I've come both on a weekday lunch and a weekend lunch and love that their menus are different. You do pay a little more on the weekends, but honestly it's worth it because they had items like fried crab legs and scallops and if you're into it, the chocolate fountain and station is running. Their regular weekday menu is so affordable for what you get. You are able to get sushi, create your own teppanyaki, lots of seafood options, there's a person who is fire grilling chicken, beef, squid in the back and you have a serve yourself ice cream area. I think the stars of the buffet are all in the Chinese section. Each dish is made really well and is the same as restaurant quality. I love that they have grilled skewers as well and they seem to constantly be putting food out so you hardly see an empty tray. I've tried a bite of most the desserts and they can honestly be skipped in my opinion but they have a great selection of fruit to choose from near the salad area. If you want dessert, I'd suggest the ice cream. The cookies and cream and green tea ice cream are really good. The people who work here also are all really attentive. They constantly make sure you have a clear table if your plate looks finished and they are always checking to make sure you have enough water/drinks. I think it's also very cute that they give you a balloon at your table if it's your birthday and they do a little song for you haha Everyone seems very nice and I haven't had a bad experience with anyone from the front of staff to the people clearing our tables. I went during the weekday where the lunch buffet was $20+tax which is a pretty good deal for all you can eat. They make you pay at the front counter before you get seated which is probably better since the service was dismal. After I paid, they sat me down. I think next time, I would insist on the host seating me closer to the buffet as it is very difficult to maneuver to the buffet line since the restaurant didn't leave much walkway room for patrons. We were part of a large group that held a reception after attending a memorial service. The dinner service must include crab legs because I did not see any at lunch. Fountain drinks , hot tea is by the teabag only, unlike the usual kind in Chinese restaurants. TV was tuned to a game but I wasn't paying attention to it. Just got back from having dinner. Since it's a Thursday, there wasn't a crowd. A good amount of flowing customers coming and going. Dinner for 2 adults, one 5 year old, and 3 drinks came out to be $77.42. We did tip with cash on the table like we normally do at any buffet. The staff was nice and the restaurant looked clean. The food was stocked at the buffet, and if it wasn't, there were people cooking in the back, from what I could see and hear. The food is just basic Chinese food mixed with American and Japanese. Chinese food: chow mein, eggrolls, kung pao chicken, general chicken, honey walnut shrimp, salt pepper shrimp, fried shrimp, fried rice, stir fried mini crabs, honey chicken, baked mussels, clams and mussels in some sauce, baked fish, etc. American: fried chicken, French fries, pizza, garlic bread, corn on the cob, beef ribs (steamed with bbq sauce poured on top), clam chowder, etc. Japanese food: various rolls and miso soup. Mini salad bar, mini cakes, ice cream, and fruit are also available. Food tasted basic. Nothing wowed me, but not grossed me out either. It's very difficult to find a great buffet outside of Las Vegas, and I feel like this place is the closest you can get to decent quality/selection. It's located in a busy plaza in Cerritos, so sometimes parking can be a pain, but we have always been able to find a spot even on busy weekend nights. The inside is spacious, so even if there's a long line, it moves quickly. The last time we came here was a few weeks ago, and I believe it was close to $30/person, which isn't bad in my opinion, and they also offer senior and child discounts. They have a decent selection of Chinese-American food (orange chicken, broccoli beef, chow mein, etc.), and they also had a decent selection of seafood (salmon, clams, mussels, etc.). Other notable areas are a Mongolian BBQ station, salad station, sushi station, and grilled items station. The desserts look meh, and while I like the variety of their self-serve ice cream (they have 8 flavors), the area ends up pretty messy and gross, lol. Compared to other buffets I have been to in OC, this place has the most selection and best quality. The food generally is hot and is being replaced constantly (at least the times I have been there), and I like the wide selection. Pretty good buffet! Definitely one of the best in the area. This is definitely a nicer buffet compared to the others in the area (Hawaiian gardens, etc). This place gives the typical asian/seafood buffet vibe. It actually wasn't really busy when we went on a weeknight. The food was as expected for me. As long as you're not expecting like vegas-level buffet, this definitely gets the job done at a reasonable price. The variety of food was decent and the quality was not bad. I organized a 50 person party here again on 12/10/22 and it's always the perfect place for that many people because everyone can find something they like. There are still various choices of food. Many types of Asian, but your kids can also get pizza, if they choose. The vegetables are fresh and crisp tender if you pick the cooked versions. There are many varieties of sashimi and sushi. The desserts are plentiful, but I'm wishing they'd bring back my favorite, creme brulee!! The serve yourself ice cream is always a hit because who doesn't have room for ice cream? MY FAVORITE dish next to the garlic crab shoulder is something new and seems it's a hit with everyone as it's often empty, BUT... WAIT FOR IT. It's delicious... and called GARLIC FISH. You'll see the whole fish, but just take what you want and I scored BIG TIME with a piece that had fish roe!!! OMGAWD. DELICIOUS. Not exactly sure what type of fish it is, but very lightly seasoned, with a very light, crispy (almost non-existent) batter and a hint of soy and garlic... Crisp on the outside, light and NOT fishy at all. I always look forward to seeing the General Manager, Jason, but unfortunately missed him twice in December (we came back again on 12/30/22) with some family who were here from out of town. The dinner and weekend prices are on the higher end but you get a lot of food. I think as long as I eat $30 worth of poke then I've broken even (girl math lol). I like the hibachi station and usually get a plate as well. I'm a big fan of their taro buns and sesame balls. The servers can be a bit hard to flag down but luckily you only need them for drink refills since you pretty much serve yourself. This complex has Filipino, Hawaiian, Japanese, and kebabs, and many Indian and Vietnamese places are just a few blocks away. Consequently, this buffet has different kinds of Asian food, from poke and sushi, to fast food Chinese, to teppanyaki, dim sum, and also grilled Filipino specialties. We wanted to get more seafood; they had small fried crab, many kinds of shrimp, mussels and squid, but no crab legs. There's a discount for seniors, and weekdays are cheaper. They add an 18% gratuity for each persons paying (we paid separately) that was with the party. It's much more expensive on the weekend and on a Sunday! Food - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, salads, deserts and all. If you have allergies, you may want to reconsider as am sure there's cross contamination between plates here. Very happy to see they had mapo tofu and eggplant in garlic sauce. -There was a Mongolian Grill station and there was also a bbq station (they had grilled squid, sardine, chicken and beef) -Sushi station had a lot of selection of sushi rolls and nigiri sushi with good ratio of sushi and rice. -Dim sum station had several dishes -There was a Western section with Pizza, nuggets, fries and other fried things -Salad station was kept clean and fresh -Fruit station had fresh cut fruits instead of canned fruits -There was a dessert station and ice cream station with several flavors Our server was very attentive and friendly.
