Prime rib- 20 oz, came with 2 sides and au jus and horseradish sauce.

Our first time here. The food was very good but large portions (prime rib was 20 oz- $48). Our issue was that the tables were very close together, people running by us all meal long and it was loud. We had a reservation at 6:30 on a Saturday and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated as the place was packed! We'll try another time when it might be less crowded.

The dining room is boisterous and lively, making it a great environment where both families and adult parties seemed to be having a wonderful time. For drinks and appetizers, I started with a lychee martini and ordered the crab cake appetizer as my entree. While the flavor was good, I've honestly had better crab cakes elsewhere. My fiancé ordered the surf and turf, which was perfectly prepared. The real stars of the meal, though, were the sides and dessert. We ordered the roasted brussels sprouts and the baked mac and cheese, and we both absolutely LOVED our sides. To wrap up the night, we dived into the peach cobbler special--it was incredible, and I would easily go back just for that! Overall, it was a fantastic evening with great energy, amazing sides, and a standout dessert.

I started with French onion soup which was sooooo salty. Flavor strong but salty. My Partner got the crab cake. They did enjoy that. So I got the main entree of filet tip carbonara. The meat was cooked well which I was okay with but should have been medium well. The pasta sauce again saltier than would like. I guess this is why there is no salt and peppers shakers on the table lol. My Partner got the skirt steak and fries. Again he enjoyed both but prefers his own marinade. Bottom line this place is more than your average place cost wise. Knowing how to cook and get a piece of filet mignon for $14.00 at ShopRite and a skirt steak for $25 at best and do it yourself doesn't justify the cost. The atmosphere was ok little dark, we did get a nice corner table. Otherwise tight seating. Our server was super polite and gracious for our tip. So overall if you have money to spend on okay food you won't be disappointed. Would I come back? no.

The restaurant is gorgeous as you can see by the video of that fountain, you feel like you're transported to Italy. But the restaurant isn't just pretty, the food is absolute phenomenal too. The truffle gnocchi was one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had in my life and the chicken cutlet I ordered on top was also one of the best chicken cutlets I've ever had in my life (don't tell my mom or my wife). Our waitress was super attentive and kind as well so the service doesn't miss either. This might be my new favorite restaurant by the shore, definitely come check it out.

The first time we visited, our table was directly next to the bathroom, which wasn't ideal, but the food and drinks were so good that it made up for it. We decided to come back again last night, and once again, the food was wonderful. The veal parmesan was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation but weren't seated until around 7:50. We then didn't receive our drinks until about 8:20, and our food didn't come out until around 9:00. Giving four stars because the food truly is amazing and has been consistently great every time we've visited. We just wish the service and overall experience matched the quality of the food, especially when dining with a reservation.

I've always heard good things, and I thought the food stood up to the reputation. The restaurant was packed on a Monday night, which was probably a good sign for what led to a delicious meal. I really enjoyed the roasted oysters topped with yummy breadcrumbs. My daughter enjoyed a sushi appetizer and wedge salad with blackened tuna that she claimed was delicious as well. Our other dinner partner enjoyed his halibut. I really loved the show-stopping, gigantic jumbo lump crab meat risotto. It was very filling, but super delicious. The food was rich and, in some ways, basic, but executed perfectly. I added some of the street corn and that really made things even better get this dish. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was busy, if not hectic. Our table was in the middle of the room, next to a large family with little kids. One was seven months old and the other was two. That seemed like a bit much for a dinner with these price points. It's not an inexpensive restaurant and certainly not a family-vibe Houlihan's. We had mixed feelings about the atmosphere, but I kind of thought it was cool--a really pretty building with some rustic charm.

If you want business and your staff to work - I'm sad to say they turned down a nice group of 30-50 year olds ON A MONDAY (which is huge for us). Lackluster. Lazy. Underwhelming. We stopped by Lubrano's after strolling the boardwalk wanting to avoid the greasy boardwalk eats. I wasn't expecting much since it just seemed like your standard pizzeria with a dining area, but I was surprised to learn the food offerings are elevated and done right. We came at an odd time, right in between lunch and dinner, but thankfully we're given the option to order off the lunch menu if we wanted. The lobster & crab bisque was one of the items on the lunch menu that I ordered - and the portion was MASSIVE. The flavor was there, but to my disappointment there were no signs of crab or lobster meat in this soup whatsoever, not even one chunk of meat. The appetizer salads given to every person who ordered an entree were a decent size, and the balsamic dressing packed a punch. I opted for the spicy rigatoni and once again, the portion size was healthy and the flavors were great. I tried some of the other dishes at the table, including the special of the day: monkfish, and all entrees were done well. It may have been an off day, but our waitress didn't seem too happy to serve us and would often cut us off mid sentence when ordering / asking a question. Often times she seemed irritated and short with the questions we asked regarding menu options, but I'll give Lubrano's the benefit of the doubt that this isn't their standard. Overall, this is a solid restaurant for Italian food and would definitely return when in the area!

We started with the bread, a focaccia, which was served with an olive oil that had a large roasted garlic in it. It was a delicious starter, and complimented our Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was 'different' - aren't they all? I've been experiencing very different types - the one tonight had a subtle dressing - with a subdued sweetness. The grated Parmesan and Breadcrumbs smothered the salad - when you see the picture, you'll understand. It was a good salad, however I would have preferred less grating and more dressing. Next up, the Waygu Meatballs, in a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. The meatballs were excellent. I was mystified by the accompanying 'jar' of 'basil' ricotta. See attached picture-it's a large amount of ricotta - I tasted it - it was very creamy but the basil was faintly noticeable. I added a little to a meatball and it didn't enhance the 'bite' at all. I was embarrassed leaving this large jar of cheese. We shared the two entrees - the first, Sea Bass on a bed of mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and had the most delicate taste. It was 'too delicate', if there is such a thing as- for they say, ' good fish, doesn't taste like fish '. However, the fish needed seasoning or sauce - one or the other, or both. The next entree was the mushroom house made ravioli - a tender pasta with a mushroom filling covered in a creamy, earthy mushroom sauce. We also ordered a side of sautéed wild mushrooms and added those to the ravioli - it was a wonderful dish.

Hubby got the Tre colore salad which was a special & he loved it. For dinner we both did specials: chicken rollatini (amazing! Highlight dish of the evening) & husband got the Salmon Oscar which was very good too. Took dresser home as we often do bc we were stuffed: ring ding for 2. WOW!
