We had a great time at Four Seasons Hotel. It was a short visit but still nice. The hubby booked it through Amex. We stayed in a basic room type. This is our 3rd time staying in Chicago. We've now committed toto going twice a year. We're looking for our favorite hotel in Chicago and seeing far we haven't found it. Don't get me wrong. All the hotel's have been nice but we just haven't been wowed. We have our favorite hotels in CA but now we need our favorite Chicago hotel. I'll be back next month with another hotel review. Check out the photos and videos of this one as we tried to get content for this one day trip. Oh and the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. That was a plus. I also forgot to mention. Base rooms at these older hotels. To me do not seem worth it but the suits are definitely worth it!

Fabulous stay at the Four Seasons. The view, the service and the location is just what you would expect for this luxurious hotel. Our 5 night stay was made more memorable by the small but very on point little touches that was provided by staff. Ie- cord holders, silk wipes for my glasses. We never asked for them but were thoughtfully provided by housekeeping. Truly did not expect it. And this was on top of all of the over the top other services they gave - automatic turn down service, champaign and chocolate covered strawberries just because my daughter casually mentioned it was our 35th wedding anniversary! And as a farewell gift, they provided us with a Thanksgiving pumpkin loaf!!! We will for sure stay there again next year for our annual Thanksgiving visit to family. Much love and thanks to the Four Seasons' staff

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, and exceptional service. Gorgeous room with great amenities. The concierge Luis was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during our stay. Michael with the in-room ice cream and martini carts made our experiences once-in-a-lifetime but we can't wait to come back and enjoy again!

Fabulous from the moment we arrived! We stayed on the 45th floor, so we enjoyed a lovely view of Lake Michigan. What's not hiding is the luxury and comfort: beautiful rooms, warm and attentive service, stunning pool, sauna, steam room and full service spa (yes, please). How can you not feel pampered and relaxed when you're staying somewhere this beautiful and well appointed. And let's talk location! This hotel is steps from all the iconic spots on the Magnificent Mile. Shopping, restaurants, museums; it's all right there. All in all, a dreamy Chicago escape.

There are many luxury hotels in Chicago but Four Seasons delivers on luxury, privacy, understated elegance, location, charm and more, much more. The hotel is located on the North End of Chicago's Magnificent Mile in the Chicago Loop neighborhood, surrounded by upscale department stores, and private access to 900 North Michigan Shops, the Four Seasons Hotel occupies floors 30 to 46 and one of the best views of the city. Four Seasons Chicago team is very well trained and take a lot of pride in providing every single guest with the best possible experience, from arrival to departure, guests interaction with valet, to doorman, front desk agents, concierge, bartender, restaurant hosts and waiters, even housekeeping is at a whole different level, my room and this hotel was impeccable, something I can't say about other 5 star hotels in the city, I did like the St.Regis and would happily stay there again, same with Waldorf Astoria, but FSC is in a class of its own, the Four Seasons George V in Paris is undoubtedly better, but then it's Paris and the competition in the luxury segment is fierce, the Peninsula is the only one other hotel in Chicago at a similar level as FSC. Four Seasons Chicago is an amazing property, love everything about, you'll be pampered from the moment you arrive until your leave, impeccable service and attention to detail, the hotel staff is one of the best of any five star US hotel I've been to, and that's an amazing achievement, a couple of days ago, I heard comedian Bill Maher say he is "quitting" touring as standup because hotels in the States are terrible, (paraphrasing as I can't use his exact words on a Yelp review) there is always something wrong with the room or service, and I can attest to that fact, This property is and has been the exception, but even the best is not perfect, my only complaint is they have no house limo, is very rare not to provide the services of a house car when it comes to five star hotels, which by the way, all other Four Seasons I've been to have. As mentioned, my experience here has always been flawless, I even asked one of the waitress if they could make me a Chicago style hotdog, despite the lux digs, and not being on the menu, they did, a few minutes later chef showed up with an authentic Four Seasons Chicago dawg, it was very good, it was almost as good as the famous Devil's Dawg a couple of blocks away but then that's not their specialty, true to their 5 star rating they delivered, and that's what makes them so special. I can not say enough about how wonderful the staff is, they excel at everything, even if you are familiar with Chicago, make sure to stop by their Clefs d'Or concierge desk, they are on par with the Hôtel Ritz Paris, from appointments to private shopping on some of the most exclusive stores in town, to tickets for concerts, hard to score restaurant reservations, to providing a basket with blankets and everything you'll need for a picnic in a park like Ravinia, reservations to Four Seasons Yachts, and planes, and anything in between, no task is too big, or too small, they have always come through, and while visiting the city, after long working working or shopping hours, all guests have access to their glorious spa, make sure to stop by and inquire about the facilities, they offer Night Spa and Day Spa experiences, 24 hrs Fitness Club, and Pool from 6:00am to 8:00pm. Happy Travels.

Cucumber-lime water kept me hydrated at the spa.

This review is for the day Spa/Pool experience that we purchased through Resort Pass- and I totally give that FIVE STARS, especially Mariela in the Spa who gave me the most fabulous manicure/pedicure of my life. That was marvelous, so relaxing!! She provided the most tranquil experience and I love how my fingernails and toenails sparkle. Loved every minute! The staff was above and beyond fantastic at Check In at the front desk and the Spa Check In as well as the whole team at the pool and spa. I believe my sister paid $130 each plus tip for each of our mani-pedis which is not unreasonable for such a posh location. It was a birthday gift to me, and I am super grateful. I didn't stay at the hotel. This is not a hotel I could afford to stay overnight. Rooms start at $425, I believe, plus parking, and that was for a weekday, as we did check to see if we could stay over, but we instead took a taxi home after our spa day. So we didn't stay at the hotel, although it looks absolutely 5 star and amazing. The lobbies are gorgeous and it all feels very posh and beautiful. I took off a star my rating because the price of food once inside this hotel, oh my! My sister ordered from the Poolside Menu, just a "snack" as we didn't bring anything with us and we were there for 5 hours. I had seen the prices on the menu and read the fine print at the bottom about the extra fees, so I decided to fast for the day. She was really hungry though and truly only got chips and guacamole plus one Diet Coke, and her bill came to nearly $50!! On the menu, I think the chips/guacamole were one of the cheapest options and one serving was $20 plus single glass of Diet Coke is $9... but once the $7 delivery fee, service fee (which is not the tip and was over 20%), tax, and tip were added, it came to nearly $50. My sister is a Chicago school teacher and had bought this pass for us on Resort Pass so we could spend a school holiday together swimming at the Four Seasons and getting our nails done... but I don't think she'd budgeted for a $50 plate of chips! I know I definitely didn't budget for that. Instead, I ate a free apple from the nice bowl that was next to the pool and drank lots of water. I went home hungry, but that's okay. So, if you go for the day experience, eat in advance. And have fun! It was a beautiful day and we will definitely return. We both love Mariela so much!

We've been coming to Chicago at least once a year or over other year for 10 years now and have tried many upscale hotels. Four Seasons Chicago is an absolute favorite. Our favorite room 3419 has beautiful views of Lake Michigan and city scapes as well, great soaking tub and spacious suite. We are in love with their spa, pool, jacuzzi and sauna, an absolute plus over a few hotels we had considered over Four Seasons. But the views and the amenities can't be beat. Solid room service food, (not always the same at other locations in California, where we're from). The service is near impeccable, the staff are excellent, unpretentious, generous and if we have any issues (like a most recent snafu with a broken heater/air-conditioning unit, which they fixed (I caught a cold for first few days of our most recent stay) they booked us for a 4th night at our original rate (the city had multiple conferences which pushed all rates into the absurd by the time we were there), comped us a dinner at Adorn which was absolutely delicious and took great care of us! Great bar, great drinks, great food, great service. Can't wait to come back again!

I've stayed at many luxury hotels but the quality of the service at the Four Seasons Chicago is the best I've ever experienced. From the personal texts before I arrived - texts that were from a human - through to check out; my Amex Platinum upgrade to an amazing suite with spectacular views of the lake; to the restaurant, room service, housekeeping, and everything in between. The spaces are beautiful in texture and tone. I asked for two croissants and jam at 5 am before I left for an early flight, and they were promptly delivered warm from the oven. I could write pages on how the staff stepped up at every opportunity, always remembering my name. Plus Le Labo amenities in the bath. Location is also ideal for shopping or a morning run. I'd give 10 stars if it was possible.

Chicago in the summer is hot. This was particularly new to me because I am from California and the weather stays the same for the most part. Even when it rained it was still hot. My guy, bestie, and me were walking down the main drag and got thirsty for something stronger than water. Of course, as I looked up I saw the Four Seasons and thought rooftop bar on this beautiful day in the neighborhood. Get in, got to the elevators and see the sign that it was closed for the season...forgot why but jus why? Fuqn annoying. Ok then we tried to have drinks at the inside bar and it was closed and the restaurant was the only place open for drinks with a very limited menu because it was past lunch. Oh boy, again; WTF, no one randomly stops at the Four Seasons to have drinks though the day. Odd.. but hey we made do what it was going to do by all means....you can put it on the list but make sure to call before you show up!

This hotel was located within the loop near the river, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are basic and small. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.

I want to say that I have had my eye on this hotel for a while now after looking for Hilton hotel locations with a peloton bike, which this one has. Other than that, I loved that the location of this hotel sits in the heart of Chicago, surrounding a plethora of activities which made it the perfect choice for hotel stay to celebrate. Okay, it was an experience going up to the lobby area to check in at this hotel, a blonde moment as I am known for if you follow my reviews. The lobby is located on the 4th floor, so be sure to choose "L" for the lobby because there is no 4th floor button listed in the elevator. Me and two other hotel guests had an adventure going up to the lobby area after trying to figure out where the 4th floor button was. My experience with the receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and the receptionist giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out ends at 12:00 PM! If you have the Hilton honors application, there is the opportunity to check in with the application, choosing your room, and receiving a digital key, which will allow you to go to your room contactless without seeing a receptionist upon your arrival. I have not used this method, but if you are interested in no contact whatsoever then you can use it with the Hilton Honors application. After locating and entering my room, I thought to myself this is fancy once I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There was a variation of vibrant colors in the room from its curtains to the headboard of the king-size bed, the carpet, and a gold chair that looked like something out of your grandmother's house. Out of all, I just could not take my eyes off the curtains which reminded me of cherry blossoms because of the colors. Inside the bathroom there were liquid products by Gilchrist & Soames Zero% attached to the wall. Throughout my travels, I have noticed that hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I really enjoyed the water pressure; its soothing pressure made me feel very cleansed during each usage. It was wonderful toggling with the spray patterns, with the addictive feel of the pressure hitting my face and body. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, comforter, a coffee maker (Hamilton Beach), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and USB and AC plugins attached to either the headboard of the bed, lamps, or the television cabinet, which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hampton Inn Majestic, as expected, had an exceptionally beautiful inner interior! As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I must say that I was pleased to see several dumbbell weights, medicine balls, kettlebells, a decent selection of workout machines, and two peloton fitness bikes which charmed me out of my panties once I spotted them. And oh, honey did I enjoy it on my birthday with the lovely Hannah Frankson as my peloton instructor, who put my legs through torture during her low impact workout. Having the complimentary breakfast was a relief because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. And I was highly satisfied with the quality of what was presented. It is served daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. For you all visiting the city of Chicago, there are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hampton Inn Majestic. As a resident, a few that I adore are Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago! Next door is the CIBC Theatre, which I noticed upon my initial arrival at the hotel. And if you are looking to explore the city or outer part of the city, the Chicago Union Station, and CTA Train Station are very accessible to-and-from. I would surely book Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of interest in downtown Chicago. ~ Live every moment ~ Thomas G

Kudos to her and to the team that hired her. My room was beautiful. Nia also let me know I had been upgraded due to my Marriott loyalty, which was very much appreciated. I stayed in a king room, and the moment I walked in, I honestly considered extending my stay another night. The space had a sleek, modern look, everything was clean, and the lighting gave it a stylish city vibe. I ordered room service shortly after arriving and got a burger with fries (which I believe were Parmesan fries ). Everything was very good, and the room service attendant Lorena was just as kind and pleasant. Even though I was only there for one night, the experience was great from start to finish. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and the location is incredibly convenient--close to everything, which I always appreciate when traveling. I will definitely look to stay here again the next time I'm in Chicago and hope to have the same wonderful experience.

I stayed at the EMC2 Autograph Collection in Chicago and it's the kind of place that makes you…read morebriefly reconsider your own apartment choices. The room? Smart without trying too hard. Clean lines, moody lighting, and that subtle blend of science-meets-art that somehow feels both curated and effortless. The art isn't decorative filler; it's intentional. The whole property has that boutique confidence: not loud, not trendy-for-the-sake-of-trendy...just precise. The aesthetic walks a tightrope between laboratory chic and soulful design, and it doesn't fall. The restaurant deserves its own paragraph. The olive cake alone should have a publicist. The food is thoughtful, layered, and memorable without being pretentious. It feels like someone actually tasted everything before approving the menu; which, these days, is not a given. Location? Ideal. Walkable, central, easy. The gym? Surprisingly solid. Not the sad afterthought treadmill situation. An actual usable space. But here's the thing. Beautiful rooms fade. Art becomes background. Even olive cake, tragically, gets finished. What stays is service. And Nia. Nia is the reason my long stay didn't feel like a stay. It felt like being known. Her smile isn't transactional. Her care isn't performative. The attention to detail is quiet and precise. She remembered my name everyday and I was there for a while. Makes you think, "Oh, someone is actually paying attention." There's a difference between service and hospitality. Nia understands the difference. That's what brings you back.

Truly a 5 star experience at The Langham!…read more I was lucky enough to be gifted a stay and had an incredible time. The hotel is so beautiful, I can see why it's ranked #3 in the nation. If you're able to splurge for club access at $200/person, you'll get to experience stunning city views, breakfast, afternoon tea, snacks, unlimited cocktails, and evening bites. We were also sent a bottle of wine and snacks to our room. I loved that they have a free spa area where you can use the sauna, heated stone loungers, and cold showers. The pool was stunning and we enjoyed swimming, just wish the hot tub was hotter as it was lukewarm. The room was great as well with a Nespresso machine and relaxing tub. Every time we stepped out of the room we would come back to a nice surprise, the room would be cleaned or they would leave the water and ice. Very attentive customer service here. Overall it was nice to live in luxury for the night, highly recommend if you're looking to splurge and relax! Hope I'll be able to stay again someday.

Our view was stunning and I loved I could see downtown and the river from our room. We booked the cinema suite for a cute movie night and I loved that. They had a cute popcorn station with candy and pop, plus you can order room service. The spa was amazing and the facilities were nice.

I've been to Miru many times and finally got to try out the hotel for a staycation…read more Pros: -I loved that they had two restaurant options in the hotel. Both have incredible views but I would definitely recommend having at least one meal on the Miru patio if you are there during nice weather. -I was most surprised by their massive gym and has stunning views. It's also open 24 hours. They offered Pilates classes as well for an extra fee. -the hotel is brand new and all the finishes are so high end. The rooms are clean and quiet. The hallways are huge and felt like a maze to navigate but it also added to feeling of privacy. -there were so many high end details that made it extra special (the cozy Frette bath robes, welcome drinks, treat box in the room upon arrival, and the accent lighting in the room). -the location. It's just across the river from the heart of Michigan ave on the north end of a residential development. You don't feel like you are in the middle of the chaos of the city but the park, lake front and river are footsteps away. Negatives: -view was underwhelming ( fourth floor river view . Might choose the park view next time. I'd also recommend not facing the river as there was lots of honking/noise. -the room layout was awkward. They have this huge desk between the bed and tv. The full length mirror is a down a long hallway from bathroom/ where you would be getting dressed. -the room service comes on these huge heavy trays. The staff seemed like they were straining under the weight of it/ it was awkward. -I'd probably skip the spa/massage -$90/ day parking. Was able to do a spothero for about $40 next door.

So, walking from the Blackbawks shop when it's 20° isn't an easy task. Also, I wasn't able to try the Tre Dita since I didn't book a reservation in advance. Hopefully, I can schedule a reservation in the future. Plus, since it was mid-December, the St Regis had their third annual 12 Days of Sabrage, which guests of honor perform the evening ritual of champagne sabrage, which celebrates the transition from day to night. They offered complimentary toast of champagne and a Vosges Haut-Chocolate truffle. The hotel encouraged everyone to bring a new or lightly used winter clothing for children in need.
