to a different location and I didn't love it. So I wasn't so thrilled about coming back. I'm so glad I did though. I've had nothing but good experiences as well as good food and drinks. What more could you ask for?! The workers have always been really kind and helpful when you have any questions or need anything. They have smaller tables that fit 2 people, or they have some booth type tables that are a bit more roomy. There are also some comfy couches. The food and drink are always great....what is never great or even good is the service... The first time I thought I had just came on a bad day maybe people called off and they were short staffed. But the second and third time it was exactly the same, they never seem to have enough staff it takes a good 25 to 30 minutes to receive a food and drink item. The staff apologizes as their walking away , just kind of adds to the bad service. Food is delicious though when you eventually get it I have to add, as one of the workers who seems to be in charge brought the last drink we were waiting fir and sincerely apologized and offered a free drink on next visit. I'm new to this place and the first time I went there it was a great experience and my drink was good. The 2nd time I went I got the same drink and it wasn't the same taste as the last one. I ordered a strawberry matcha ! The person that made it last layered it and it was good! Today when I got it a barista went on and on how she couldn't layer it because it's difficult.. little does she know I use to be a barista but I didn't want to embarrass her ... she clearly needs more training so there can be CONSISTENCY with the drinks. We had high hopes for Founders only to be disappointed in all aspects of our visit. To begin with the service fell short and workers were not friendly. We ordered two coffees and a piece of toast. Coffee was reasonably priced, toast was outrageous for what it is. The coffee lacked flavor and smoothness. The ambiance was fine, until we waited over 30 minutes for two coffees a a piece of toast. There are so many better coffee shops in Vegas and Henderson and I would highly recommend you try any of them out before you decide to give Founders a try. read more

I usually frequent the Durango Dr location but since I'm a bit closer to St Rose, it's nice to have options. First off, the decor is so cozy and pretty. If you're into photography or being IG basic, this place is great for pictures. I love their green plush couches and all around green and white decor and furniture aesthetics. For iced drinks, I'm all about getting a cold brew, splash of cream and add coconut syrup. Or a latte with either coconut/almond/oat milk add coconut syrup. Their cold brew is fantastic. I get their veggie quiche probably once a week. Comes with a small serving size of spinach too and that quiche is delicious! Very flavorful and perfect amount for lunch or even save until dinner later. Their Drink of the Month usually supports a local charity or non-profit group so that's always a great thing. One month, all proceeds from that drink of the month went towards a humane society so I was all about that. Love supporting local businesses....especially ones that provide good customer service. Service was by far the worst I've ever had I walked in with my husband and baby I didn't get even a hello as I was standing at the counter doesn't make a customer feel good ... and to say the least I wish I would have gone across the street. The only thing worth the while was the burrito and even that had chunks of cold shredded cheese. The coffee was sadly burnt tasting and was NOT worth the almost $50 I spent. During these cold times the warmth of coffee gives the gift of cheer. With social distancing measures in place, coffee shops that provide indoor seating are more than third places serving hot beverages that stimulate energy. They also stimulate mental health. The brand new Founder's Coffee off St. Rose Parkway in Henderson is one of the newest places giving the gift of cheer.    This is the second Founder's Coffee. The original location is off Durango and Sunset. From what I read, Founder's is a spinoff of MTO Cafe. They pride themselves on being a "Las Vegas Coffee Shop for Locals by Locals."    Yesterday this local checked out Founder's Coffee. It was by accident. I was about to patronize the coffee Goliath across the parkway. However as my last review explained, the horrible parking situation led me away. And the Goliath outpost one mile away was closed for deep cleaning. And long and behold, my trusted Yelp app led me across the parkway to Founder's Coffee. My plan was to hang out there, hike along the nearby St. Rose Parkway Trail then try the new Potbelly in the parking lot.   As I write this the shopping center Founder's is in is a work in progress. The upshot is that parking is a breeze. However, the parking lot favors westbound St. Rose Parkway. There is currently a want for an exit onto Amigo Drive which leads to a signalized intersection with St. Rose Parkway.    When I walked inside this spacious coffee shop, the batista greeted me right away. Although there was a lot to choose from on the overhead menu including all kinds of caffeinated beverages and toast sandwiches including a New York favorite: lox, and the pastries in the case looked appetizing, I only ordered a 16 ounce medium coffee. It came out to  $3.25. When you think about it, it is pricey. However, the refill was included. And $3.25 is worth the price for a drink that stimulated my energy in an environment that stimulated my mental health. And what an environment. This is an L-shaped coffee shop that combines the color schemes of white walls interspersed with wallpaper and pictures under a red warehouse ceiling. Throughout the relatively large space are a diversity of seating patterns. There is a lounge area of plush couches next to plants. There are technology friendly tables with outlets, and all sorts of seating patterns. The most interesting spot is the technology friendly table facing the entrance. The plate glass windows overlook the distant mountain that makes for a dramatic view during sundown and sunrise.     Far closer than the mountain over Southern Highlands are the pictures on the wall. Some have funny coffee affirmations like "I like big cups and I cannot lie." "Tall, dark, and addictive." But many have a picture of a goat. This includes the coffee cup. I was starting to see a goat theme. When I was washing my hand for twenty seconds in one of the two multi gender restrooms while looking at wallpaper of goats, I was like" what is going on here?" This goat is to Founder's what the canine is to Raisin Cane's. That is "providing an upbeat environment through a cute animal." Apparently the backstory of the goat that adorns Founder's is that a Goat Herder named Kaldi discovered that after cutting the berries in the ancient forests of the Ethiopian Plateau from a certain tree that his goats became so stimulated they stayed up all night. Who doesn't love an imaginative place with a cute backstory?     Founder's also has an interesting front story. This location was born during the Coronavirus 19 pandemic. Upon opening for business it opened with comfortable seating that offer social distancing. Operating during the pademic they abided by the protocols. Both the guests and employees wore masks. The barista placef the sweeteners in the cup. When it came time for a refill they served it in a new cup. Hand saniter rested on a table near the counter. The restrooms and tables were immaculately clean.    After sharing my experience here, "Can you see why spending time in the warmth of this upbeat coffee house during the cold times of the pandemic gave me the gift of cheer that stimulated both my energy and mental health?" I would like to return to Founder's in the future. read more

I wanted to try some place new for coffee/breakfast, so I went with Founders. They're open at 6 a.m., which is great since I prefer to grab my items before going into work. They also have online ordering, and a drive thru, which makes things even more convenient. I was running late due to unforeseen traffic conditions, so I called to let them know and they said they'd remake it closer to the time so it would be fresh. That was much appreciated. The coffee tasted good, about a 4/5. I got the Lavender White Mocha. It was the perfect mix of coffee flavour and sweetness; however, I didn't taste any hints of lavender really. The breakfast croissant I got was a major let down. Considering it is $8.25, I expected at least what was pictured on their website menu. I got something completely different and more so worth $4. The croissant was extremely greasy, and oozed every time I bit into it. The egg/cheese/bacon were not the quality you'd expect of a $8 croissant sandwich, but more comparable to a McDonald's mcmuffin. If I return, I'm keeping it at coffee orders only. However, the location is somewhat out of the way for me, so haven't decided if the coffee alone is worth the trip. read more

We came and really wanted to enjoy this place but honestly I don't know how they have 4 stars. I returned the Hula because it taste like iced hot chocolate, then got a vanilla iced latte WITH an extra shot and it was extremely weak in coffee and no flavor. My friend got their so called most popular drink and it was so much lavender and no coffee flavor. The coffee is very weak and trust me, I am like a huge coffee guru. I drove from North Las Vegas so 30mins out and this was a huge disappointment. We winded up leaving and making it up at Royal coffee‍‍ I would recommend them to change their coffee or get stronger beans or retrain the baristas or something. read more

I was pretty excited to try this new coffee place. I couldn't wait to try the avocado toast! I got the Hula Girl and the Avocado Toast. I was told the Hula Girl is supposed to be like a Samoa Girl Scout Cookie... I don't feel it tastes anything like a Samoa. It tastes like a strong mocha latte if anything. Now... onto the avocado toast..... in the description is says that it has sundried tomato. The avocado toast that I received had no sundried tomato. I thought the toast was ok... but feel it was definitely lacking the flavor it could have had it actually had sundried tomato. The cashier was kind, food came out quick! The food was only OK, the 3 out of 4 drinks were terrible. Prices were high for the amount of food you get. Almost $13 for a bagel sandwich and the bagel isn't the standard size you get at the store. It's unexpectedly smaller. The French toast sandwich was good, but also for some reason incredibly smaller than compared to similar restaurant/coffee houses. I got 3 boba drinks, the ube had not ube flavor at all. No boba straws provided. My husband said this was cultural appropriation and they missed the mark lol. Almost no flavor, it was all on the bottom stuck to the cup. $80 plus $8 in tip, so $88 for 4 sandwiches and 4 drinks. Very unimpressed, maybe remove the boba drinks from the menu unless you can get it right. I understand trying to have homemade bagels but at least make them the size everyone is use too, or a sample out of what the bagel looks like. It's beautiful inside, plenty of space and seating. I recommend this place but not the boba, I'd stick to coffee, and maybe have a snack before you go since portions are smaller than what we are used to. I am very disappointed with the service I just received less than 10 minutes ago. I come here quite a bit for coffee and smoothies . Today just "now" was the most unpleasant visit . I came here to try their acai bowls because on my last visit the lady told me I had about $8 points to use . I order one , they are out of granola which is fine. So I pay and told the cashier I would like to use my dollars and she said oh I already charged you . She didn't even give me the opportunity to put in my phone number as I know credit cards are linked to receiving points as well and I used a new one today . I told her fine whatever . She gets someone to help and this lady tells me you will have dollars on your next one . I looked in my account and come to find out I have $9 to use . So did she just tell me this because I was charged already and didn't want to take the extra step to reverse the charge?!!! I am very disappointed with the services and the acai bowl is not worth $15 . It was frozen and not fresh . It just came out of freezer ! I can tell !! I will only come back to use my $9 for coffee and will never return after . Why do you all have to be rude! This is my second matcha place in Henderson that I found that takes their matcha seriously. I love how they have variations of matcha drinks which states that they care about their matcha fans to vary it up and keep it interesting. I ordered the strawberry almond milk matcha. , and it was delicious! When it's summer time, I'm coming back for the banana foam version that's on ice. It was too cold yesterday. And I'd also like to try out their toast variations as well as the flights. How cute is it that they have coffee flights? This place is still just as underwhelming as the first week it opened. I don't know why I tried it again lol other than the fact it's like a few hundred feet from my house and I really wanted a quiche. So I did, I got a quiche and a drink. The employee seemed like a little upset by me ordering a quiche(?). The salad it came with was literally just a few pieces of spinach. And the quiches are $11 now, I'm pretty sure they were under $10 not that long ago. Drink was foamy and tasted like milk, not coffee. It's a lot of small things, but it all adds up to "don't go here". I think it's easy to tell this place is poorly run. The employees weren't really nice (like at Royal Coffee, or other places) and the food was expensive and not really worth it. Location is saving this place for now, but I can't imagine they're around long term. If you want a quiche, MAYBE go here. But mostly I would suggest to go to Royal Coffee.
