Alright so I'm from Chicago and this place is probably one of two pizza places in Nashville that I actually enjoy. And I've tried quite a few... I am extremely critical of pizza places and Fox's gets a two thumbs up. Hits the mark every time. You gotta believe me here people. Remember when I said I'm from Chicago?! Sometimes you see places with the "brick oven, wood fired, artisan, BLAH BLAH BLAH". Not worth time, money or carbs. (Sorry Pizza hipsters) Fox's is a down home classic pizza joint that may not have a lot of razzle dazzle, but it sure gets the job done without trying to impress people with flash. The pizza does the talking for them. In the pizza industry, you gotta show your dough by letting the sauce speak for itself. Fox's pizza walks the walk. Ok so after my cheesecake issue I talked with some of the people that work there. They were very sincere in their apology and genuinely want their customers to be happy. They do have great pizza and wings and their prices are very reasonable. I still need to try their calzones. I'm sure they're wonderful. Absolutely stay away from this abysmal food desert. We ordered the 2 (13") Italian bake and a salad to go. It should have been called the salad bake. The photos shows a nice sandwich loaded with appetizing ham, salami and pepperoni. A bit of lettuce and a slice or two of tomato. What we uncovered was two slices of mystery meat, a load of lettuce and two half slices of tomato. If this is the care and quality of their other offerings.. I highly recommend you go to the local grocery store and have them make you a sandwich.. no doubt it would be 200% better read more

The reviews say this is a 4 star place and my experience validated that. We ordered and decided to stay and eat. If you decide to as well, know that there are no fountain drinks (they do have bottles) and there are maybe 3 tables to sit at. My guess is most people are in nearby hotels grabbing an easy bite. I asked if the cheese sticks were made in house. Aside from no, I was asked if anyone makes their own. I do. They're easy to make and I was surprised by her answer. The pizza was good, the crust was right and the sizes were very perfect. I'd say worth a try is you're in the area. If I could leave zero stars I would. We ordered via Yelp for delivery. Were given a 60-minute wait time which came and went. I was prompted to call Yelp support, and after waiting another 10 minutes on hold I was told that the restaurant canceled my order. I am not even sure I would have found out about any of this if I hadn't called to check. Not sure if their food is any good but I would never order delivery if you actually want to eat. I'm only in town for a couple of days and found the reviews on yelp helpful in making this my go to place. The pizza was a Meat Lovers/Add Mushrooms! It showed up hot and LOADED with toppings. Although the mushrooms were canned, not fresh, it still was an awesome pie. And, since I ordered a "Gourmet" pizza, there's a coupon for a free 2 liter. Who could say no to "FREE?" It pains me to write this review as this looks like a family run business. I had a horrible experience the other night here. I ordered a large 2 topping pizza with 12 wings for $19.99 (great value). I ordered this for delivery. When I placed my order there was no mention that they were busy. An hour and half later I called to check the status of my food and it still wasn't ready to be delivered. I called again 30 minutes later and it still wasn't ready. I then offered to pick it up and she said it would be ready in 15 mins. I picked up the food 2 hours after I ordered it and the pizza and wings were medium at best. Both were very lackluster but I get it, for $20 you can't expect the best pizza in town. I gave them 3 stars because they were working hard and are a family owned business, but they need to communicate better. This is a generous review this was a one star dinning experience my wife and I would like to forget about. read more

Although I vowed to never order from them again, against my better judgment, I thought I'd give them one more try )because they're close to home). Welp, no surprise!! I decided to make a delivery order. my order was over $60. As I was about to tell the lady my order she put me on hold for a good while , she finally comes back and starts taking my order and as I'm telling her my order she rudly interrupts me saying "can you hurry up with your order I have 3 other calls waiting " I simply told her if she wouldnt have interrupted me and would listen to what I was saying I was about to finish with the order. the wait for delivery was already over an hour 1/2. customer service was a 2/5. hopefully the food will be better.. smh read more

I really enjoyed this pizza! I work at the airport. On my lunch break, I ordered ahead and went inside to pick up my order. The place looked clean and the decor was very nice inside. The employees were friendly. Also, gotta love the Fox's name and design! : ) My pizza was much better than expected. I just got a simple cheese pizza. I'm a pasta and pizza type girl and that was good! Fox's is a franchise but this pizza was steps above chain pizza! The pizza sauce tasted fantastic and the pizza was cooked perfectly. I even ate the crust. They gave me some parmesan and pepper to go with it. They had my order ready quickly. The food was delish and I'll definitely return to try more later! : ) read more

I've been on a pizza kick the last couple weeks. I'm not sure why. I've always loved pizza but it's starting to become an addiction. I opened up yelp to see if I could try any new pizza places. I've heard of Fox Dens before but never had it. I check their website & saw a "today's special" for one large topping pizza for $7.99. I figured that would be something good to try. I called & ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I made my way over after work. This location is located off Elm Hill Pike in a strip mall. I've passed by this strip mall a million times but never noticed Fox Dens in it. I pulled up & walked inside. The shop is small, a couple tables are inside if you'd like to eat there. The woman didn't ask for my name over the phone, but it was 5:30 & I guess they didn't get a lot of call in ordered because she knew the pepperoni pizza was mine. I also noticed that they had a 100 score from the health department. That always makes me feel good. My total was $8.74 & I was on my way. The weight of the pizza seemed a little light to me for a large. The box was big though. I waited to look at it when I got home. I opened the box and noticed how big it was. I'm not sure if the inchage (is that a word?) but they cut the large into ten pieces. I like that. It also makes me feel like a fatty because I ate 5 slices. I thought the pepperoni pizza was great for the $7.99 price. The crust and bottom had the right amount of crisp to it. I liked how the cheese was cooked golden brown. The amount of pepperoni was good, however I thought the amount of cheese was a little spare. Maybe next time I'll order with extra cheese. Was it the best ever? Snowmaggedon II - January 16, 2017; stuck in my hotel and they don't serve lunch...Yelp leads me to Fox's Pizza Den as good, local chain, and I couldn't be happier! The delivery was fast, the pizza was hot from the oven, and the Deluxe delivered on taste! Very happy camper here in snow-bound Nashville! I'm getting pretty picky about quality pizza, because the national chain stuff just kills my stomach...Fox's hit the spot, and I feel great! The food here is delicious! We had lemon pepper wings fried extra crispy with an extra side of the lemon pepper sauce & the pasta with meat balls delivered. We ordered right here on yelp to our hotel, the delivery was about 15/20 minutes early. The food was fresh, warm & tasty. The pasta had a melted cheese layer & the garlic bread was delicious. In town on business so I used yelp to order delivery to my hotel. Delivery was half the time yelp estimated which was nice. Might be different on the weekends. I ordered two types of chicken wings. Hot buffalo and Parmesan garlic. The wings are oven baked or more accurately, fried at the factory and baked at the restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of this style of wings because the skins get somewhat slimy. I crave the crunchy fried skins when I want wings. However, that said, the wings were a good size and the wing sauces were very tasty. The parm garlic is one of the best I've had. The buffalo wasn't too hot, just enough to remind you the main ingredient is hot sauce. read more

Order delivery through Grubhub and really didn't set expectations very high. However the Pizza was delicious and a pleasant surprise for late night delivery. We have experienced many restaurants along the way from Kemah, Texas to Nashville. We have to say that Fox's Pizza Den in Nashville was exceptional in so many ways. Not only did they have an outstanding selection of gourmet pizzas and additional Italian fare, they were pet friendly and were more than happy to accommodate our fur baby to sit with us at their small but very cosy restaurant. In addition, they offer pick up and delivery to the surrounding areas. If we liv d here, this would a permanent place to go or order from. Would recommend this establishment to everyone. read more

I ordered this on Uber Eats by far the worst idea ever , I ordered spaghetti that had a teaspoon of spaghetti sauce and a ceasar salad that had sharp cheddar cheese !!! We didn't feel like going out and was told that they delivered, that's how we stumbled upon them. I ordered a small build your own pizza with extra cheese, pepperoni, and bacon. My son ordered Cajun chicken Alfredo. We were both very happy with our choices; the pizza was wonderful! What I was unhappy with was the time it took to be delivered. We were told about 30 minutes and it ended up taking over an hour and a half. I would order from here again for the food, but would hope that got it to me in a more timely manner. read more
