Great food as always. Service is always good even in the morning when the building is packed. People forget they serve dinner. The decor is nostalgic like you were there 20 years ago. My favorite spot here in Tracy.

Stopped by here for breakfast before starting my Tracy flower visit. Arrived at 9:30 AM, and about two-thirds of the tables were occupied. Ordered my food but waited over 30 minutes for it to arrive--maybe they were understaffed. The food was average, but the service was friendly. The waitress mentioned that the busiest times are every Saturday and Sunday. Still, happy to support a family-owned business!

After working night shift, it's always nice having a local spot to stop in for a bite to eat before going to bed! I'm so glad I tried breakfast at Four Corners. Their classic eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon definitely hit the spot, and the hash browns were perfectly crispy and crunchy. The staff were all friendly and helpful, experience I dined solo and sat at the bar. The cinnamon rolls are NOT to be missed. Take one to go for later like I did. The OJ also tasted fresh-squeezed. I would absolutely dine here again with a bigger group; the cozy farm town restaurant vibe is awesome :)

Four corners is a historical restaurant on the outskirts of southern Tracy. This restaurant has been around for 40 years and is popular among older locals. I would say the outside and inside of the restaurant reflects how long they have been in business. I definitely felt like I step back in time every time I walk through the doors. However, the place could use a facelift to update it just a little bit. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sat. They are open from 7am-1230 on Sundays and closed on Mondays. They serve breakfast until 11am. This place can get busy during breakfast and lunch. I've never eaten dinner here, but I'd imagine it can get just as busy. There is a decent amount of seating in the front area with bar top seating also. There is a back room, which has a generous amount of seating. There is one gender neutral bathroom. The staff here have always been friendly and the waitstaff have always provided good service. As for the food, I have only eaten a variety of their omelettes and the linguiça sandwich. There is nothing spectacular about those items, but I enjoy them. The hash browns always show up nice and crispy. They do serve a wide variety of food. According to their website they serve the following: Burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, steak dinners, old fashioned liver and onions, and even seafood - plus, of course, genuine Broaster Chicken. If you want to visit a unique and historical restaurant while enjoying some food, you won't regret your visit here.

Clean place that served as a better alternative to fast food on I5. They close by 1:30 pm so don't wait too long to grab lunch.

Once again, we brought our daughter to your special night for families like ours,…read moregot there with an early reservation (our daughter eats early!) and yet again had a very lovely time. I was trying to figure out what to do for our daughter's 13th birthday that wasn't too "little kid" themed and thought maybe we could do an early dinner before your typical crowd comes in. When I looked at your website it was like it was meant to be that ON her birthday you were having your special event. It was perfect. Food- she still prefers her safe food so her meal was the Golden Arches ;) but thank you for letting us bring it in for her. For mom and dad- this time instead of just appetizers we opted for an appetizer (garlic bread), and two main dishes: the pernil and the creamy chicken pasta. Everything was delicious. My husband took one bite of the pernil and I heard him say "oh yeah" lol. My chicken pasta was flavorful and had plenty of veggies and chicken and the portion was perfect for me to have leftovers at home. That garlic bread though-- you are not kidding around with that! It was very tasty! Thank you for the little birthday dessert, while we knew she wouldn't eat it, it was important for her to have the candle/singing experience. Then of course she made us eat it. (And yes it was also delicious.) Hope we can return on other nights both with our daughter and if ever possible for a mom and dad date night. There are many other dishes we want to try.

For an appetizer, it's definitely on the larger side and was very filling as a solo diner. That said, it would make an excellent dish to share with the table! The carnitas were flavorful, tender, and a great way to kick off the meal. I also ordered the pineapple michelada, and honestly, it was good! I don't think I've ever had a pineapple michelada before, but it was refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. I'd absolutely recommend giving it a try if you're visiting! For my main entrée, I had the red chilaquiles topped with carnitas. One thing I've noticed lately is that a lot of places seem to take the easy route by using a simple tomato based sauce for their chilaquiles. That definitely wasn't the case here!! The chile rojo had a rich, well developed flavor that tasted like it was made from scratch with care rather than taking shortcuts. The carnitas and over easy egg were a perfect addition, and I enjoyed every bite!! The restaurant has plenty of seating inside, but I chose to sit on the patio. It was nicely shaded and made for a peaceful, relaxing breakfast outdoors. To top it all off, the service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. Overall, El Bistro by Salt & Pepper was a pleasant surprise. Between the thoughtfully prepared food, unique drinks, relaxing atmosphere, and great service, it's an easy spot to recommend. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu.
