This place is the best when you are having the worst day. My son has a 1996 VW Cabrio, the car has one tire in the grave, but we are constantly trying to keep it going. After driving it 1000+ miles from Seattle to Orange County, it finally gave up! We heard about Four Seasons from one of my son's co-workers. They were great. The car had died on his way to work, so they sent a tow driver out to pick it up. I had no idea who to call (he doesn't have AAA) and so I really appreciated that they had a good tow company who came quickly at a fair price. Once the car was dropped at the shop, the guys there were SOOOO nice about explaining the possible problems and solutions. They were really great about understanding that the repairs were going to cost more than the car's value and trying to find used parts, etc. to help us keep the repair costs down. This car is my son's baby, he loves it (God only knows why), so it was extra nice to find a shop that not only understood this, but did everything possible to get the car running again. I am glad to say they were able to "revive" it and he is back on the road today. I'm sure it will continue to require lots of TLC, so I'm glad to have these guys to turn to when we need them. In mid to late 2016 I brought my MKV R32 to four seasons tuning to get the UM Engine, transmission, and haldex tune (triple tune). Upon arriving James was very polite and let me know how long the tune would take. Upon the process he provided me with an initial VCDS scan of the vehicle to show all vehicle faults. I was in and out relatively fast. I live around 60 miles away and by then I noticed the car was having some slight issues. My DSG while on a hill would on occasion try to engage very hard then release the clutch and slam it again. After the tune this would happen on every slightly positive slope. I sent James in email stating my issues with a slight video and he never questioned me at all and said he would let UM know of the issue asap. The next day he told me that UM has heard of the issue before on some cars and informed me to bring it in when I had a chance. I brought it back a few days later and James re flashed with a different file provided by UM. Since then I have NEVER had the bucking action on a hill ever again. The triple tune is amazing and I highly recommend it. I'm always a dealer type of guy but no doubt if I ever need engine repair or looking for more performance I'll stop by James shop in a heartbeat as he is very kind and knows his stuff about the VAG scene. read more
